ISLAMISATION OF ENGLAND.

Go back 20 years and there were no Sharia Courts operating in England. The massive rise in Muslim immigration into this country has seen a corresponding rise in the influence and political pressure that Muslims can exert on the judiciary and the ruling elite, too often keen to appease rather than protect. Under the 1996 Arbitration Act MATs (Muslim Arbitration Tribunals), which were formed in 2007, can operate and deal with matters of a personal and financial nature and it's rulings are final. These 'Tribunals' operate under a quasi legal system...Imams are called judges and the tribunals are called courts...but the rulings are based upon a religious code and therein the problems begin to arise. The basis of justice in this country is that all are equal and are treated as such. A system of English justice that has been refined over 1600 years 'till we arrive at the present, not perfect, but basically fair system of administering due process. The writ of Habeas Corpus, enshrined within Magna Carta in 1215, still the backbone of our legal system and a protection against the powerful. That we've allowed, through appeasement, a two tier system to emerge in England gives credence to the claims of Islamisation. The granting of the right of MATs to adjudicate on domestic violence crimes, a criminal offence in England the last time I looked, gives a massive indication of the road that is being followed by successive weak governments. That evidence supplied by a woman in Shariah cases is afforded only half the weight of the evidence of men also shows the deep misogyny that infiltrates Muslim life and the blatant unfairness of these courts. That this misogynistic system has the right to dispense justice on forced marriages, surely the most ludicrous manifestation of this culture, is a truly shocking indictment of our surrender to this alien ideology. Sharia Courts can now apply to have their decisions rubber stamped by a Civil Court giving them an authenticity and veneer of respectability they do not deserve. The battles and sacrifices the English have gone through over 1600 years, to arrive at a secular state, free of interference by the Church, only to be surrendered without a whimper to a deeply flawed structure, makes one weep at both why governments allow it and we accept it ! This system is far too heavily weighted in favour of men for it to ever be seen as a equitable. From divorce procedures to child custody, it's flaws are far ranging and beyond the scope of this particular rant. It also is unique in that it draws together the left and right wing...for different reasons some might say...but it still draws both sides of the spectrum together. By 2030 it is estimated (underestimated most would say !) that there will be over 5.5 MILLION Muslims in Britain with the corresponding rise in influence and power and, if not checked, a matching in the number of MATs to deal with this rise. There should be one law for all dwellers in this country. Free from the superstition that religion inevitably brings. Men and women treated equally and fairly. This is not the case with Sharia and the government should send a clear message that this will not be tolerated.

And then we have Halal ! How did England arrive at a situation where Halal meat is served to us on a regular basis, in our favourite western supermarkets, in our fast food chains, in the restaurants we frequent, in schools to our children ? That most frozen meat we buy from New Zealand is Halal and is not marked is a truly scandalous situation. The EU and successive governments refuses to pass a law requiring this meat to be labelled as it might damage the market for this type of produce. The market for this produce WANTS damaging.

So we have Sharia Law and Halal meat. Perfect manifestations of the creeping Islamisation of England yet the left are in denial and throw the same tired, worn clichés around at all who complain. Will we rebel ? No sign so far save for EDL marches at regular occasions. This fightback must begin to show signs of impetus at the ballot box for no government of any persuasion will be moved by marches or petitions. Join a political party TODAY...I'm an English Democrat, but ANY party other than the Big Three or the Greens...and work towards giving the same old tired politicians a scare they will remember. Before you eat out, ASK where their meat comes from. Phone your school for assurances on the sourcing of the produce YOUR child eats. Go to the major supermarkets and ASK ! It works believe me. A single voice can become thousands and THEN they'll listen ! Ask your local Indian Takeaway about their produce (never use them myself but the apoplexy they have when you phone before ordering is worth the admission price !). And guys...give up those greasy kebabs which ARE Halal ???....as I thought...that's a step TOO far 'aint it ?

