The most powerful diesel SUV in the world has just got even more potent and stealthy. This time its fostla.de who has taken an Audi Q7 V12 TDI and given it a new look and some extra performance. </p>
<p>First released in 2008, the Q7 V12 TDI is a significant vehicle because it is the only V12 diesel powered passenger car on the planet. In factory trim, the Q7's 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 diesel engine churns out 493hp (500PS) and 1,000Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque for a zero to 100km/h (62mph) sprint time of 5.5 seconds and a limited top speed of 250km/h (155mph), according to the manufacturer.</p>

<p>Fostla's package includes a US$7,700 power kit that brings output to 592hp (600PS) and peak torque to 1,150Nm (848 lb-ft).</p>
<p>The German company then proceeds to the design applying a matte black foil wrap on the body while also tinting the side and rear windows and the lights. The styling package is priced at US$4,500.</p>

The Audi A5 Coupé is a seducer that sweeps people directly off their feet. The attractive two-door car also boasts excellent technical features, no matter if for every-day use or for the race track. The new A5 DTM meets the challenges of the renowned DTM (German Touring Masters). As an “Audi Sport Official Supplier”, Eibach equips the Audi racing cars with the perfect suspension systems to prepare them for their tasks. The Coupé also has an excellent motorsport feel on the road. </p>
<p>The Eibach suspension experts want to prove this with a new project car based on the Audi S5. The Eibach specialists did not touch the standard 245kW/333HP – they decided to generate more power by improving the car‘s handling: with an optimum suspension set-up themed “Inspired by motorsport – Performance for the road”. Fitted with the Eibach B12 Pro-Kit, the Anti-Roll-Kit Performance Sway Bars and the Pro-Spacer Wheel Spacer. There are three different wheel-tyre combinations to choose from, depending on the intended use.</p>

<p>The Eibach B12 Pro-Kit Performance Springs and Shocks are composed of the Pro-Kit Performance Springs and specially adapted mono-tube gas pressure shock absorbers from Bilstein. A high degree of dynamics, precise handling and large reserves in the limit range guarantee motorsport-worthy excellence. The slightly lowered centre of gravity makes the car look even more like the Audi A5 DTM version – particularly in combination with a decal design inspired by motorsports.</p>
<p>The Eibach Anti-Roll-Kit and the Eibach B12 Pro-Kit form a perfect symbiosis in the Eibach Audi S5. The Performance Sway Bars reduce body roll and guarantee even more driving pleasure. The Eibach Audi S5 reacts to every steering command with extreme stability and precision. The Eibach Pro-Spacer Wheel Spacer made of aluminum round off the package.</p>
<p>The wheels are the final interface between asphalt and vehicle. In cooperation with its partners Toyo and OZ, Eibach has put together three different wheel-tyre combinations. These were optimised with respect to dimensions and specifications for representative purposes (Show &#038; Shine), for every-day use (Performance) and for the race track (High Performance). The award-winning Toyo Proxes T1 Sport, the Semislick Toyo R888 and the HLT lightweight technology of OZ are the chosen products.</p>

BILSTEIN, the respected German manufacturer of dampers and suspension systems has released a beautifully engineered enhancement package for the B7 variant of Audi’s capable RS4 in both saloon and estate variants. As the OEM supplier to many of the World’s leading automotive manufacturers, these new units draw heavily on BILSTEIN’s unparalleled technical experience.</p>
<p>The BILSTEIN B16 kit represents the pinnacle of suspension performance, allowing the owner to fine-tune the ride height and stance to suit their own needs. Each damper unit has nine steps of adjustment, with bump and rebound being changed together in a carefully pre-set ratio to ensure that the car retains impeccable manners. With a damping range that offers either limo smoothness, track control or indeed, anything in-between, the B16 kit truly allows you to have two cars in one.</p>
<p>This latest kit offers OEM levels of fit, finish and ride quality, coupled with significant improvements in handling. Everything included in the kit has been designed and produced entirely in-house in BILSTEIN’s cutting-edge German production facilities and uses many of the material and production techniques that the firm has developed from its extensive motorsport programme.</p>
<p>Thanks to precision-machined threaded steel bodies, the BILSTEIN B16 kits offer 20mm of ride height adjustment from a lower starting point, which equates to a drop of between -30mm and -50mm. This is regarded by most engineers to be the most that it is possible to lower a vehicle before handling becomes adversely affect and safety is compromised.</p>
<p>As with all BILSTEIN performance products, this kit has been extensively proven. Not only in BILSTEIN’s extensive laboratory set-up, but more importantly, at the Papenburg test facility, where the firm has its unparalleled research centre. Here, both kits were ‘shaken down’ by real, live test drivers, to ensure that these upgrades don’t just work well in a computer simulation, but can offer ride quality and peerless handling whether fully loaded or on the poorest of surfaces.</p>
<p>Both kits carry full TUV approval and 12 months warranty.</p>

