Silver polishing cloth

Silver polishing cloth is a piece of cotton cloth impregnated with silver polish and anti-tarnish agent to clean tarnish off silver and protect against tarnishing. To me, it’s good enough to clean off tarnish. The cloth remains effective as long as they are not washed. If you wash them, you wash away the chemicals impregnated into the cloth to clean the tarnish as well. All you need to do is to use the cloth to rub on your jewellery to clean them and you will see the tarnish coming off onto the piece of cloth. I'm not sure if I managed to capture them sucessfully in pictures but the left one is after cleaning with the cloth and the one on the right was how it was when covered in tarnish. These are silver polishing cloth made in the UK from 100% cotton. The cotton cloth is much thicker than the ones made in China. Each piece measures 12cm X 9cm for RM5.00. However, I’m offering them at RM4 with any purchase of Wendy Sue jewelleries.

This I find is the essence of simplicity but with the charm of feminity. Well, if that makes any sense to you at all…..lol. ;) Made from very organic shaped fresh water pearls in Café Latte, a milky brown colour. Noticed how each pearl bead is very organically shaped without any defined structure? Isn’t that how we, women sometimes are too? :) Each pearl bead measures approximately 5 to 6mm. The dainty cross pendant at the centre of the necklace is wire wrapped using gold plated wires with 4mm White Swarovski crystal pearl. I call this the lucky set. A lucky feather charm for good luck. :) The necklace is made from gold plated wires and Clear Quartz gemstone chips with a cluster feather lucky charm as pendant. The pendant cluster consists of a lucky feather charm, freshwater pearls, 6mm Swarovski crystal in Silver Shade and 4mm Swarovski crystal in Golden Shadow, 6mm and 4mm Swarovski crystal pearl in Bronze and finally, nickel free gold chains to give it that extra edge. The cluster pendant is replicated for the pair of matching earrings. Bracelet is a bangle bracelet made from only Clear Quarts gemstone chips and rings of gold plated wires strung onto a memory wire. The two ends of the memory wire is closed with a jump ring to make it into a bracelet. I just love how the richness in colour of the gold plated wires complement the simplicity and clarity of the Clear Quarts and so would you!

Aquathyst. I love how that word sounds. Sounds like the name of a new found rare gem, does’t it? ;) Aquathyst is made from Aquamarine and Amethyst gemstone chips. Necklace is made in a choker style to show off the centrepiece dangle. The centrepiece dangles of Aquamarine and Amethyst gemstone chips is highlighted by the Crystal AB rhinestone spacer. Earrings are made with clusters of the chips at the top with two strands of drop dangles. Bracelet is made edgier with sections of the gemstone chips fragmented by coils of silver plated jump rings. Very edgy indeed.

The Princess Diary is made from opal gemstone chips and 6mm Swarovski crystal pearl in Lt. Grey. A silver plated flower spacer hangs from the centre of the necklace as the pendant with a 11mm Swarovski teardrop bead dangle in Crystal AB. Earrings are a simple pair of stud earrings from 6mm Swarovski crystal pearl in Lt. Grey with a 11mm Swarovski teardrop bead in Crystal AB to match the necklace Bracelet is made using opal gemstone chips and 6mm Swarovski crystal pearl in Lt. Grey. I added hand formed silver plated jump rings between the sections of the bracelet to give it that extra edge. All made from silver plated wires and findings. Simple yet luxurious to fit a princess !

I simply love the rich colours of Agatha! Made from Orange Agate and Green Aventurine gemstone chips as well as 4mm faux pearls in Copper and matched with copper coloured findings, Agatha is bound to make a bold statement. Necklace is a short lariat which ends at one end with a beaded bead from Green Aventurine gemstone chips. This works beautifully as a pendant when the lariat is worn. Comes with the necklace is a complimentary pair of matching earrings. Earrings also feature drops of beaded bead from Green Aventurine gemstone chips. Bracelet is also made in a bolder design from beaded beads from Orange Agate and Green Aventurine gemstone chips strung onto a bracelet memory wire for the flexibility of size. The thing about remakes

This is something that I find I need to explain. Basically, only one piece is made for each design. Remakes are available BUT subjected to the availability of raw materials. I do not stock too much on the raw materials. So, any request for remakes may or may not require me to source the materials from the supplier. If the supplier has run out of the materials needed, then remake of the exact piece would not be possible. Bear in mind also that some of the bead supplies are also 'seasonal' where even my supplier do not restock them after the stock runs out. So, securing the requisite materials can't be guaranteed. Therefore, if you like my work, I would really like to encourage you to join our mailing list by entering your email address on the right sidebar to avoid dissapointment. First come, first serve. :) No worries, you can always contact us to opt out from our notification any time. ;)