Ruminating on the debacle that Sky have got themselves involved in regarding the 'LineswomanGate' scandal. It appears that all contentious issues that the PC brigade expound on have to have a 'Gate' somewhere in the title. Sky did an interview with Jon Gaunt and an Asian character by the name of Piara Powar, head of "Football Against Racism in Europe" ?? who continued with this line of 'What they said is unacceptable in a modern country...yadda yadda'. One of those professional opinionators who seem to prowl around TV studios all too willing to proffer their opinion on this wicked, hateful society we live in, their opinions gobbled up by news hungry studios all determined to be seen as on the right side. Let's be clear...Andy Gray comes across as a knowledgeable football pundit but a deficient human being and an unedifying man. A man for whom the phrase 'grow up' could have been specifically written. Misogyny seems to thread itself through and around him and his lifestyle. As a proud father of a daughter, the idea that her sex should get in the way of her achieving her ambitions is abhorrent. But the PC brigade have won. Now if you utter a single word or phrase that the likes of Mr Powar don't agree with, it can get you fined, sacked, and in the worst cases, imprisoned ! Yet still they're not happy, for these words were not uttered in public, but in a private conversation between two men that was secretly recorded. Not happy with controlling what you SAY they now want to make punishable what you THINK ! For all their bombast the two men involved are not stupid which was shown in their on-air interviews with the lineswoman involved. They were courteous and respectful. A woman, incidentally, who has now found herself embroiled in a controversy that she doesn't deserve or warrant.
And still the hyperbole continues with that champion of women's rights Rio Ferdinand...yes THAT Rio Ferdinand...now Tweeting away his disgust at these two men. I really DID choke when I read his protestations. And Sepp Blatter...yes THAT Sepp Blatter...the Sepp Blatter that advised women who wanted to improve the profile of women's soccer to wear tighter shorts!...voicing his disgust at these two reprobates. And then there's News International. The sanctimony emanating from Murdoch Towers would also resonate a bit more if it wasn't the purveyor of such newspaper titles as The Sun and The News of the World, both of which rely upon young women shaking various parts of their anatomy at us from various angles and in various states of undress. That men think certain sports are male dominated is true. Men invented the sports. We wrote the rules. Women will never be equal with men at a vast majority of professional sports played today. The physical differences between us will always stop that despite all protestations to the contrary. Men do view women differently. Equal but different. Because we are different.That men look at women and think naughty thoughts is not new. We do it ladies. We look at you legs when you walk in front of us. Your perfume DOES work it's magic. We do get light headed when you come close by. We're MEN. We're supposed to ! Now there is a world of difference between THINKING these thoughts and ACTING on them. To have uttered the rubbish that Gray and Keys did to this woman's face would be unacceptable. To have said these things between themselves is not...it's still rubbish, but it's freedom of speech ! I read this phrase today..."One key principle of civilised life as we know it has been overlooked in the sacking of the Sky football presenter Andy Gray: namely that we should never be punished for our private thoughts or private speech" Have we really lost the plot so much in our dealings with each other that this state of affairs should be allowed to continue ? The equality Laws have worked and now your sex doesn't stop you from achieving your dreams. Can the law now work so that individuals can think private thoughts and have private conversations without being held to account for every utterance ?

THE ENGLISH DEMOCRATS AND THE BNP SUPPORTER CONUNDRUM.

