Rory Scovel appeared on NBC Jimmy Fallon show 4 days ago. He has opened for Daniel Tosh, Louis C.K., and Nick Swardson. He will be at ATHENAS in Asheville North Carolina this Wednesday Nov 17th @ 8pm. No Cover for this comedy show, but people should get there by 7pm to guarantee a seat.

Athena's family moved to AVL when she was 6 years old. She grew up in the area and has been on the Asheville bar scene for about 10 years now. She started years ago at College Street Pub and has evolved into a local bar and nightclub business owner in the community. Athena was featured and has been titled in the top 3 bartenders at Asheville Bar Wars at Wild Wing Cafe for 2 years. She has been a bartender at Northside Grill, Patton Ave Pub, Corner Pocket, and the Whiskey Tavern. Athena says that she loves Asheville because "the people are awesome and there is something for everyone... it makes up the great community we live in."

Athena's is more than excited to host the Drum Circle After Party for the next 3 weeks. This event will happen on Friday evenings beginning on October 1st and it will begin at 9pm, just about when the Drum Circle ends. We will be introducing a new cocktail called the "Drum Circle" to kick off the evening. If you are in the Asheville area and you are looking for a good time of drumming, music, dancing, drinks, friends, and fun; we invite you to come be a part of this.

We are a locally owned nightclub in Asheville with modern decor. We have a pool table and VIP area; we offer dancing, drink specials, great bartenders, and lots of people from all walks of life. We have been open for 3 years and we are open 7 days a week from 7pm - 2am. We love hosting birthdays, receptions, Christmas parties etc. We would love to host your event!
