Scariest Movie Quote Ever: "That Thing upstairs Isn't my daughter"

2015-02-03T16:13:00.000-08:00

The Exorcist is ranked as the best horror movie of all time. It rightfully deserves this title as the scariest movie ever made. Linda Blair's evil take as Regan sends a chill up most spines.

This exorcism movie released in 1973 includes a scary movie quote in which the mom says, "That thing upstairs isn't my daughter."

The mother is basically referring to the monster upstairs rather than identifying it as a physical form of her daughter. Her real daughter is trapped inside an evil shell.

The demon Pazuzu has already taken possession of this innocent young girl, Regan. Enter the exorcist, the priest who is tasked with removing this demon through performing an exorcism.

"That thing upstairs isn't my daughter" is by far the spookiest dialogue in a horror film.

Out of Body Experience: What is the out of body experience (OBE)?

2014-09-14T06:16:00.001-07:00

An out of body experience is when the astral body (OBE) and or the astral form leaves the physical body via the middle of the forehead. Astral projection and or astral travel is reminiscent of the OBE because an astral traveler or astral projector also leave the body through the middle of the forehead via an astral body and or astral form. What is the out of body experience (OBE)?

A Nightmare on Elm Street and Insidious are two astral horror movies which depict the out of body experience, commonly known as the OBE. Once the astral body or astral form leave the physical body, a person can move about the astral plane or astral world. In A Nightmare on Elm Street, the dream plane represents the astral plane or astral world. However, the Insidious movie induces astral projection through mind projection techniques such as hypnoses and counting backwards.

People who have induced the OBE claim to float around their body. It is a surreal experience that requires practice and a strong mind to master. Moreover, fatigued minds may disrupt the OBE. Your astral form is capable of viewing your physical body. In the science world, the OBE and astral projection are based entirely on science fiction.

Nonetheless, dream research demonstrates that dreamers produce brain activity while in the dream state. A person can induce the OBE through lucid dreaming, which is realizing the reality of a dream within a dream. It is at this point the dreamer questions the dream, informing their mind of the dream state. Therefore, the person can communicate to the subconscious to induce the OBE.

The history of the OBE coincides with astral projection. The Egyptians are known to have practiced astral projection. Their early artwork also shows an astral form leaving the physical body via the OBE process. Nonbelievers challenge the OBE because they assume it's make believe.

Thus, people who suffer from sleep paralysis claim to leave their body through the astral form. Accident victims who have a near-death experience identify the OBE. Surgery victims report the OBE while undergoing an operation. There are valid accounts to deem the OBE as a real process.

The OBE and astral projection coincide with demonic possession since the nay-sayers reject them as fiction. Moreover, the OBE, astral projection, and demonic possession fall into the UFO and ghost controversial topics. People question the OBE as scientists investigate life beyond Earth. Do you think the OBE is faux? Want to attempt to induce an OBE?

You can induce the OBE a number of ways, including training your mind to identify the intended goal - to leave the physical body through your astral form or astral body. Meditation is known to be effective, helping a person to induce the OBE with a strong, clear mind. Induce the OBE while experiencing a lucid dream. Tell your mind this dream is not real. Inform your astral form to leave your body through the forehead. Inform yourself that you want to float about your physical body.

Make an attempt to induce the OBE to validate whether the out of body experience is indeed reality or fiction. You can achieve fantasy with the OBE. Try to do your first OBE. If you have previously induced the OBE, continue to explore the out of body experience such as meeting astral projectors on the astral plane. Good luck on the OBE.

A Scary Tale of Demonic Possession in a real life girl

2014-07-07T16:37:00.001-07:00

On the new website DailyMail.co.uk, there is an eerie story about multiple demonic possession. This possessed girl is said to have climbed up walls and levitated, resembling what we watched in The Exorcist movie. The real life possession exhibited all the signs and symptoms the Church would identify as a demonic possession.

The house of this girl shows some unknown white apparition in the window. As I scrolled down the website, I noticed something odd that is looking outside of the window. If you don't believe in possession, read this story on DailyMaily.co.uk and you may become a believer.

Deliver Us From Evil exorcism movie

2014-06-07T19:08:00.000-07:00

Eric Bana is starring in an upcoming exorcism movie Deliver Us From Evil, set to be released on July 2, 2014. This movie is based on a true story about a NYPD officer's experience with an evil demonic spirit terrorizing New York City. Devil and demonic subject matters usually delve deep into biblical themes on the Devil.

Exorcism movies are extremely popular. In recent time, The Devil Inside and The Possession finished first in their opening weekends. Moreover, The Conjuring deals with an exorcism in the ending. These types of movies cause anxiety and fear in moviegoers who find demonic and evil spirits entertaining.