Get quite amused by the snooty attitude displayed by people who look down their noses at BNP supporters and shout unclean at them as if they’re medieval lepers. The BNP was formed over 30 years ago when there was no party that took seriously the massive changes that were being forced on us by mass immigration and the strain it was putting on civic cohesion and the public services of this nation. So we arrive at the 21st century and find to our dismay that this attitude of the Big Three continues, with record immigration taking place over the last decade, and not one of those three prepared to make the decisive changes to our immigration policy that might stem this seemingly endless tide that floods in from the Commonwealth, Europe and beyond. Despite promises made by ALL parties prior to the election, we all know it’s just to get your vote. Oh they know only too well the feelings of the vast majority of English people , but choose to ignore it or just plain lie, and the electorate, too stupid or gullible or polarised or apathetic, choose to stay away from the polls to show their disgust at a deeply flawed political elite who have succeeded in dumbing down those voters and installing such an aura of disgust with politics that they refuse to engage at all in the political system. This elite of British politics have infected the whole political system and the damage they have done seems irreparable. So these BNP voters turned to the only organised party that seemed offer them some hope. There was nobody else. Are they all racist ?..of course not. Trying to protect your culture doesn’t make you that. But after 30 years it’s obvious that the breakthrough so long predicted by the BNP and their supporters is not going to happen. For sure they occupy a couple of seats at the EU table but they have been isolated, marginalised and unable to influence any policy within it. For parties to influence British Politics you must gain Commons seats, a target for UKIP, BNP and us and one that we all have been spectacularly unsuccessful at ! The problem that both UKIP and the BNP have is the baggage they bring with them and their inability to accept the changing face of Britain that has occurred since devolution and the Scotland Act. UKIP is seen as the EU sceptic wing of the Tory party and will never cross that divide between Tory and Labour. The BNP will always be tarnished with the racist blood that infects it with their present leader Mr Griffin. He is inseparable from them and part of their DNA. Then there’s us. We attempt to cross that divide between different ideologies. To find common ground between the left and the right. Are we after the BNP vote ? A resounding YES from me. Like we are after the disaffected Tory, Labour and Liberal vote. Amazing that Margaret Hodge specifically, and on record, says that she is attempting to win back those that voted for the BNP in her constituency, but when another party intimates the same thing double standards apply ! The truth of the matter is we do offer a practical solution to our immigration problem that is accepted by all our members, white and black, left or right. That we should welcome ex-BNP supporters over to us I also have no doubt about. If they truly have had an epiphany and accept the reality of Britain today, why not ? To cast people out and turn your back on those people whose alternative would be to carry on voting in the same misguided way would be a mistake of monumental proportion. Confucious said ‘Only the wisest and stupidest of men never change’…Something we would do well to remember.

SO YOU WANNA' TALK ABOUT BIGOTRY DO YA ?

Where do we start. Baroness Warsi, another Asian British Muslim, is in the news today complaining of bigotry aimed at the Muslim community. If you really want to talk of bigotry love let's discuss the blatant, overt bigotry that is aimed everyday at Anglo-Saxon Englisc people shall we? Let's be clear...Asians, Africans and Muslims have played NO PART in the formation of this great nation of England. Black men did not stand at Senlac and view the Normans. Stories are not told of heroic achievements by ethnics on the battlefields of Agincourt or Crecy. There were not hordes of Muslims behind Wat Tyler when he marched on London. It wasn't some medieval Nelson Mandela that forced King John to sign Magna Carta. Henry Vlll didn't shack up with some brown skinned broad from Asia. Drake never called upon West Indians to repel the Armada. Beckett wasn't hacked to death under a minaret. Nelson didn't call upon a 'brother' to kiss him. The laws of this land were formed by the struggle of white Anglo-Saxon Englisc with an incalculable amount of influence by the Christian church. And we arrive at the 21st C and the English identity is expunged from the census form as irrelevant, rather like our race. Treated as second class citizens in our own land, but forced to listen to the interminable whining of every ethnic group about the terrible way they are treated in MY ENGLAND. That's bigotry! We open our doors too freely to the rabble of the world when we have enough of our own rabble to contend with. Full of rights but not full of responsibility. Let's be clear you cannot be black or brown and be English. English is an ethnicity. Just the same as you cannot be a white Ugandan or a white Indian. Don't bleat to me of racism. If you view the English becoming a minority in England by 2066 as an abomination then you are a Nationalist not a racist. There I said it. Don't kid yourselves anymore. Don't be frightened of protecting your culture for to lose it would be the crime. It's time we stopped fooling ourselves now. I don't care if the threat of suffocation of our race and nationality comes from Asia, Africa or Eastern Europe, the effect it has would be the same and that is to drown English culture or seek to dilute it to such an extent that it becomes indistinguishable. I'm not racist against another colour or race, for we all have our own country and culture that deserves the same protection, but Nationalistic and protective of my race against everyone who poses a threat to my national identity and culture, and the biggest threat at the moment is from Islam. It's an alien culture who's presence and influence has been accepted unchallenged for too long and it's about time that changed. What you are seeing Baroness is that being challenged by the English who appear to have had enough of the hypocrisy. Not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslim and it's about time you accepted that. Start behaving in a civilised manner befitting of the 21st C and don't seek to send my England back to the dark ages with your religion's ridiculous dress code, genital mutilation of young girls and treatment of women. If you can't, stop the self pity, and leave us to it. We managed for 1600 years before you came to our shores and we sure as hell can last another 1600 years without you !!

