class="meta-nav">&#8594;</span></a>]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Everybody at Audio Factory is proud to be involved with the production of Piers Paul Read’s <em>The House on Highbury Hill</em>, a one-off radio drama that saw lead actor Robert Prince make his directorial debut.</p><p>Originally aired on BBC Radio 4 in the 80′s, the story follows Casimir (Robert Prince), a young man whose life is altered dramatically when he turns his back on priesthood and leaves the seminary where he had grown up. Staying with his Mother’s friend, Mrs Anderson, at a house on Highbury Hill in North London, Casimir soon realises he has feelings for her kind hearted daughter, Ethel (Sarah Vennit), much to the disgust of her manipulative sister Marigold (Angela Bell), who wants to be with him and is determined to get her way.</p><p>We began recording in August for the programme that was also broadcast on BBC Television in the 70′s and now it’s complete we have decided to initially make it available on our website. Audio Factory has produced the comedy/drama pilot on behalf of Somerset based writer and director John Stephens, who has brought together a fantastic cast from across the South West.</p><p><em>Sheepsbere Bay</em> is a funny and warm, albeit crude comedy with colourful characters that provide plenty of laughs. The pilot will initially be made available to download in podcast format with a view to being commissioned for radio.