Deliver Us From Evil is a great movie title that tells us what the movie is about. The director Scott Derrickson has made previous movies on exorcism, such as The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Sinister. We're sure this movie will feature an exorcism at the end, which The Devil Inside filmmakers failed to incorporate into their movie. The best scene in an exorcism movie is always the ending - the exorcism ritual.

Watch Deliver Us From Evil on July 2, 2014 to get a midsummer scare.

Do you believe in bad luck?

2014-04-29T01:57:00.001-07:00

People get mad when a person blames bad luck on their unfortunate events. The truth is that bad luck is real and that some unlucky people do find moments where their faith and belief system are tested to the max. These people believe that bad luck are consuming their existence. Do you believe in bad luck?

Is it bad luck? How else would a person explain a broken window, engine problems, broken doors, unpaid bills, unable to find a reliable job with degrees and experience, parking and traffic tickets and other events in the same year? The list goes on and on, proving that bad luck is the cause of their chronic problems. On the contrary; bad luck may pose as a possible remedy to repair a broken life.

Why would we think that bad luck is a remedy to our lives? Bad luck tells us that we need to make immediate changes. When things continue to go wrong, we get frustrated and this makes us want to avoid such occurrences.

Nobody wants to get recurring bad luck. Some say that we put ourselves in bad situations rather than believe that we may be cursed and/or targeted for bad luck. The superstitious believe that bad luck involves bad karma. If you owe people, you may never be in a position to retain money.

Bad karma is real. It may visit you right away or return back in the future to give you bad luck. I am a firm believer that bad luck exists in everyday life and that we experience such negative events to increase our awareness about making immediate changes.

If we get too complacent with a mediocre life, we will never accomplish what we really want. A dream can take a lifetime to accomplish while in a comfortable situation. Dreams are supposed to be take effort. We need to struggle first, and then gain the strength to take risks.

Will you accept just any job with bad luck present? Some close friends may consider your negative thinking as an excuse. What these friends don't know is that basic principles are at play. Your friends may think they understand your situation, but they have no clue about your real struggles. Even your family members are quick to judge your decisions. It takes support to see the light.

We have a right to believe in bad luck. If you do all the right things and get all the wrong results, then there is no better way to explain unfortunate events unless we attach them to bad luck. Bad luck may enter our lives to warn us like a visual sensor flashing on your dashboard. It may be telling you that you need to change your ways or risk the future.

Take a risk to accelerate your goals. Try not to focus on bad luck too much. We can either blame bad luck all the time for any unfortunate events or thank these bad moments as a reason we took action.

Your bad luck may be a blessing in disguise, the nerve that is communicating to your body that it is time to go after what you wish and want to do with your life. There is no better time than now to chase after your dreams.

We can believe in bad luck, but don't use its message as a way to lose hope. The next time you have bad luck, look up to the sky and say thank you for this message of faith and courage.

According to Cinema Blend's interview, the producer of Insidious movies hinted there may be a third installment. However, James Wan is unlikely to return as director. We are sure the studio wants to green light the third movie, but who will direct? James Wan already indicated he is done with horror.

Insidious Chapter 2 makes James Wan a superstar

2013-09-16T01:20:00.000-07:00

Insidious Chapter 2 is the second large opening James Wan has delivered in the past few months. This is unheard of for horror movies, especially with the same director making cheap movie productions that are blockbusters. James Wan is at the center of Hollywood. We see his Hollywood star in the Walk of Fame coming very soon.

Insidious Chapter 2 sold $41 million in movie tickets to finish far ahead of the second place finisher - The Family. This Friday the 13th weekend was all about Insidious. James Wan's Insidious sequel did not disappoint horror movie fans. This director is fresh off his successful The Conjuring movie that made headlines this past July.

Superstar director James Wan is currently directing Fast and Furious 7. This director is turning executive studio heads, who see a brilliance at work with low production products and major revenue. If you haven't watched Insidious Chapter 2, definitely visit your local movie theater.

James Wan is making movies look easy. It has been nearly a decade since Wan made Saw. HIs movie track record is quite impressive, whereas his upcoming Fast and Furious will demonstrate how 10 times the usual budget can play out on the silver screen.

Check out the original Insidious again to connect the dots between the two movies. Have scary fun!

Insidious Chapter 2 is out!

2013-09-13T19:00:00.001-07:00

Happy Friday the 13th! Insidious Chapter 2 is opening right now. We will have spoilers and explanations later tonight. This sequel is not going to be as good as the original. If there is no astral projection, Insidious Chapter 2 will lose the luster that enticed moviegoers two years ago.

James Wan is at the top of the horror world

2013-09-12T02:43:00.002-07:00

James Wan's Insidious Chapter 2 is a sure number #1 weekend box office winner. There is no way the competition will even get close. This Insidious sequel will make at least $40 million and reach as high as $50 million. Friday the 13th is a huge selling point, especially for a super popular original movie that is now scaring up movie audiences with a second chapter.

