Hi there -

I should probably either delete this blog, or change its name to "Audio Every Six Months." Anyhow, I'm considering new considerations for Audio Everyday since the initial purpose of this blog was really well-served. It was fun making those little audio snippets. 

I'm working on a couple new pieces right now. For the moment, though, take a gander at a project I co-produced for the UnionDocs collaborative last year: Of Birds and Boundaries.

Of Birds and Boundaries: A filmmaker’s search for the Williamsburg’s Eruv (a string the defines the boundaries of the Chasidic neighborhood and redefines public space as a shared private space) leads her to ‘Marty,’ an anonymous Chasid who volunteers to help with research. The result is the development of an unexpected relationship, a cross-cultural exchange between two unlikely collaborators.

I wish there was a way to record the thrush of fever and headache in my head,right now.

1. I'm still helping out with WFMU's Too Much Information with Benjamen Walker. There's a little audio thang I recorded about being TERRIBLE with social media for this week's episode. 2. I've joined the UnionDocs collaborative program from 2010. I'm excited about this. Hopefully I'll be able to find a way to put Audio Everyday to good use in terms of documenting project development &c.
