Hamilton is returning to Atlanta’s Fox Theatre in 2026!
The shows will take place from September 2 to 20, 2026. 

The performances with the most number of seats available are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. And if you look later in the run, you’ll have more choice. (Season subscribers tend to go early in a show’s run.)

Here’s everything you need to know about getting Hamilton tickets, avoiding ticket reseller prices, and playing the Ham4Ham ticket lottery to score $10 seats — details below!

Hamilton at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta

There will be 24 Hamilton shows over this 3-week run, including both evening shows and weekend matinees.

Tickets are available by visiting FoxTheatre.org/Hamilton.

You can CLICK HERE to see a list of show dates that tells you how many seats remain for each performance. (The Fox has roughly 4,600 seats!)

You can shop for tickets either by seating section or by price.

HINT: If really want a good view of the stage, consider shopping for single seats that have been left stranded as the seats around them were snapped up. You can still go to the show with a friend, you just won’t be sitting next to each other.

Ticket prices for Hamilton‘s 2026 run

It’s amazing how much prices have dropped since Hamilton first played in Atlanta in 2019!

You can now get a premium seat for about the same price you would have paid for a mediocre seat back then.

Prices range from $50 for a handful of seats with a limited view to $200 for premium seats — and this includes the hefty fees.
Most seats will have a price somewhere between that.
Back in 2019, premium seats were close to $800 once some pretty large fees were added.

There will also be a ticket lottery for forty (40) $10 seats for all performances.
See our section below on how to play the lottery, and how to maximize your chances of winning.

Student Rush Tickets

In addition to lottery tickets, Broadway in Atlanta will also offer special $36 Student Rush Tickets for Hamilton.

To try for Rush Tickets, college students need to come to the Fox Theatre Box Office two hours prior to each performance — with a valid student ID.
There are both evening and matinee performances, depending on the day of the week. 

The Student Rush Ticket price will be valid for all performances with a two-ticket limit per student ID.
Student Rush Tickets are subject to availability and will be sold from best available, which may include limited view locations.
HINT: CLICK HERE to see how many seats are left for each performance, and try for Student Rush tickets on a date with the widest availability.
 

The Hamilton ticket lottery

The Ham4Ham ticket lottery opens on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 10 a.m. and closes on Thursday, Aug. 27th for tickets for the first week of performances. 

THEN, subsequent digital lotteries will run every Friday thru Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances. 

See our tips below, for maximizing your chances of winning!

The Ham4Ham lottery is open to anyone over 18.
Winners are allowed to purchase up to two tickets for just $10 each.
That’s where the name comes from — you hand over a Hamilton (a ten-dollar bill) for a Hamilton ticket.

There are 40 seats per show reserved for lottery winners.
(You decide when you enter whether to claim one or two tickets. Assuming everyone will choose two tickets, there will only be 20 winners for each lottery.)

The procedure for the lottery has changed in recent years.
You can now enter for every performance in a week all at once, instead of having to return every day to enter for one show at a time.

If you win the ticket lottery, you’ll be notified via email and/or push notifications from the app.
Notifications go out every Thursday between 1 and 3 p.m. 
You have two hours to claim your tickets and pay for them. Again, you can claim up to two tickets at $10 each.

You’ll pick up your tickets at Will Call on the day of the show.
Note that you must have a valid, non-expired photo ID that matches the name you used to enter — and your tickets are non-transferable. You can not sell them.

There are a few ways to enter the lottery:
• Enter through the official Hamilton app (available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store)
• Enter online through a browser at hamiltonmusical.com/lottery
• Enter via Lucky Seat (www.luckyseat.com — then pick Atlanta)

Summary: How to enter the lottery

• Use one of the entry methods listed above.
• The lottery will open at 10:00 AM every Friday and will close for entry at 12:00 PM the next Thursday prior to the following week’s performances.
• Winner notifications will be sent between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM every Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances via email and mobile push notification. Winners will have two hours to claim and pay for their ticket(s).
• No purchase or payment necessary to enter or participate.
• Each winning entrant may purchase up to two (2) tickets.
• Only one entry per person. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded.
• Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning 2 hours prior to the performance with a valid photo ID.
• Lottery tickets are void if resold.
• All times listed are in the local Atlanta time zone.

Tips for winning the Ham4Ham ticket lottery

Don’t throw away your shot!
We recommend doing everything possible to maximize your chance of winning the daily ticket lottery.