An interesting James Wan interview surfaced on a movie website all about making movie headlines. In this interview, Wan shares some interesting points such as how he designs his movies by experiencing real scares in the dark (he uses this technique to scare movie fans in scenes) and him wanting to explore The Beauty and the Beast adaptation that he hopes to remake one day.

James Wan is a talented director who is going to make Fast and Furious 7 next year. He has already enjoyed great success making the original Saw and 2011's sleeper hit Insidious. The Conjuring put Wan on a movie pedestal, though the second Insidious is likely going to carve out an opening weekend much larger than his previous movies.

Astral projection helped to sell movie tickets for Insidious. Most movie fans probably asked what is astral projection? This unawareness with astral projection created popularity of an under utilized sub-genre. Without including astral projection in Insidious Chapter 2, this may adversely impact the film for the long haul. We have to wait and see where Insidious 2 takes us. Enjoy watching Insidious Chapter 2 on Friday the 13th (9-13-13).

James Wan is separating himself from previous horror masters. He is becoming a student of his own mastery in a genre he now possesses. We expect Wan to deliver this success in other types of movies.

James Wan has already enjoyed major success directing Saw, Insidious and The Conjuring. Insidious Chapter 2 is guaranteed to finish number #1 at the weekend box office this Friday the 13th.

Insidious followed the Lambert family. Young Dalton got trapped in The Astral Hell of the subplanes. The Insidious ending gave us a twist to remember. If you want to have fun this Friday the 13th, go watch Insidious Chapter 2. Beware of astral projecting to The Further.

Superman Movies: Memory and Imagination

2013-03-01T12:38:00.000-08:00

Superman movies create an illusion of reality. When we watch Superman movies, we enter a fantasy world to escape the perils of life, the daily struggles that consume our waking dreams. Superman represents the symbol of peace, the kind of person we aspire to become. Our memory and imagination take us back to better times, the good moments that define us as empathetic humans.

Today, I was listening to the Superman theme song. The Superman theme song reflects upon my journey to achieve greatness. It reminds that even though though this current hardship is holding me back, I remain hopeful that my future dream is still possible. I completed my college education a few years ago. However, I feel like there is block that keeps me outside of my dream. The Hollywood dream is 19-year in the making.

Movie theme music relaxes my mind. It is the movie theme music I usually hear at Universal Studios such as Back to the Future, Jaws, Jurassic Park, and the rest of the classic movies of the past. This movie music reinforces my dream to keep me on track. Life may seem tough right now, but don't give up trying to attain your dreams.

Do you listen to movie theme music from your favorite movies? Feel like life is beating you up? Perform an online search to find the best movie theme music. Listen to this music to sooth your mind.

The Dark Knight Rises is on tap this Tuesday

2012-12-02T15:02:00.000-08:00

Ready to watch the most anticipated DVD movie release of 2012? The Dark Knight Rises is due to be released this Tuesday December 4, 2012.

In July 2012, The Dark Knight Rises entered the North American box office. The Batman movie made a bundle the first weekend, albeit it fell short of beating out Marvel's The Avengers.

The most popular discussion resulted from whether Bruce Wayne dies in the movie ending. The majority of Batman fans accept the obvious cafe scene as indication Bruce Wayne survived the atomic explosion. However, the minority view the cafe scene as a dream sequence.

Buy your personal copy of The Dark Knight Rises this Tuesday. The Dark Knight trilogy is available this upcoming week.

Disappointed in Paranormal Activity 4

2012-11-09T00:50:00.001-08:00

Wow! Paranormal Activity 4 was a really bad movie. I mean, a really bad movie. We go from one good ending in Paranormal Activity 3 to a bad ending in Paranormal Activity 4.

Paranormal Activity 4 is trying too hard to scare moviegoers. The scare scenes are displaced and overrated. I'm sure PA fans are losing interest because the movie box office results missed projections by 33 percent.

Word-of-mouth about the bad ending probably alerted moviegoers to avoid PA 4 at all cost, meaning to not waste your hard earned money watching a disaster unfold.

We enjoy watching sexy Katie Featherston. She is a nice looking Texan girl. However, we have no interest watching Katie wonder around in another home to convey her importance in the PA storyline.

We won't give up the movie plot, but Katie is part of the terrible ending. This bad ending makes Paranormal Activity 4 the worst movie in the franchise. Please, don't make anymore Paranormal Activity movies. We're scared to watch another bad horror movie.

First it was The Devil Inside. Then, The Cabin in the Woods and The Apparition gave us bad movie experiences minus Ashley Green in the latter movie. But now we must endure another horrible horror movie with Paranormal Activity 4 trying to scare us to meet its quota. The movie ending is just as bad as The Cabin in the Woods.

Watch Paranormal Activity at your own risk.
