There are plenty more Astrological signatures but the Saturn placement for Donald Trump  is quite telling.  Pay attention to when transiting Pluto crosses into his 6th house (health).

When my children were growing up it wasn’t difficult to see the possibilities in their separate natures.  There was the attraction to athletics but not so much math, there just wasn’t an inclination towards math.  However I am very familiar with children who were terrific at math and or science but had no interest in athletics and so it goes.  There were math tutors and long nights when it came to preparing for a math test or major homework assignment in our house.  Would it have been fair for me to “demand” my children be “good” at math, or let’s flip this and ask the children who were not attracted to athletics but enjoyed math to be good at athletics?  Of course not, we are all given attributions specifically.

Can these interests or lack there of be seen in the Natal Birth chart?  Absolutely.  However it isn’t solely the child we are considering, there are the parents and their natural prejudices carried over from their own parents, and the parent’s parents etc.  In the book I read it was stated that, as a stoic, there are 8 core considerations in which to live one’s life just as in psychology the approach is “confession, discussion, education and transformation.”  There are so many rules and suggestions from mathematical theories to the embracing of religious perspective, but what is the predisposition of the individual?  Can a person who leans towards life as a radical be a well disciplined karate practitioner or contrarian?  I don’t believe so.

Life is full of possibilities, so do we let “nature” or “nurture” rule the individual?  Some might say “why not try both,” and others might say “send them to boarding school” where life will vividly and wildly confront them without any loved ones to help cushion the certain to come hard falls?  Was Seneca correct in saying that “if we live in harmony with nature” all will be well?  What is their disposition?  Should we as parents attempt to make our children as we wish them to be or let stumble through life undirected?  Well, it is my opinion that there are plenty of children who absolutely want and need direction, and then there are those who will thrive without it because of their “predisposition.”

We are all fallible whether it be a parent, philosopher, Astrologer or physician.  I say physician because Seneca felt his stoic philosophy and insights had medical application to them as I do with my Astrological practice.  However, I can suggest my remedies to the client leaving the decision up to them, but the physician’s recommendations are more immediate and sobering, but from where does one reference any of these considerations?  It is where one can see where the dispositions reside, within the individual, within the stars because they live in one another.

One important detail is that the position of one’s Moon strongly suggests what type of employment one is best disposed towards.  The Moon in the 4th house strongly suggests people who work from their home or build homes for example (there are many more).

Of course it is important to follow the “progression” of one’s Moon throughout life just as throughout the day the “transiting” Moon moves through one’s Natal chart by degrees, signs and houses and we need to be adjusting to these changes.

There is nothing set in stone as to what one’s chart suggests but it is certainly a frame of reference as we go through life.  Like the other 9 planets we must see the delineation of  how the planets relate to one another and their placements, and for that I recommend a competent Astrologer to help you navigate all of the available Astrological information.

Looking at Joe Biden’s Astrological chart there are several points of concern but one of the major concerns is Biden’s Mars/Saturn Midpoint.  Mars (head) represents our energy and movement/locomotion, while Saturn rules bones and restriction.  Biden’s Solar Arc chart has SA Uranus exactly contacting this very important Midpoint.  Uranus represents sudden events, changes or disruptions, especially when it is exactly conjoined the Mars/Saturn Midpoint, which will be in play into 2024, election year.  To pile on, the SA Ascendant (physical body) is also contacting this Mars/Saturn Midpoint.  The Democrats would be wise to have several political candidates in the wings for this coming year.

For the last 3 years I have been prognosticating about Donald Trump’s health and I still hold to it because his physical appearance (sweating, slurring words and forgetting where he is) is rapidly deteriorating.  This man is going to blow a gasket soon, nothing that couldn’t be predicted with men of their advanced ages.  That’s just how it goes.  So regardless when one were to make a final bow, the odds are not good for either party.  These men are just too old to be heads of state, how did this happen?  Why did this happen?  The universe will correct any or all imbalances but at the expense of this country, a country that is already fractured and deliberately so.

I do not wish either future candidate ill will but it is clear that we are in a jam.

I have been doing a good amount of Astrological research (both mine and that of others) regarding a key indicator of one’s ability to absorb, react, and understand their environment.   There are many keys to use when looking for a person’s emotional and cognitive makeup.  Often, Astrologers initially look to the condition of Mercury in the natal chart for the cognitive consideration, and the Moon for the emotional.  The position, sign, house, and aspect measurements of these planets all need to be considered before attempting to make any conclusions.