Here are our tips:

• Enter for every performance without fail. In the words of Hamilton, You don’t get a win unless you play in the game.
• Get the Hamilton phone app — and enable notifications. You’ll get a reminder when the lottery opens (see mobile screenshot, below).
• Stop what you’re doing when you get the reminder. Just enter the lottery, before it slips your mind.
• Pay attention to your email and the phone app on Thursday afterbiibs — if you win, you’ll be notified between noon and 3 p.m. and you have to claim your tickets immediately.
• Don’t forget about the matinees. On Saturdays and Sundays, there are two shows — and you may have to enter each one separately.
• Make a pact with a pal.  You each enter every lottery for two tickets, and you take each other to the show if one of you wins. In the words of Burr, Grab a friend, that’s your second.

The Hamilton movie is streaming on Disney Plus

If you haven’t yet streamed the Hamifilm, this is a budget-friendly way to see the show.
The Hamilton movie was shot during the original Broadway run with the original cast, but skipped the theaters and went right to Disney+. It has been available since July 3, 2020.

Decatur Amplified is a brand new, FREE concert series in Decatur. 
It brings great local music to the newly renovated stage in downtown Decatur on fourth Fridays, from August to October. 

While the concert dates were announced on Facebook, there is no information anywhere about what time the concerts start.
Our best guess is 7 p.m, but we’ll have to wait for the organizers to clarify that detail. 

The new stage at the Decatur Square is located directly next to the Decatur MARTA Station, so it’s easy to get to. You can leave your car at any of the train stations with free parking and ride a few stops. (Parking is notoriously difficult in downtown Decatur.)

Come early and grab dinner or drinks at one of the restaurants or taverns surrounding the Square.

The city of Doraville will present three summer movies in 2026. You don’t have to register in advance. Just bring your blanket, low chairs, snacks, and beverages to Honeysuckle Park.

No alcohol is allowed.
In past years, there has been food trucks and activities at 7 or so, before the movie starts at dusk.
We don’t have these details for 2026, because the city is notoriously bad at communicating key info.

These events rotate among the Gwinnett parks, and are designed as drive-thru events.
The food will be placed in your car for you. 

No identification is required. 
Each event begins at 3 p.m. 

Fresh produce and shelf-stable foods are provided at these events. 

Supplies are given away on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. 
Keep in mind that cars may begin lining up early.

Events take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the month, April to October, in The Plaza, which is the green space at Colony Square.

You don’t need a ticket or reservation, and you don’t have to attend the entire event.

Smyrna Food Truck Tuesdays is back for the 2026 season. The events take place at Taylor-Brawner Park between 5 and 9 p.m. on Tuesday nights, from May 5 to September 22. 

The food trucks will set up in the lower parking spaces, adjacent to the playground and amphitheater.

The food line-up features a selection of both the savory and the sweet, as well as live music.

There is limited parking at the park, but after 5 p.m. visitors can park at The Reed House and South State Bank. There is also parking at Smyrna Presbyterian Church.

Dragon Con is back for 2026!
The five-day convention and parade have been an annual Labor Day Weekend tradition in Atlanta since 1987 (including that awful summer of 2020, when it was reinvented as a virtual event). 

Dragon Con 2026 runs from September 3 to 7, with events spread out over downtown Atlanta.

It wouldn’t be Labor Day Weekend without the throngs of costumed visitors wandering around downtown Atlanta. The spectacle of cosplayer showcasing their favorite superheroes and sci-fi characters parading down Peach`tree Street has attracted over 75,000 spectators in the past.

The Dragon Con parade is FREE to attend and open to the public.
It happens this year on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 10 a.m., although the crowds will begin gathering and staking out their spots by 7 a.m. or even earlier.

Bring the kids, put on your own costumes, and watch elaborate cosplayers march through downtown Atlanta.

Parade route (see also the map below)

• The parade kicks off at the corner of Peachtree Street and Linden Avenue.
• It will proceed south on Peachtree all the way to to Andrew Young International Blvd.
• It will turn left onto Andrew Young International Blvd and one block to Peachtree Center Avenue, where it will turn left again.
• The parade will then proceed a block and a half northward to end in front of the Marriott Marquis Hotel.

TIP: If you really can’t handle the parade crowds, just head downtown anytime from Friday through Sunday. Take MARTA to Peachtree Center Station, then just wander around the area. You’ll see plenty of elaborate costumes. Or check out the lobbies of these downtown hotels: Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Hilton Atlanta, Sheraton Atlanta, and Westin Peachtree Plaza.

Purchase a wristband for unlimited rides for $30.

