Welcome to Atomic-Scope and our Flagship Product: The BizTalk Message Archiving Pipeline Component

Posted by Nick Heppleston, Wednesday 16th September 2009 at 21:25

In this, the first post from Atomic-Scope, I'm pleased to announce the general availability of our flagship product - version 1.0 of the BizTalk Message Archiving Pipeline Component. The component can be used in both Receive and Send pipelines to to archive messages to a local folder, UNC share or mapped network drive as they pass through a BizTalk environment. Additionally, the archive directory and filename can be created at runtime based on message Context-Property values, ensuring meaningful and unique archive locations.

We have received some excellent feedback from the community during our beta release, squashing bugs and adding a several new features not present in the Codeplex release, including: the ability to enable and disable the component at run-time; the promotion of the archive filename into the message context; options to toggle immediate archiving to disk, or stream-based archiving; support for EDI, delimited & positional flat-files formats; and finally support for WCF adapter context properties.

A free 30-day trial of the component can be downloaded from our website now and is backed by our business-class Enterprise Support Agreement. You can also read more about Atomic-Scope and see how we are supported by the Microsoft BizSpark Programme.

I'll post more information on the component over the coming weeks, but to wet your appetite, below is a short video giving an overview of the component's functionality:

Why not download the component now and try it out for yourself?

Enjoy, Nick.
