It all began when Kaitlin went to a workshop called the anatomy of pleasure. In this workshop they were shown an incredible diagram of a vagina with tons of arrows and erogenous zones and hiding spots and suggestions and mysteries explained. After about 15 minutes of discussion about the complexity of vaginas and the female orgasm, we turned the page to view a cock and balls. With two labels: cock and balls. We talked briefly about the phrenulum. There were a lot of people in the workshop who objected to this overly simplified approach that seems pervasive in society’s sexual consiousness. And we can sometimes forget that male bodied folks are just as tired of our one penis fits all perspectives on sexuality.