Four DTM (German Touring Masters) titles now top off the long-standing cooperation between Eibach and Audi Sport: after 2007, 2008 and 2009, the motorsports team from Ingolstadt also were victorious in 2011. Audi Sport relied on the Eibach Race Spring System (ERS) and several custom builds, which are developed together in order to achieve the optimum set-up.</p>
<p>Now the success story will continue for at least another two years.</p>
<p>As both an “Audi Sport Official Supplier” and a technical partner, Eibach does not only provide its<br />
know-how for the DTM motorsports cars but also equips the Audi Sport R8 LMS and R8 LMS ultra.</p>
<p>In addition to Audi Sport, many other teams and drivers in national and international top-class sport have been relying on products from Eibach for decades.</p>

When the inventor of the Tornado Move, the DJ, the Hexo, and the Kangaroo Flip is not spending his time airborne at some of the world’s most challenging mountains, he is spending the additional 300 days on the road traveling to them.<br />
<a href="http://jon-olsson.com/?p=8473">Jon Olsson</a> demands excellence from everything around him, and when not finding it to his precise standards, he creates the company to make the product he desires. So when he was looking for a car that would meet his demanding standards, and one that was equally exciting to drive, he turned to PPI Automotive Design GmbH in Stuttgart Germany, an exclusive tuner of Audi Automobiles.</p>
<p>The result is a truly unique, one-off masterpiece. The all wheel drive “extreme winter” supercar was completely re-engineered to suit Jon’s personal tastes. No details were left out.</p>

<p><strong>Power and Weight, unleashed with Carbon Fiber.</strong><br />
The car started life as an Audi R8 with 10 cylinders, and was transformed into a PPI Razor GTR, starting with the removal and replacement of every body panel with 600 gram heavy weave Carbon Fiber. Even the glass was replaced with lightweight racing-grade Makrolon Glass.</p>
<p>The result makes a statement that Jon is known for by all his rivals. With a car that is wider even than the Audi R8 LMS race car or the 2 million euro Bugatti Veyron, the PPI Razor GTR’s presence is unmistakable, stunning, and functional.</p>

<p>An addition of PPI’s power upgrade kit will bring this stallion to well over 600 horses! (a total of 611 PS to be precise). That, coupled with the weight savings from the Carbon Fiber body and lightweight interior components, brings the power-toweight ratio inline with the Audi R8 LMS racecar.</p>
<p><strong>Skibox, re-engineered.</strong><br />
Every car produced at PPI Design Automotive GmbH is unique, and Jon’s “extreme winter” supercar is no exception. Special one-off items like the unique full carbon fiber skibox specially molded to the roof of the PPI Razor GTR and optimized for top speed driving. Inside, the box is lined at the leading and trailing edge with specialized diamond Alcantara lining, and includes LED lighting, and a secondary power supply with an integrated outlet for use with supplied carbon-look ski boot heaters (also integrated into the front car boot for additional heating).</p>

<p><strong>Body Protection</strong><br />
Jon Olsson knows the importance of protection while in competition. His car is no different. In addition to the heavy weave Carbon Fiber, the car has been painted with no less than 10 layers of coating. Even the foil decals used on the car are specially made 3-layer metallic chrome red foil. And since we know there is no terrain that Jon does not like to tackle, including snow-covered roads, PPI reinforced the lower valence of the car, allowing Jon to have confidence while using his car to plow through the snow. Also, the PPI engineered hydraulic lift system, was added both front and rear, for performance driving that requires a little more clearance.</p>
<p><strong>Personal Touches, the interior – Custom made, Custom tailored, Custom fitted.</strong><br />
There is no part of the car that is more personal than the interior. Jon worked closely with PPI Design to come up with an interior that completely matched his sense of style without compromising functionality.</p>
<p>The entire interior was re-styled, re-done, and re-leathered. All aluminum and plastic was removed and replaced with Alcantara or carbon fiber. The only plastic remaining were the speaker grills, but even those were painted matte black to blend in better with the black and red interior and eliminate unwanted reflection. Jon’s sports logo was also incorporated onto the seats and carbon fiber threshold plates.</p>

<p>The custom, specially designed, PPI steering wheel, was molded to Jon’s needs, trimmed in Carbon Fiber, and fitted with Alcantara and leather. The downside is that the result feels so good, we are sure he will hate letting go!<br />
Jon Olsson also opted for full lightweight components in the interior. This included lightweight racing seats specially tailored to his exact design. Extra lumbar and lateral support were added to insure that, while off the slopes, he is not exerting himself and can relax in comfort. The result was a carefully crafted seat, with a weight savings of an additional 36.8kgs (81 lbs).</p>
<p>To finish the interior off, PPI Automotive Design created a lightweight aluminum plaque mounted to carbon fiber detailing the build, the year, and the model designation with custom artwork specifically done to showcase the car’s custom ski box and particular owner.</p>

