This environmental plan concerns the Yellow Sea region of the world, surrounding the coasts of China, Korea, and Japan. As a Japanese manufacturer, this area directly affects the company. Panasonic has also been a corporate supporter of the WWF, as they have a history of responsible and environmentally conscious business practices. The surrounding Yellow Sea has played and continues to play a huge role in the coastal life of eastern Asia. This area holds the world's most impressive continental shelf and is home to an extremely diverse array of sealife. Because of this, the WWF has stated this region as one to be conserved with high priority. For thousands of years, the people living near this region has so heavily depended on its resources. It is extremely important that this region remains intact and untouched by harmful hands. Hopefully, this region will continue to flourish as a result of this 7-year plan.

Verizon Launches Samsung u550

The long wait is over as Verizon unveils its latest mobile phone from their fold: the Samsung u550. The Samsung u550 is a mid-range clamshell built for fashion and function. It's elegant flip design is one of Samsung's best as far as clamshell phones are concerned. Features, both basic and advanced, are quite user-friendly. The Samsung u550 is a great phone overall. But one major flaw would be its web connection. It is not as slow as a snail trying to cross a highway, but it would have been better if it was bit speedier. But even with that kind of mishap, the Samsung u550 will predictably revel in its domination over other mid-class mobile phones.
As for customizing, Verizon offers a wide range of Samsung cell phone accessories such as cell phone batteries and cell phone antenna. Speaking of which, it reveals that more and more people prefer mobile phones slash music and video player. Who doesn’t? Being able to turn you mobile phone to the ultimate companion during those long boring moments is one good thing. Twisting it to become the meanest sound wave conjurer is a better thing. But you need to have the right gadget to do so. Juggling two or more phones is an obvious hassle. But during the course of time, along with communications technology breakthroughs, we have now what we call the smart phone. However, choosing the right smart phone that perfectly meshes with your lifestyle and can keep up with our varying pace is quite tricky, so to speak. Honestly, there is no 100% guarantee that you will pick up the perfect smart phone for you. There is always something better out there. Always.
But if perfection is not on your list and you prefer ultimate function instead, then I suggest the HTC S621 for Cellular One. Of course, there are smart phones which are way better in every aspect, but the HTC S621 is not far behind. Aside from decent performances on all its features, the HTC S621 also had a sleek design. Cell phone accessories for the HTC S621 are widely distributed so you won't have any problems getting cell phone cases and cell phone covers, and the likes.
Cellualr One offers the HTC S621 for as low as $279.95. The Kyocera K126c is now ready for distribution but dates as to its launch is still to be announced. The 8700 is similar to almost all Blackberry's in layout and function but differs in the overall look and feel. The BlackBerry 8700 is very sleek and has a great visual appearance with a very similar user interface. The 8700 comes featured with bluetooth compatibilities which is something of an industry standard these days.

The phone itself is great and works extremly well as a Blackerry. I had no real complaints on any of the functions or features, the phone was never marketed like the Pearl so I didn't expect Pearl features. On the contrary, it boasts of a very user-friendly interface. Aside from that, the Kyocera Cyclops is loaded with other functions that are pretty much useful to the ordinary folk.

Being Virgin Mobile's first camera phone, the Kyocera Cyclops needed to qualm a lot of pressure from mobile phone critics and from the consumers as well. The photo quality is pretty much decent, you can say something bad about it, nor does it deserves accolades. 'Just right' would be the better term. Apart from the picture grade, the Kyocera Cyclops performance as a mobile phone is great, if not astounding. The design is nice from afar and up close and personal. Probably the reason why many users of this phone opt not to replace it some customized cell phone cases and cell phone covers. Another good thing is its bright display. 65k may be small but it is still readable. Voice quality on the phone is good. Signal reception is notable as well as the battery life. No need to buy some spares for cell phone batteries and cell phone antenna.
The bad thing about the Cyclops would be the poor voice quality of its speakerphone. I did have my share of signal nightmares where I have to get to the roof in order for me to catch some reception.
Sure, I miss my L6. Along with the low-end price are features that are quite impressive for a small unit but useful at the same time. The outer casing of the 3220 sports a funky, sporty theme. Definitely not the kind of phone business executives would want to carry around. But it appeals to the young people of the market.
With an assortment of customized cell phone cases, cell phone covers, and other Nokia accessories, the 3220 is pretty much a fashionable mobile phone. But though the 3220 seems to be a youngster's mobile phone of choice, the features are also worth noting. The display is pretty much impressive. The picture quality is acceptable. Voice quality for phone calls is decent. Phone conversations with the 3220 are not that bad.
As for flaws, I am pretty sure there some but who cares? As far as music is concerned, the Apple iPod has been very remarkably consistent on being the best portable music player. The fusion between Motorola and Apple to produce a very notable music phone is most likely a take on Sony Ericsson and Walkman's domination on that category.
But whether Motorola and Apple succeed or not, the Motorola ROKR E1 surely rocks! The Sony Ericsson Z310 was not designed for upper echelons of the consumer strata, but it sure does work like a high end mobile phone.