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE ?

In 1997 the voters of this land gave their response to the mismanagement of this country by a discredited Tory party and on a wave of euphoria voted in the fresh faced, dynamic New Labour under the then leadership of Tony Blair. 11 years later, Blair is forced out of office by a Scottish led cabal eyeing up the prize of running England so they can continue their destruction of the English identity and race whilst leaving their own identity intact. Blair’s Cabinet, which included Brown, Darling and the Milband brothers, had taken us into several wars with the subsequent loss of hundreds of British soldiers and thousands of foreign civilians and protagonists. At the head of this cabal was a deeply flawed politician, Gordon Brown, whose previous disastrous stewardship of the economy was now becoming apparent. He hands the reins to another Scotsman by the name of Alistair Darling who, with senior ministers around him including Ed Miliband, continued on this course of destruction and massive overspending, like a teenager with a credit card. So two years later and in the midst of a financial crisis of monumental proportions, in a large part bought on by the lax regulation of the financial sector by an inept Labour government, but supported enthusiastically by the Tory opposition, we arrive at a new election and the people of this nation vote to impose upon itself the same failed party and ideology that they had rejected 13 years previously.

But not quite. With a Cameron led Tory party, the lines between the both major protagonists is so blurred as to be all but indistinguishable despite the posturing and faux hooting across the floor of the commons. So a Tory party that should have waltzed into Downing Street has to cobble together a coalition with the Liberal Democrats. These Liberals, often derided as a posturing party sneering at all from the sidelines, maintaining that they would not surrender their principles for a glimpse of the highest prize. A Dowager Duchess of a party remembering their not so glorious past through rose coloured spectacles. But they had their principles didn’t they ? Ah but like all principles that our politicians hold they can be bought if the price is right. The promise of power was too great. The chance to enjoy the trappings and the chauffeur driven limousines…to attend the parties…to meet with the not so great and not so good…to be invited to Celebrity dancing competitions…but most of all to do what is their raison d’etre…to tie this country ever tighter to the web of deceit, lies and anti-democratic behaviour that is the EU. No wonder a sigh of relief went up in Brussels as they heard that their biggest friends could put off dissent. So we had the unedifying spectacle of Menzies Campbell saying on national television and without shame that the Coalition has agreed that Europe will NOT be an issue in the lifetime of this parliament.

None of the main parties escaped the embarrassment of the expenses scandal, which even drew in the leaders of the Big Three. Criminal charges were bought against members of the Labour party. Imprisonment for one with surely more to follow. Peers caught fiddling in that undemocratic affront to our country the Lords, with the consequence of them being suspended. Today another half a dozen MPs have been reported. And so it goes. We then get a chance to show this disgusting bunch of reprobates what we think of them. Surely they will be given their answer ? Surely the English Democrats, UKIP and the BNP can muster enough support to give these scoundrels a bloody nose ? Alas no. When the votes are counted on another cold night in Oldham we must stand there and watch as another smug Labour apparatchik lauds a ‘great victory’ with the congratulations of Miliband ringing in her ears. The fact that she achieved less than 20% of the electorate’s trust, is somehow that endorsement, is seen by them as a victory for democracy, and ‘the voters of Oldham have sent a sound rebuke of the coalition policies’! Beyond parody. Beyond satire. Beyond belief. I received an E-mail from a UKIP friend thankful that his party had saved their deposit. Another from a BNP friend stunned that their vote had fallen. And to us. We had a great candidate. A man with a trade Union background. A local man. A man with so much energy and a supportive family and deeply committed friends who would get out there. And they did, leafleting and protesting. Denied entry to the Hustings he stood outside with a loud hailer demanding to be heard. Nobody could have tried harder. But he hadn’t reckoned on the tribal-ness of politics or, let’s be honest, the stupidity of voters in this dumbed down, celebrity obsessed society. That we did so bad is not a reflection of him. That denial of an equal measure of publicity from the media played a massive part. Funding came into it for even the bottomless pit of money that UKIP can draw on, and don’t forget they received a £5 million boost just prior to this election, just saved them their deposit. The huge number of activists that the BNP can muster counted for little. We failed. The message is not getting across and if it is it doesn’t seem to be of sufficient concern to English people to make them change their voting patterns. You speak to people and they agree with you on the issues. Most, even today, are unaware of devolved issues and their impact upon English voters, but when this impact is explained their incredulity turns to anger. Our stance on Europe gets overwhelming support. Our call for an end to mass immigration is enthusiastically received. It’s not about personalities of certain individuals. It’s us as a party. Deeply depressing week that has knocked me for six. Quite how UKIP responds after nearly 20 years of being a political party, and the BNP even longer, I don’t know ? Where WE go from here I don’t know, and it may be that time will take away this humiliation, for that’s what it was make no mistake. I have my own views on the road we should take. But that’s for another time.

