The components of the body kit include a new front lip to suit the A5 S-line Convertible, Coupe and Sportback models (€ 269), which JMS claim is simply attached with the use of adhesive and fastening screws. The design of the front lip is similar to the OEM version, which retains key aspects of the A5’s design characteristics.

The styling is further enhanced with a sports rear apron (€ 269), which is offered in exchange for the original parts. A Senner 4-pipe exhaust system with oval tailpipes (€ 1090) complements the A5’s appearance and improves sound. Handling is improved with the installation of KW coilover suspension Var. 2 Inox (1319 €) with ride height adjustment. The new Work VARA T1s rims are another highlight of the upgrade. The wheel dimensions consist of 9x20 front / rear 10,5 x20 rims and 245/30-20 +2952520 tires (5500 €). All parts, including the VARA wheels, are TÜV approved .

Described as a ‘stage one’ upgrade, the performance enhancement package consists of a free flowing air filter element and an ECU remap. Sportec claims that peak power is increased from 328bhp at 6000rpm to 425bhp at 6640rpm - a gain of 97bhp.

Similarly, the upgrade delivers an increase in torque output for the Audi S5, producing a maximum of 520Nm (379lb-ft) at 4250rpm, compared to normal peak figure of 440Nm (325lb-ft) from the factory. 80% of the maximum torque output is available from 2750 to 6250rpm.

The upgrade reduces the 0-100km/h (62mph) by 0.5 seconds to 4.6 seconds, while top speed is limited at 250km/h (155mph).

Performance enhancements include a Miltek exhaust system, ECM upgrade and H&R lowering springs. Like the Panzerjäger, the Militar R8 also features Agetro wheels, with M140 20 x 8.5 front and 20 x 11 rear, each finished in satin black.

Senner Tuning AG recently revealed their efforts at modifying the new A1, offering more options for new A1 models that provide them with a bit more individuality on the road. Senner now offers power upgrades for Audi A1 for 1.6 TDI engine – increasing it from 77KW / 105PS / 250 Nm to 103KW / 140 PS / 310 Nm with a software optimization kit (899 Euro).

The unique Senner design also features in their choice of suspension and wheels. To control the increased torque transferred to the road, KW-thread suspension with ascertained adjustment is offered, together with Barracuda Voltec T6 light alloy wheels (Real-Chrome and Black-Chrome) in 8x18 inch diameter with 225/35-18 Hankooks. The classic shape provides effective heat removal and visibility of the braking mechanism.

The whole package is completed by a right/left stainless steel sports exhaust system with 1x 90 mm exhaust pipes, which can be ordered from Senner for 899 Euro.

The potential of the RS5 is gaining attention amongst after-market tuners based in Germany. SKN recently released their tuning package for the RS5 which they claim offers more than 500bhp. SKN acknowledges that the new RS5 addresses many limitations of earlier versions, which Audi has addressed with the current RS5.

The PES supercharger technology works across similar but diverse Audi platforms. For instance, the G4 MPI SUPERCHARGER G4 SYSTEM is designed for MPI (MULTI PORT INJECTED) AUDI/VW 4.2L 5V V8 AND THE AUDI R8 4.2 FSI engines. At the heart of the system is the PES cast aluminum intake manifold and Eaton M62 superchargers. This roots-type positive displacement supercharger delivers instant boost. Eaton superchargers are used as OEM equipment on Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, and Jaguar automobiles.

The engines computer (ECU) controls all engine functions. The addition of forced induction necessitates enhanced fuel delivery to ensure the correct air/fuel ratio for performance and safety. PES has accomplished this through a combination of larger fuel injectors and recalibrating all ECU parameters. PES claims that all systems offer smooth drivability and near silent operation. All systems are the result of over 1000 hours of "real-time" road testing and data logging procedures. Vehicles are tested under a wide variety of driving conditions ranging from "easy" daily commutes to severe track conditions.

All PES supercharger systems come with brackets that are CNC machined from billet aluminum for strength, then hard-coat anodized for durability. Each system is supplied with all parts necessary for a complete installation.