The Sony Ericsson is one of those mobile phones that use VGA cameras. In addition to that, the Sony Ericsson Z310 takes high quality photo for a VGA camera. Apart from that, the Z310 also has a wide solid range of features that would put other mobile phones within its price range to shame. The design is also something worth noting. For a clamshell, the Sony Ericsson is a beauty. No need to get those customized cell phone covers and other cell phone accessories for the looks overhaul. Although the plastic feel makes the Z310 seem cheap, the overall performance compensates entirely for that. And speaking of performance, the talk time max for this phone is a whooping 7 hours. No need to get spare cell phone batteries.
Is there a mobile phone out there that can top that?

HTC 4300

CelluarOne's HTC 4300 is a great addition to their current lineup. The HTC smartphone that utilizes a full Qwerty keyboard and is also based off of the popular Windows Mobile 5 OS. The HTC 4300 is very similar to the MDA, in fact I think they're based off of the same platform, but none the less the HTC 4300 is quite the looker. For a phone that houses such features such as web browsing, picture messaging, memory card expansion slot, wifi, bluetooth, and a video recorder you would expect to be lugging around a computer. That's not the case with the HTC 4300 since it is complied nicely into a sleek and subtle phone. The HTC 4300 is currently available for about $479 from Cellular one of San Luis Obispo and for what you get with the phone, I would recommend this unit to any smart phone fanatic that uses CellularOne.

Virgin Mobile to offer IPO.

Virgin Mobile, in a move to strut their status, has filled for an IPO which will take the company public and launch its shares for the public to trade. It's no surprise to anyone that Virgin Mobile is a highly successful virtual operator over here in the states, so this move only shows us the level on which this company has grown. Virgin Mobile will be listed under "VM" respectively and it has been predicted that they will generate an estimated $100 million with their entrance into the marketplace. Sprint / Nextel, the carrier representative for their American branch, will probably receive a nice amount of that $100 million, but we all know that when one gets a large sum of cash debt is the first place we go. One of the things I noticed right away is how much nicer this phone feels in your hand. The old phone had that aluminum backing - which was actually a little slippery and caused me to drop the phone a few times. The new phone has a sculpted backing and is all plastic and that plastic actually seems to stick to my hand better - without feeling sticky at all. I love being able to install apps directly on my phone - without them all being web-based. Anxious for the coming months to see more apps added all the time. Contrary to what many others say - the keyless keyboard is the best. I love that the iphone has very few external buttons - all my old phones over time just had buttons break off or fail to work properly - not with the iphone - its sleek and is just awesome! There are also some iphone 3g accessories to accommodate the protection of the cell phone or improve it.

Cellular One/Dobson to be acquired by AT&T

AT&T had recently announced their plans to acquire small-time competitor Dobson Communications, which competes with AT&T in 16 different states nationwide. The acquisition of Dobson will allow AT&T to further strengthen and broaden its networks, taking advantage of areas where Dobson's network was once dominant to AT&T's. This will allow AT&T to extend its service and products, such as the iPhone, to areas like Alaska that couldn't once access these products before. Undoubtedly, the Sony Ericsson brand has firmly cemented itself as a leader in that particular area, especially with the tie-up of the Walkman brand. AT&T knows that they have music lovers in their demographics. That's why AT&T has included in their list the Sony Ericsson W300i Walkman.
The Sony Ericsson W300i Walkman is a great phone for a clamshell. Its unique flip look alone sets this SE mobile phone apart from the other clamshells from the market. Although one may have a hard time customizing this phone with cell phone accessories, the overall performance of this phone will definitely compensate for it.
As a music phone, the Sony Ericsson W300i Walkman can represent. The Blackberry Pearl in itself, is a phone that has been designed for those of us who want more "looks" and features for our Blackberries. The Pearl includes a nice camera, which is a first for blackberries, a removable MicroSd memory card slot, bluetooth technology, and a built in music player. One of the most notable changes would be the replacement of the Track Wheel with a Pearl like track ball located in the center of the phone. While this may hard for current Blackberry users to get used to, rest assured that navigation throughout the phone is not compromised with the addition of the track ball and it's actually a nice little addition.

The Blackberry Pearl is a GSM based phone, so do expect it to be released for various other GSM carriers such as T-Mobile, At&t , and Suncom and also expect the 8100 Pearl to have a large selection of accessories readily available at AccessoryGeeks.com.

Behold! the bat phone; the Dark Knight-inspired Nokia 6205

Do you remember the Iron Man phone, or perhaps the ultra-cool Star Wars phone that was released much earlier? Well, here comes another one of them - the Nokia 6205 which lives and breathe everything about Batman, the Dark Knight. We’re referring of course to the second film in the new Batman revival series which is slated for release on July 18. The Nokia 6205 bat phone will be available as early as Sunday exclusively on Verizon’s online store.