Heroism and the death of a soldier.

I learnt of the death of a young soldier today. His parents live in the next village and he was killed in an explosion in Afghanistan. It got me thinking about that terribly overused word 'Heroism'. Reading the weekend's newspapers, evidently Hull's players were heroic in defence against Arsenal. And Peter André is heroic in facing his split with Jordan. Has it really come to this in our country ? That we are so in hock to celebrity culture that we really think of these people as heroic ? No words I can say can ease the pain that this boy's parents are suffering. We all search for words, at times like this, to offer solace and all fail miserably. Some words that we think will cut through the agony and resonate with them. To say we sympathise is not enough. To say we empathise is not enough. Platitudes that fail on every level. That such pain should be faced by such a lovely family, by such a devoted couple with such a strong family bond, is heartbreaking in the true sense of the word. In modern England, that our young men and women, with all the comforts, distractions and suffocating cosseting that they endure in civilian life, are prepared to enlist and put their lives on the line to protect us, overwhelms me. Now is not the time for the anger I feel at our politicians. They are not worthy of the mention. As someone deeply affected by loss himself, I know there are no words. They are in my thoughts and will remain there. Your son WAS a hero. The old fashioned type. A true man in every sense of the word. Rupert Brooke wrote ' And think, this heart, all evil shed away, a pulse in the eternal mind, no less, Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given, Her sights and sounds; Dreams happy as her day; And laughter; Learnt of friends; and gentleness, in hearts a peace, under an English heaven'. This young man will come home to his loved ones. Not for him some corner of a foreign field. Wootton Bassett wil do us proud again, but the terrible grief will continue for his family. We owe them and him so much. A sacrifice that will never be forgotten.

Musings from Suffolk.

Woke this morning with bright sunlight penetrating through the bedroom window and a garden free from the ravages of frost. Not for me anymore the early morning winter training that I did as a younger man, when the cold meant little and would certainly not stop the Spartan in me. These days, the allure of a warm bed and duvet soon divert the mind to cups of tea and the Telegraph. But with sunshine and Spring the excuses come less easily and when one makes the effort, the reward of the endorphin buzz of a strenuous workout at least gives the impression of staving off Father Time for a few hours. Then to Norwich. The ancient City of Norwich was Anglo-Saxon and originally supposed to have been three separate settlements that joined together somewhere around the mid 7th century. Until the Norman Conquest, Norwich was one of the largest cities in England and it is a City I have come to have a deep affection for. To wander around Tombland, the Ancient Anglo Saxon market place, and Elm Hill is a constant delight for every turn seems to invoke the sense of history that I crave, with a strong sense of my Englishness, my culture, constantly reaffirmed. A feeling that this 'is mine'...my country that generations of my family have fought to build. Today I wandered up Princes Street, took short cuts through vaulted arches at Elm Hill and finally crossed Tombland and entered, through a high, Norman arch, into what is known as The Close. It's strange that a modern city like this can have a place of such tranquil beauty but as soon as you enter The Close the traffic noise seems to disappear and calmness descends. It's a large grassed area with benches scattered around and a meandering path that leads to the Cathedral. Statues of Nelson, a Norfolk man, and Wellington, definitely NOT a Norfolk man, and some modern works are placed at intervals. I entered the Cathedral where, some years ago, I watched Hamlet performed here, actually in the Cathedral itself, and memories of that were with me as I strolled along the Cloisters with the sound of the Boy's Choir with me, to emerge once again into the sunshine and sit on a bench and absorb the beauty of an English Spring day, with the trappings of my history around me. Don't let anyone dare tell me that we English don't exist. That all this is to be ethnically cleansed from history to suit the self serving Newspeakers. That Year Zero is now and is for the good...of who ?? I won't allow it. We won't allow it. The English are awakening and their voices will drown you out. It's ours and we will stop you. That's an English Promise !