I read some time ago an article by Noel Tyl that suggested the diurnal rotation of the Moon was a key indicator of an individual’s intellect.  This kind of statement can garner a great deal of surprise and consternation by those who have a “slower” diurnal Moon motion in their natal chart than that of a friend or colleague.  The article stated that those with a “fast” (14 degrees and above) “exhibited high -facility mental activity.” An article by Bob Makransky suggested that  the “average” speed of the Moon is 13 degrees 10 minutes, anything above this speed is considered above the norm.  But wait!  Before any of you go rushing to your computers to check your charts there are other considerations to “blend” with the Moon’s rotation.

First, please remember that in order to determine the speed of your natal Moon’s rotation understand that it is for the 24 hours of the day that you were born.  Example; if you were born on May 2nd you will want to track the degree and sign of the Moon from 12:00 am to 12 am the following midnight, or, a full 24 hours of that day, (e.g., if you were born at 8:12 pm on Tuesday you calculate to 8:12 pm on Wednesday) .  Then there are the ingredients of whether Mercury rises “before” or “after” the Sun has risen on that day as well as the speed of the Moon’s rotation.

The formula I was given reads as such:  A Moon rotating faster than the 13 degrees 10 minutes the individual or native is perceptive and  is considered “Alert.”  Below this, the individual’s perception is considered “Deliberate.”  The individual who has Mercury rising before the Sun is considered “Eager“, and if Mercury rises after the Sun then they are considered “Certain,” (there are other variables to consider and include in this type of delineation).  Well, you might say, what does that mean?  Good question, I was hoping you might ask!

The “Mental Chemistry” of these two planetary body combinations are looking for a ” healthy balance” of sorts.  Such as, if the Moon’s movement is above average, and Mercury rises after the Sun this is considered an “Alert and Certain” personality type, or rational certainty quick reactive impulses.  In contrast to this first type of personality, if the “deliberate” Moon (less than 13 degrees 10 minutes) is paired with a Mercury that rises before the Sun this combination is considered “Deliberate/Eager personality type, possessing compensatory flexibility and adaptability.”  Both these combinations are considered “balanced.”

In Mr. Mankransky’s article he gave the “Body Factor Type” table as such:  Fast Moon (moves more than 13 degrees and 10 minutes in 24 hrs) as Alert; (less than 13 degrees and 10 minutes in 24 hrs) Deliberate; Mercury rising before the Sun (earlier in the Zodiac) as Eager; Rises after the Sun (later in the Zodiac) as Certain.  So, the combinations can be Alert/Eager, or Alert/Certain.  The other two combinations can be Deliberate/Eager and Deliberate/Certain.  The considered balanced “types” were given in the above paragraph.

There is much, much more to this formula and the distinctions of Mercury and the Moon in their signs, and houses adds even more to this analysis.  However, for a better and more complete understanding of this formulation I direct you to the article written by Bob Maransky in the Mountain Astrologer’s 2001 August/September issue titled Mental Chemistry In the Birth Chart.  For those of you who wish to track down Noel Tyl’s article search for “Astrology Now” a magazine of which of which Noel was also the editor; I believe that this magazine is now defunct.

Mr Jordan has an Aries Moon, this is a planet that is Cardinal in nature (action oriented) or modality, and Fire (again action) by Element, suggesting a go getter whose most important thought is of himself.  His Moon is very probably in the third Decanate (of three) ruled by Jupiter (big things, expansiveness).  An Aries Moon is very much a me, me, me perspective, initially, (and that is only if other aspects confer) but the expansiveness of Jupiter will only collude with selfishness and kicking other to the curb figuratively if not literally.  It has been reported that Mr Jordan is in a less strong position now than Kevin McCarthy was earlier this year and is making many promises he cannot keep.  However, when your nature sees only who he sees in the mirror he is certain to be blackmailed in all ways and to his political demise.

It is only fair to give you Mr Jordan’s Sun sign, which is Aquarius, and is conjunct Mars in the sign of Aquarius (Uranus rules Aquarius), and ruled by Aries influencing both his Sun and Moon positions.  The Sun, Moon, and Mars are all aggressive by the Mars principle (aggression, fighting, argumentative and belligerence).  The planet Saturn is also conjunct the Sun and Mars suggesting an obstinance of high degree because Saturn will achieve and teach its lesson as it is restrictive, steady as she goes, while Mars/Aries want everything now often forgoing patience and wisdom.  Saturn will always overrule Mars and the Sun.

My point is, if Mr Jordan is elected speaker it will not last, he has painted himself into a corner and he doesn’t even see it because he wants what “he” wants, and he wants it now!

In Astrology there are four Elements represented in the Natal chart.  They are Water, Fire, Earth and Air.  Many times there can be a lack or over emphasis in one’s chart in one or more of these Elements.  This can highly influence how the person experiences and represents their life to the world.  Today I want to briefly discuss the lack, or over emphasis of the Water Element in the chart.

