I was dying (Pluto) to talk about art (Venus) last night. I specifically wanted to discuss the shadow side of talent, so I called my friend, Ben, who is a Scorpio artist who has worked in the arts or decades.

We got talking about charisma. Ben mentioned instinctual actors like, Marlon Brando, Warren Beatty and James Dean. He mentioned Maria Callas as examples of people who have that IT quality. Never mind their flaws or lack or classical technique. Audiences love them. “Can you imagine, Marlon Brando in a supporting role in a movie?” he asked. “He couldn’t do it. He’s too charismatic; he’s got to play the lead.”

Time squeeze.

It’s 2:30. I’m off to meet with renegade film director, Abel Ferrera and his actress/girlfriend Shanyn Leigh to discuss his latest film, 4:44, a movie about the end of the world. I’d just finished watching it, so it was fresh in my head. Its certainly a timely entry for 2012.

Ladies and Gentlemen, praises be to the Most High; Venus has donned her fatigues, loaded up on ammo, and offically moved into Aries!! And its about damn time too, because if she spent about 32 more seconds in Pisces, I might have just lost it.