Harriet Harridan...equality & immigration.

Harriet Harman !!...The name almost induces one to reach for the pills or wish for the sanctuary of narcolepsy. As I write this she revels in her element, this being International Women's Day, and too fine an opportunity to miss out on displaying her interminable witterings on 'equality' and 'diversity' and 'inclusivity'...the three terms seemingly inseparable in the Liberal Left's 'melange de choses dignes' that they continue to proffer up to the voting public, as if it's the most pressing point on their mind at the moment, rather than the struggle to find work, pay the morgage, put food on the table for their children etc. A recent report in The Guardian highlighted the detrimental effect high immigration has upon the lower paid in this country. Mass immigration has always been a useful tool for various administrations both to exploit the immigrants whilst at the same time subjugating the indigenous people, and the recent scandal of the proven 'social engineering' policies that Labour have been responsible for over the last decade, proves what most of us have known for years...that mass immigration is not there to serve and improve our country, rather a tool to bring about the destruction of the English identity and race. The recent exposure of Phil Woollas, Immigration Minister, and the inept goings on in the department he is supposed to run, only adds to the sense of despair that there is ANY minister prepared to be honest with the public on immigration. As Cameron desperately tries to 'out-socialise' the socialists, and Nick Clegg, all brow-furrowing earnestness, pathetically tries to come over as a serious politician rather than the frightened little boy he really is, one wonders if any party is serious about true equality for their people, or is content to use them as a tool in their secret plans to homogenise us into one huge melting pot of mediocrity, blandness, obedience, sameness and monotonousness no matter what the cost to our society.

Multiculturalism and the Liberal Left !!

I recently paid a visit to Bradwell-on-Sea in Essex to view what is recognised as the oldest Anglo Saxon church in England. Founded by St.Cedd in 654 AD, St. Peter-on-the-Wall is an unremarkable building in many ways. None of the soaring vaults that we associate with Norman architecture, with ornately carved windows. St. Peters was built in simpler times of worship and the building reflects that, and but for it's age, would be largely forgotten. But it's remarkable for it's a manifestation of how Anglo Saxon culture and Christianity has formed the very nature of our England. For me, as someone who is not particularly religious but has a great love of history, it's impossible to divorce the two, for the Church has been involved in every facet of our culture and has helped shape our society to what it was. I say 'was' with good reason for now we come to 'Multiculturalism and the Liberal left' !! the title of this rant ! 'Multiculturalism' that scourge of a word that I have detested from when the Liberal Left first coined it some thirty years ago. For the proponents of 'MC' (the word is far too long and pretentious to keep spelling in full) are not really that at all, for the culture they detest and despise and the one that is to be forgotten, cleansed from history and particularly England, is the very culture that has built this wonderful country of ours and is the bedrock of 'Englishness'. That culture is Anglo Saxon and the Liberal left view that as elitist and is, therefore, to be expunged from our culture. A famous historian recently stated that English history really started in 1707 with the Act of Union and, rather than being laughed at as one would normally do to such a preposterous statement, the learned Liberals nod their heads in agreement, eager to rid our nation of any sense of identity and condemn us to the MC Nirvana they have planned for us. If only the English would greet dignitaries as the Maoris do by sticking out their tongues, or squat semi-naked in a desert blowing a Didgeredoo, then the Liberal left would laud us. But no. Anglo Saxon culture is used by them as a pejorative term. Something to be ashamed of. Read of any decade in our wonderful history and try to avoid the influence of religion in that decade and therefore our culture ! So Christianity is ridiculed whilst other religions are fawned over, even to the extent that the Archbishop of Canterbury, the eyebrowed, appeasing buffoon so loved by the Liberal Left, denigrates the very religion he is supposed to champion ! And it's ridiculed because to do so aids the left in their attempts to ridicule our Englishness. Solzhenitsyn wrote 'To destroy a people you must first sever their roots'. Well our roots are in Anglo saxon culture and Christianity. Secularism is the way forward for any modern society, but I for one love the sense of history I find in the pomp of religious occasions ,from the simple baptism to the Crowning of a new Head of State. The Church of England, separated from Rome under Henry VIII, defines the English character and the blood, sweat and suffering that the English have suffered over centuries to achieve the society we have today. I for one will fight to keep that sense of identity from the traitors of the Liberal Left.