An imbalance of too little Water in one’s chart can suggest several distortions and how an individual represents this important Element.  There can be a wide variation of emotional, psychological and or physical manifestations.  Not having enough Water in one’s chart can represent someone who finds it difficult to empathize with emotional (Water) interactions or integration of understanding another person’s position in life such as someone who is homeless, understanding difficult life positions such as an emotional event such as a divorce or losing a loved one.  Emotional and psychological manifestations often will not allow the individual to identify emotionally with friends or family through withdrawal and lack of participation in communicating or receiving emotional in/output.

Having an over emphasis of Water in the chart can suggest a person who over sympathizes and becomes over emotional when presented with sensitive (Water) events.  There can also be the sense of being psychically cast adrift into the open ocean without direction, rudderless and feeling alone or as an outcast.  They can also be easily influenced by others, drawing them into events, relationships or ideation they normally would not identify with.  There can also be the sense of over identifying with extremely sensitive events exposing the psyche into a brutal unpreparedness of emotions to the extreme.  The sense of over exposure to difficult psychological/psychic events on a daily basis can leave this individual feeling overwhelmed by these emotions, ultimately leaving them worn out and unable to cope with the stresses of the outside and consequently their personal world.  Often, feeling the need to escape is prominent and should not be underestimated by the Astrologer and finally to the client/family.  Many times this aspect in the overall chart is missed, and the chance to intervene before addiction(s) become firmly actualized in the pre-teen or early adult.

These are just some of the basic principles of the Water Element and psychology of the Natal chart, having too much, or too little Water in the chart.  Depending upon how little or too much of the other Elements are in the chart will also color how the individual “feels” in their overall/immediate environment.  Of course the other Elements in combination with the natural Water houses (4th, 8th and 12th) and their planetary tenancy (if any) will also add to the chart’s Water synthesis and, the sense of over, or underexposure of Air (intellect), Fire (action), or Earth (feeling grounded) and how they may apply overall.  The Natal Chart is like a painting, applying and blending certain colors, textures, and depth to the entire portrait, bringing to life its overall and final presentation.

To some, this evaluation may seem too simplistic, however, the science of Astrology cannot be understood by taking large bites, but rather by taking smaller ones so that the competent Astrologer can, and should, be presented to the student or client.

For many of you reading this post you have a good foundation in Astrology.  So let me begin this discussion by talking about Saturn.  Saturn is the planet of seriousness, even so much so as to be considered a “wet blanket.”  Saturn is your organizational boss and depending which house Saturn resides this is where your instincts are formatted to obscurity.  The sign Saturn is placed also says much to how you react to those considerations.

Today I want to try and bring to light Saturn in the 1st house.  The 1st house is the mask you present to the outside world, not necessarily your true disposition but your societal inclination to others.  Depending on your Rising Sign, planets, if any, residing in the 1st house will absolutely influence how Saturn is deployed and also any aspects to said planets or Ascendant.  This suggests an array of possibilities but with a base in responsibility, organization, withdrawal and apprehension.

With Saturn in the 1st house your perspective on life, and intention, will strongly be considered as someone who is serious minded, not the life of the party, or a paragon of optimism.  If there is a hard aspect from Saturn to Mercury (or the Moon) there is a very good chance of depression and or isolation from the outside world.  Saturn is the “Teacher” in life and the only way to gather these experiences is to live life and learn from it.

So, if you know someone who meets this criteria please consider Saturn in the 1st house or Saturn as ruler of the Natal Chart.  If there is a person who was once happy go lucky and then changes suddenly their Natal Saturn may have been in the 12th house and “Progressed” to the 1st house, or, having Sagittarius Rising (Ascendant) Progressing to Capricorn (ruled by Saturn).  There are many possibilities regarding the serious minded party pooper but Saturn is quite probably the influencer.  Life is always changing and it can be seen in the Progressed chart.

In the future I’ll write about Saturn in the 2nd house and the other houses, but for now  give some thought to the depressed person or individual who is less than enthusiastic about a sunny beach day with friends and family.  There is a good Astrological/Psychological reason for this perspective.

I do not have the birth time for MTG’s birth chart, however, I do have her birth date.  MTG has been in the news since “before” she became a member of the U.S. Congress.  Most people who recognize her name are aware of her opinions and beliefs.  I do not believe that anyone should be judged on their personal beliefs but then shouldn’t this be a two way street?

MTG has a very telling measurement in her birth chart regardless of what time she was born, and this is called a T-Square.  In this measurement, two planets are Square (90 degrees, think obstacles) to a third planet, the Apex planet (the engineer).  The two planets who Square the Apex planet are opposite one another (180 degrees, think obstacles).  Look at it this way, it is comparable to a three legged chair (unbalanced), and it is the missing leg (planet, sign and house) that drags on the disharmony or lack of balance within this measurement but needs to be restored.