A very fun loving piece I made for that carefree bubbly girl in mind. :) Made using cherry red round flat glass beads and nickel free gold tone chain. I wanted this piece to be a fun piece but still girlish nonetheless. Nothing too serious. ;) Which explains for the use of heart motifs in this set. Both the necklace and bracelets has a Swarovski crystal heart pendant in Rose as its charm, accompanied by clusters of faux pearl in Rosaline and Coral Red, glass beads and Swarovski crystal bicone beads in Rose and Padparadscha (phew! That’s a mouthful!). Earrings are made from clusters of 4mm Czech firepolished glass beads, Swarovski crystals and faux pearl.

Rimba II

This is another version of the Rimba necklace which I did earlier on. Rimba means forest in the Malay language and in the true spirit of Rimba, the central theme is still one on nature, represented by the antique brass flower and leaf charm. Clusters of 4mm and 6mm faux pearls in Bronze and Dark Gold hanging from the antique brass chain at one side of the necklace just like how wild fruits hanging from the branches of trees in the forest. The bracelet is also created based on the same principle and finally, the earrings are in cluster style of faux beads, Swarovski crystals and antique brass flower chatm. If you love nature, you’ll love Rimba II. :)

The central theme for the design for Beatrice is double strand, as you can see, both the necklace and bracelet. Each corner of the centrepiece necklace is accented with 6mm rhinestone rondelles. Both the necklace and bracelet consist of one strand of chainmaille in barrel weave with pearl and another strand of pearl drops. The design for Beatrice is further accentuated by the pearl clasp.The pearl I used here is a mix of button and potato shape freshwater pearls in Lavender. Sizes for the pearl vary between 4 to 5mm., made with silver plated wires and jump rings. Earrings on the other hand is a simple cluster pearl earrings.

I’m a big fan of Kpop and I follow the latest news and gossip of Hallyu. That’s Korean’s answer to Hollywood, in case you’re wondering ;) One of the anticipated comeback artist of the year is Uhm Jung Hwa, known as the Madonna of Korea. Anyway, her first single was Disco and I totally dig that song! Love it! Very retro-ish with a catchy chorus. You can check out the video of this song below. So, now you know how this piece was inspired. I used a very colourful palette of 4mm Swarovski crystals to represent, what I think, would be in the spirit of disco. Blue Zircon, Capri Blue, Rose, Peridot, Rose Alabaster, Tanzanite all jumbled up to come up with this kaleidoscope of disco ball charm. You gotta love ‘em D-D-D-D-I-S-S-S-SC-O! ;) Necklace is made from two disco ball charms which end with tassels of 4mm Swarovski crystal bicone beads in Capri Blue. Earrings is just a simple disco ball charm drop earrings.

Frozen is a pair of wire wrapped chandelier earrings. The tear shape frame of the earrings is wire wrapped with silver plated wires with Clear Quartz and Aquamarine gemstone chips and three 6mm Swarovski crystal bicones in Aquamarine as the focal. Together, these beads look like frozen bits of ice and hence the name. Three 11mm Swarovski crystals teardrop beads in Aquamarine dangles from the three point of the earrings base. The colour palette for this set gave me a feel of enchantment, a secret garden when pixies and tooth fairy alike held their afternoon tea party. I used freshwater pearls with Swarovski crystals in Rosaline, Chrysolite, Silk, Lt. Peach and White Opal with silver plated wires and chain. The necklace is a simple chain necklace with freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals fringes as its centrepiece. Earrings on the other hand is a simple linear drop earrings and bracelet is a silver plated hand woven cuff bracelet using 101 pieces of beads.

Rimba

Rimba means forest in the Malay language and I named this piece of necklace Rimba due to the colour I had chosen for this necklace. Inspired by the lusciousness of the forest,I used Czech fire-polished glass beads in differing shades of green, just like the forest trees, coupled with hues of dark gold and bronze of faux pearls, just like the shades of tree barks and the fruits growing in the wild. With more than 60 beads used in the size of 4mm and 6mm, this is one for the nature lover! Measures: 17 ½” + 2” extension = 19 ½ “