On March 24, Revo changed the landscape for the Volkswagen Group performance aftermarket when they unveiled a globally integrated hardware and software portfolio along with STaSIS Engineering at the annual European dealer conference. The breadth of technical and distribution infrastructure reaches beyond anything in the market, setting a new standard for performance, value and service. The new global company backed up this vision with the release of two cooperatively designed vehicles, STaSIS S4 and S5 versions of Audi vehicles that were final tested at the Nurburgring earlier this month, enabling those at the conference to experience OEM-level holistically designed aftermarket performance vehicle packages first-hand. </p>
<p>This year’s Revo European dealer conference promised many great things – and was ably assisted by the unusually warm sunshine, setting the scene perfectly for an exciting day for the Revo network.</p>
<p>The morning started well with dealers assembling from all over Europe at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire, for Revo who have adopted the test tracks for all their latest development activity, it is proving to be home from home. A strong turnout of key dealers soon turned the large T2 Exhibition hangar into a spectacle that many car show promoters would be proud of, with VW Group, Ford and Porsche cars rubbing shoulders whilst the guests helped themselves to a delicious cooked breakfast.</p>
<p>Many of Revo’s select technical partners also made the journey to show their support. Milltek, Forge, Eibach and Bilstein but a few showing their latest enhancements which will are available via Revo dealerships and respective technicians were on hand all morning to chat to guests and advise on set-up and options.</p>
<p>The big news of the day was the integration of Revo with STaSIS Engineering, creating a combined organisation that can deliver global reaching ‘one-stop’ performance solutions for all Audi vehicles.  Needless to say, this industry changing move was very positively received by the audience as was StaSIS’ president and CEO Paul Lambert who gave a rousing presentation to the assembled guests, outlining the vision for the future of the two brands as part of a holistic automotive enhancement technology group.</p>
<p>Talking to journalists at the event, Paul Lambert later commented, “England and Central Europe is where I grew up learning to love performance cars.  It is wonderfully rewarding to bring the knowledge gained from our longstanding US racing and road-going development back to the enthusiast community that started my passion so many years ago. The integration with our European team and customers enables us to share our already extensive Audi offering and to drive our new global company to develop products that are even more capable.”</p>
<p>At the end of the presentations, the team introduced the first of their new European Series of STaSIS Motorsport Audi vehicles range, the B8 3.0l V6, S4 Salon and S5 Sportback. Both cars feature bespoke suspension, brakes, exhausts, wheels and of course software, and had only days earlier returned from two extreme (but hugely successful) days of final testing at Destination Nurburgring. </p>
<p>After lunch, the afternoon served as a track session on the famous Bruntingthorpe circuit for the dealers to shake down their demo cars and settle a few old pub scores along the way. Those looking to get truly competitive availed themselves of the free go-karting, with the fastest drivers being entered into a Grand Prix format in the afternoon.</p>
<p>Commenting on the day, Chairman James Leng said ‘This has to have been our most vibrant dealer conference yet. Not only has the attendance been superb, but the weather has been magnificent. It’s obviously a hugely exciting time for us with our integration within the STaSIS stable and the introduction of new product lines into the European market as well as an ever expanding network of global dealers.’</p>

Light metal construction was used consistently for the new Audi A6 Avant – this saves fuel and makes the estate car even more sportive. Therefore the vehicle is the ideal tuning basis, as Hans-Jürgen Abt CEO of the long established Bavarian company stressed: "The car is characteristically versatile, stylish and dynamic – and we have tied performance packages which are perfectly suitable to it." The manager of ABT Sportsline mentions the long tradition in tuning the A6 estate cars quite casually: “The history began with the introduction of the Audi 100 C2, which hit the market in 1977 as Avant. With the new AS6 Avant we look back on 35 successful years in the segment of the noble lifestyle-transporter."</p>
<p>At the moment ABT has two power levels in its program for the new AS6 Avant - and both ensure that the all-round premium-automobile performs powerfully and superior in every situation. Thanks to ABT POWER the 3.0 TFSI offers a proud 420 HP or 309 kW (production version: 300 HP/221 kW) and a maximum torque of 540 Nm (standard: 440 Nm). 120 additional horsepower (88 kW) results in 40 percent additional power and – if it should go even faster – has the driving properties of an extreme sports car. Frequent drivers are quite economically on the way with the new 3-liter bi-turbo diesel engine: A maximum power of 360 HP or 265 kW (production version: 313 HP/230 kW) and a maximum torque of 700 Nm (standard: 650 Nm) is provided in the AS6 Avant. Thanks to the ABT lowering springs or the electronic lowering of the vehicle's barycentre with the help of the ABT Level Control the noble estate car brings the plus in performance at all times on the road.</p>

<p>One should also see what is contained in a "real ABT" in the new AS6 Avant. Therefore the designers took care of the elongated body and purposefully provided for a still more self-confident appearance: Side skirts, a front spoiler as well as a rear spoiler and a new rear skirt set with two powerful double end pipes clearly show for more presence and extreme dynamic optics. The sportive impression is strengthened with the ABT sports rims. ABT recommends the CR and DR model which harmonises particularly well with the silhouette of the Avant. The wheels are available in 19 up to 21 inch and naturally also in combination with high speed tyres. Transportation was seldom more attractive and faster…  </p>