So, as previously mentioned, this T-Square consists of at least three planets and the Apex planet is the conductor of this group of three (the agitator).  Marjorie’s T-Square consists of Venus, Mars and Uranus, all in Cardinal (action) signs.  The “open” or “missing leg is in Capricorn (testing, structure) but since I do not have a birth time I cannot know which house this missing leg falls in.  I have a pretty good sense but I would be speculating, however science needs exact information for completion and proper delineation.

Venus (sensitivity) Square Mars (action) suggests martial action lacking pleasantness, or affection within relationships.  The other planet Square Mars is Uranus (suddenness, unpredictability), and the two planets opposite one another are Uranus and Venus.  Venus is in Aries (aggressiveness, and action), Mars is in Cancer (home and one’s emotions), and Uranus is in Libra (fairness, and balance).  All three of these planets offer positive and negative attributes, but the negative actions are enhanced by the mere configuration of this T-Square measurement.

Cardinal Apex Mars suggests  a strong willed individual with an intensified drive to act independently (sound familiar).  Apex Mars suggests head strong urges and an aggressive personality, and because of the sign it is in (Cancer) this position leans towards an individual who is territorial regardless of their particular location.  This person can become the subject of controversy and heated arguments.  When a person with this construct is opposed by others, this individual reacts in a sharp manner, often with outbursts of verbal assault and vitriol.  Apex Mars Square Uranus often results in physical (most often head) injury due to the explosiveness of this planetary combination.

MTG is certainly a divisive and argumentative person who is in the correct place to affect political and legislative change but needs a calm demeanor with insight.  I do not know if these qualities are available to Marjorie but I haven’t seen any measure of them to this point.  Problem is that Marjorie is the type of person others will use to further their agenda and then disregard a “battering ram” like she has done.  I could very well see Marjorie getting into a physical dispute ending with gun play.

Astrology offers a great deal of individual information, and it has been an enormous fund of knowledge for me personally.  So, when I became aware of Marjorie I immediately sought her birth information and was not at all surprised by this configuration.  Knowing this, I came to terms that Marjorie is not going to change.  Especially with her unspected (peregrine) Jupiter (expansiveness) in Pisces (clarity or lack of) suggesting a single minded drive to her beliefs and idealism.  I would guess that her Natal Jupiter is in the ninth house (politics), suggesting an enormous effort to project her religious, political and personal beliefs regardless of what they might be.  Good luck MTG.

The chart of Donald has been wrestling with either Transiting or Solar Arc measurements (SA) with Pluto and or Saturn, two planets that promise change and transformation.  Transiting Pluto was exactly opposite Natal Saturn in January of 2020 (the violent collision of political and moral values).  In fact, Pluto moved through this aspect for the most of 2020.

Then, Transiting Saturn was opposite Natal Pluto for much of 2021.  These positions are almost always hard and stressful to any individual experiencing these particular measurements.  And then, after suffering these two planetary collisions over a two year period The Donald is now, and has been experiencing Solar Arc (SA) Pluto in hard aspect to Natal Saturn.  The aspect is exact right now, and culminating in the almost immeasurable beat down when not adjusting to life circumstances.

I have been writing about the physical stress of these two planets in DT’s chart for some time now, and I have to admit that Donald Trump’s stamina is remarkable.  Like a boxer being pummeled, he should already have gone down, but this is inevitable, the man cannot take this beating for another year or two.  Solar Arc measurements last approximately for three years and The Donald is only into his first year with SA Pluto preceded by Transiting Saturn’s heavy opposition.  Add to this that SA Mars is in hard aspect to Natal Pluto as well, part of a one-two punch, a very hard one-two punch.

SA Uranus has been hanging on Donald’s Ascendant and will Transit his Midheaven at the end of 2024, first part of 2025.  Transiting Saturn will turn Retrograde again and weigh on  his Ascendant at the end of this year.  These aspects are not unusual in an individual’s Natal chart individually, but Saturn, Pluto, Mars all participating together is remarkable.   And very soon SA Neptune will conjoin Donald’s Moon!  When the Angular houses are affected (which they are or recently have been) you can be certain that change has come home to roost, especially when one isn’t willing to change or see the error of one’s ways.

The string of lawsuit losses, political ruin, business damages, marital discord, are all worthy of a Humpty Dumpty fall.  Too many fractures to put back together again.  DT’s chart is a classic lesson of prediction and perdition, all openly available to see if you looked at his Natal chart anytime before his crash.  Astrological application was clear and concise for this downfall of a King (Leo Rising).  Take heed, take warning because we all have difficult measurements waiting for us down the road, both good and difficult.

Donald Trump is swaying in the wind, leaning against the ropes and looking for a soft spot to land.  I wish him a not too hard landing because it will be difficult for him to get back up.