The iconic Atlanta Quilt Festival opens on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Southwest Arts Center and runs through September 5th. 
It’s now in its 18th year, and it just keeps getting bigger and better. 

The quilt and textile art exhibit is completely FREE and open to the public, and it’s well worth the drive. There is so much beauty and history on display.

The Atlanta Quilt Festival is dedicated to preserving and promotion African American quilting and other textile arts. The heart of the festival is the juried exhibit, which has grown to over 100 quilts on display. 

You’ll have a chance to view the work of professional textile artists, as well as work by beginners who are showcasing their art for the first time. 

Genres range from traditional art to modern art. 

And if you’d like to learn more about the fiber arts, you can sign up for one of the classes, lectures, or trunk shows that are offered for a fee. Classes include quilting, paper piecing, hand applique, silk painting, patchwork, and more.

The juried quilt exhibit runs from August 1 to September 5, 2026.

A Labor Day Weekend tradition!
Art in the Park returns to the Marietta Square in 2026.

The fine arts festival will run from Saturday, Sept. 5 to Monday, Sept. 7, 2026. 
Admission is FREE.

The festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The events take place in and around Glover Park, on the historic Marietta Square.

In addition to the artist booths, you’ll find many family-friendly activities, as well as food and entertainment.

Dogs are allowed, but not encouraged, due to crowds and hot weather.

The Artist Market

Art in the Park is a fun and interactive way to experience a wide variety of artists working in many media.

This year, the festival will feature more than 150 artists with offerings in watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, pottery, woodworking, glass, photography, textiles, and jewelry in fine metals and precious stones.

At the Artist Market, you can purchase art and learn about it in person with the artists. Some will even offer demonstrations for a real behind-the-scenes look at the artistic process.

All items on display and for sale must be hand-crafted by the artist and categorized as a “fine art.” This is Cobb County’s only fine art show.

Chalk Spot

Visit this charming street chalk art display!
Or, if you’d like to participate, you can create a original design in a three foot-square space. Chalk is provided. The art will remain on display throughout the festival — as long as it doesn’t rain!

In past years, it has cost $10 to receive your chalk and a square to draw in. We’ll update for 2022 when more info is available — or you can watch the Chalk Spot web page for updates.

Children’s Art Area

This area features FREE kids art activities, for those who don’t want to pay for street chalking. The Interactive Art Area is located next to the Strand Theatre on Cherokee Street. There will also be a number of activities such as face painting and sand art that will require a small fee. Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Food

There are many restaurants on the Marietta Square that will be serving both indoors and on the patio.

Entertainment

Visit the Glover Park gazebo for live acoustic music.

Advance tickets for House in the Park Music Festival are just $25. 
If there are still tickets left on the day of the event, they will be $30 at the gate. 

One child up to 10 years old can get in FREE with each adult ticket purchased — but you must reserve the free ticket when you buy your own. Every person needs a ticket.

Alpharetta’s Food Truck Alley will be back for the 2026 season! These food truck rallies feature live music each month and are FREE to attend — just bring your wallet for food and drink.

The events take place on fourth Thursdays of each month, from April through October.

The food trucks will be on site in downtown Alpharetta from 5 to 9 p.m. with live music starting at 6 p.m.

Each month’s lineup will feature up to 10 food trucks.

This is a family-friendly event, but you’ll have to leave the pets at home.

FREE drive-thru pet food pantry for Dekalb County residents, monthly on 4th Fridays!

Dekalb County is offering FREE pet food to residents in need. If you’re experiencing a hardship that makes it difficult for you to care for your dog or cat, this event is for you.

The Pet Food Pantry is held on the fourth Friday of each month, from noon to 2 p.m.
There is a list of upcoming dates below, so you can set a calendar reminder.

This is a first-come, first-served event, while supplies last.
You do not need to register in advance — just show up.
The event is held rain or shine.

The free pet food is for Dekalb County residents only, and you may be asked to show proof of residency. Please bring an ID or utility bill with you.

The events are held at Dekalb County Animal Services (DCAS), located at:
3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road
Chamblee, GA 30341

When you arrive, stay in your car and follow the line.
There will be Lifeline Animal Project volunteers and staff on site to direct traffic and hand out supplies.

It’s not clear if walk-ups will be accommodated, but we’re working to find that out!
The location is a fairly easy walk from the Chamblee MARTA Station.

This event is funded by Dekalb County.
The county shelter is in crisis mode from overcrowded conditions, and the Pet Food Pantry is an effort to assist pet owners who might otherwise be faced with surrendering their beloved pets.