Just like the superhero icon that the 6205 is promoting who doesn’t have that many superpowers, this phone doesn’t promise any usual features either. Except of course the special promotional stuff such as Dark Knight inspired emblem, wallpapers, voices tones, animated screensavers and of course a full movie trailer.

Feature-wise, the 6205 boasts of a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash and 4x digital zoom, 58MB of internal memory that can be expanded up to an additional 4GB via a microSD memory card, support for Verizon’s Get It Now features for downloading games, ringtones, wallpapers and other mobile content, compatibility with VZ Navigator, mobile web access for latest news, sports, weather and more, voice dialing and voice commands, Bluetooth and built-in speakerphone.

The 6205 bat phone will be available for $69.99 and will come with a new two-year service agreement. If you’re a big Dark Knight fanboy, you would definitely not want to pass up on this one. But if you’re just a casual mobile phone user, you’d be better off keeping your $69.99 and walk away not obliged to enter into another two-year service agreement with Verizon just to get this piece of toy.

All credits and information was found by gadgetell.

Spb Backup 2.0 Released, Smartphone Version Included

"Spb Software House, the leading Windows Mobile applications vendor, releases Spb Backup 2.0 — a tool for making reserve copies of personal data and system settings for Windows Mobile phones. Spb Backup safeguards from data loss, eliminates the pain of reinstalling applications after a hard reset, a ROM or device upgrade, and delivers a flawless restore experience. The choice of ASUS and Gigabyte, Spb Backup became the best-sold backup utility for Pocket PC in 2007. The new Spb Backup 2.0 is smarter, twice as fast, and makes moving data between Windows Mobile phones as easy as unpacking an archive. Spb Backup 2.0 will come to the rescue if a hard reset disaster strikes, or if the device is stolen or lost. Spb Backup Sync makes it easy to keep a recent copy of all data and system settings at a secure desktop PC location. Spb Backup 2.0 will restore from the archive, even if data has to be moved to a new device or ROM. The backing up process itself is so easy, that regular backups will become second nature. Spb Backup 2.0 works for both Pocket PCs and Smartphones and copies the entire device, including contacts, sms, emails, storage card files, and even preferences and shortcuts."
Device and ROM upgrade modes, sync support, an unpack tool, a file blacklist, a Smartphone (Windows Mobile Standard) version, and a new look? With their huge assortment of impressive and high quality mobile phones and mobile phone accessories, you might get dazed and perplexed as to which mobile suits you and your way of life. And if that happens to you, then allow me to make a suggestion: the LG Shine.
The LG KE970, otherwise known as the LG Shine, is one of LG's best mobile phones yet. Parading a nicely designed outer shell, there is absolutely no need to get those customized cell phone cases and cell phone covers. The stock housing in silver finish is already cool. The features are the LG Shine's crowd teaser and pleaser at the same time. LG Shine's basic and advanced functions are easy to use and perform exceptionally well. Paired off with the compatible mix of LG cell phone accessories, the results are really awesome.
But all that said, prepare to cash in as mush as $250. The LG Shine, unfortunately, does not come cheap.

Sony Ericsson Walkman W580i in Pink

If the pink fever in you has not subsided yet, the perhaps now is the best time to get pinkier. AT&T now markets the pink edition of the Sony Ericsson Walkman W580i. This sliding music phone is deemed by critics and consumers alike as one of the best music phones ever released into the market. And now, the Sony Ericsson Walkman W580i just got a bit cuter with pink cell phone cases as their marketing stunt.
I am not really into pink and personally, I never like the color. Probably a gutsy move from Sony Ericsson, but share reports say that they are doing well with the sales. After all, beneath the pink case are the features most users would like to have these days. The Sony Ericsson Walkman W580i has a 2 mega pixel camera, an MP3 player, a great display screen, and a lot more.
Cell phone accessories for the Sony Ericsson Walkman W580i are widely distributed so you could easily take out the pinkiness if ever you grow tired of it.

Samsung A737 for AT&T

Samsung has really started the trend in ultra thin slider phones lately. Samsung have launch a very impressive line-up of slide phones, but still managed to unleash some so-so mobiles. Samsung A737 definitely not on the so-so list.
The Samsung A737 is more than a slide phone. The design is very much striking. Though it has copied heavily from its predecessors, the A737 still have some edge of its own when it comes to the image projection. The exterior details are crafted with some classic flavor. The feel of the phone when it rests in your palm is not the cheap, plastic feeling you get from most cell phone cases and cell phone covers. Aside from the full range features the Samsung A737 offers, the easy-to-use navigational controls are definitely plus factors. The bad thing about this phone is its poor photo quality, no flash, and a lagging 3G connection.
Overall, the Samsung A737 would have been a good phone if it weren't for some flaws, but who doesn't have them? Anyway, there's nothing a good set of cell phone accessories couldn't fix. Improve the phone's looks and performance with original Samsung cell phone accessories. It is worth it.