After the terrible events that occurred in Mumbai the difference between their politicians and ours is stark. Two senior ministers resign as a matter of conscience. Over here they lie, thieve and cheat...are packed off to Strasbourg on an enormous salary for a few years and are then bought back into Government, at ministerial level, and given a seat in the House of Lords...and they wonder why we think they are a bunch of cheating polecats....why do we put up with it ???

The apotheosis of Barack Obama continues at breakneck speed. A vision of him hanging limply from a cross, Messiah like, at the end of his term, a martyr to Camelot and the Kennedy tradition, a tradition that has no basis in truth or fact will , I fear, be the only legacy for American guilt at past mistakes. What does he, what does anybody think that one term of office, for a Government that has lost the moral direction that the most powerful nation in the world should, must have, can do ? The American people continue to be the most generous on this Earth...but their expectations can and never will be realised..it is doomed to fail. The seismic shift in the financial system means that American influence will diminish as the emerging economies of the East sweep all before them. Like England before her, Americas failure to read the signs and act upon them has been her downfall and I don't believe there is any way back. American satirical magazine 'MAD' recently had a darkened skinned Alfred E. Nueman on it's front cover with the headline 'YES WE CAN'T''...an eerie portent of the inevitability of what is coming!!

Read in the newspaper that listening to a radio whilst driving your car is as dangerous as drink driving...been saying for years that the safety mafia will not be happy until all cars are off the road...not happy with a 30 mph limit, they are now pushing for , and getting, 20 mph in some places and are even now trying for 10 mph!...how long before these Luddites ask for someone to walk in front of each vehicle waving a red flag?...oh no, we've tried that and we still have the Brighton car run to celebrate it's abolition...exceed the speed limit? why your worse than Hitler!..eating a Mars bar behind the wheel?...it's the Gulag for you!...the next time a hero burns down one of those fixed speed cameras I wish he would include a 'safety' campaigner in the pyre!

Had to laugh at the heartfelt tears of a certain Mr. Yvon de Boer at the climate change meeting in Bali...Mr. De Boer's tears signified that finally they could all relax, secure in the knowledge that they will all get another jolly to some exotic location in 2009, and was quite moving...loading the lot of these parasites into a coach and sending them to a Bridlington bedsit in January, with instructions not to leave until a lasting agreement was reached, would surely be a far better way of concentrating the mind?

Same old story in the news....house prices spiralling!...couple of suggestions...firstly stop people owning more than one house UNLESS it is rented out full time to local residents...they should then increase the tax payable on it's sale to stop this frenzy that is going on....this problem is particularly acute in our more scenic areas...Lake District...Cornwall...and this is having a devastating effect on local communities and sevices....secondly...can't the brain deads running our country see that the biggest problem facing England is OVERCROWDING?..already the most densely populated country in Europe our government has buried it's head in the sand for decades...too many people in too small a space leads to all kinds of social problems without taking into account the devastating effect it has on our beautiful countryside AND the tremendous pressure our local authorities are under to acquiese to demands to release more land for building...too simple l suppose?

Watching a crowd of Irish travellers demanding sites to settle on the other day...local residents up in arms...local crime rate up...surrounding area made to resemble a tip...why don't we just refuse them entry?...tell me how it's the responsibility of English taxpayers to provide any sort of ameneties to these people?...the only reason they are over here is because the Irish government has tightened the regulations on where these people can settle...so what do they do ?...arrive on our doorstep full of self righteous indignation, full of the human rights act and determined to flout every regulation that they can...why do we allow ourselves to be made fools of in this way?...refuse them entry and let their own Government take the resposibility