If you’d like to donate pet food to help your neighbors in need, you can drop it off at DeKalb County Animal Services in Chamblee.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 11am to 7pm, and  Saturday/Sunday, 11am to 6pm.

The 2026 Norcross Summer Concert series takes place in Thrasher Park, in downtown Norcross, once again this year. The full musical line-up is listed below.

Enjoy the sweet sounds of summer in this FREE concert series, happening on select Friday nights from May through August. The events will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Bring your own food, or grab a to-go order from one of the many local restaurants in the downtown Norcross business district. You can bring a chair or blanket, and coolers are okay — just no glass containers, please!

About the venue

Thrasher Park is a two-acre green space adjacent to the historic downtown Norcross business district.

The park is small, but packed with amenities — including an amphitheater with performance stage, a large playground, picnic pavilion, picnic tables, gazebo, and restrooms. It is an easy walk to the Norcross restaurants around the square.

There is a small parking lot next to the park, and street parking nearby in the downtown area.

In 2026, the town of Acworth will host a series of Classic Car Cruises at Logan Farm Park.
There will be three events, in May, August, and October. 

The events take place from 2 to 7 p.m. on the dates listed below.
They are FREE to attend as a spectator. 
And if you want to display your classic car, you don’t need to register in advance — just show up and make a $5 donation. 

The car show features everything from Chevy Chevelles to Model T Fords.
Over 200 automobiles will be on display. 

Admission:
No charge to attend for the general public
$5 charity donation to enter a car in the cruise
All proceeds go to Horizon Field, the all inclusive special needs sports facility in Acworth.

It takes place at Town Center Park in downtown Suwanee — located at the intersection of Buford Hwy and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. 

Festival attendees will get to sip and stroll around the park while enjoying unlimited samples of delicious wines, hand-selected by local wine experts from TopShelf Beverage.

The festival features over 150 wines from all over the world, plus a Georgia winery section where local wineries offer tastings of their favorites.

The Suwanee Wine Festival also will have live music, a market with local vendors and artists, food trucks, and more!
The non-wine fans get to enjoy ready-to-drink cocktails, seltzers, and beer.

The National College Football Hall of Fame – ticket discounts and FREE admission days

The College Football Hall of Fame includes must-see interactive exhibits with content personalized to over 770 teams, historical artifacts, a three-story helmet wall, and the inspirational rotunda that memorializes college football legends.

Visitors of all ages enjoy the running through the Peach Bowl Skill Zone, kicking a field goal, and throwing on the 45-yard indoor playing field.

The Fans’ Game Day exhibit celebrates the pageantry, passion, and traditions of the game. Visitors can sing fight songs and share screen time with sportscasters at the interactive ESPN College GameDay Desk.

It’s the spookiest time of the year, and with that comes the resurrection of Haunted Hall of Fame.

Parking info

Note that parking prices can fluctuate wildly in downtown Atlanta, rising dramatically when there are special events going on. It’s a supply-and-demand thing.

On regular days, you can park in the Green Deck, on the corner of Baker St and Marietta St. for these rates:

• Free for up to 20 minutes
• $15 up to 3 hours
• $1 each additional hour thereafter

Getting there on MARTA

The Hall of Fame is a mere 6-minute walk from the MARTA Station known as Dome/GA World Congress Center/Phillips Arena/CNN Center Station. What were they thinking of when they named that thing?

The Dome Station (for short) is on the Blue and Green Lines.
You can take an Blue or Green train to the Dome MARTA Station, and then exit by following signs for State Farm Arena. You’ll go up the escalators to the street, turn left onto Centennial Olympic Park Drive, left on Marietta St, and you’re there.

We recommend the MARTA app for your mobile phone to find train schedules. And Google Maps does a great job of helping you get somewhere via the train — just switch the directions from driving to transit (it will automatically include the walking steps, turn by turn).

MARTA also has a convenient online guide for getting to the Football Hall of Fame.

The Kennesaw Concert Series is back for the 2026 season!

The FREE concerts take place at the amphitheater at Depot Park, in downtown Kennesaw.
They are scheduled for select Saturday nights from 7 to 10 p.m.
The schedule is just below.

Families are invited to bring blankets or low-back chairs to enjoy the show.
You can stake out your spot with your chairs after 7 a.m. on concert day, according to a Facebook post. 
No tents, canopies, or umbrellas that can restrict the view for others. 

Food and beverages are available for purchase, or you can bring a picnic meal.
No coolers larger than 20 quarts allowed.
