Many of our subscribers have a subscription to both the Standards database and the Digital Library, but because these two products are on different platforms, customers can't search across both of them at the same time.  This will all change in August when we launch the new integrated platform that combines the standards with the digital library.  The new platform is called the "ASTM Standards and Engineering Digital Library" and will allow subscribers to search across standards and technical papers all from one convenient user interface.  Please contact me directly if you have any questions about this exciting new enhancement at dvglahn@astm.org.

ASTM is working with OCLC to provide MARC records for the Digital Library.  Our aim is to have the records available through OCLC by August 15th.  Please contact Ellen McGlinchey for more information at emcglinc@astm.org.

ASTM's Digital Library is now COUNTER compliant.  Please contact Ellen McGlinchey (emcglinc@astm.org) for additional details on gaining access to COUNTER reports.

ASTM is pleased to announce that we will be COUNTER compliant by this June 2009.  We have been working with MPS Technologies to implement our COUNTER program.  In the coming weeks, IP subscribers to the Digital Library will be contacted and set up to receive access to the MPSInsight interface where they can access COUNTER reports.

This month, the Digitial Library added an "Other books in this series" link to all STPs that are part of a recurring symposium.
