Heiruspecs (pronounced high-roo-spex) is a live rap band based in St.Paul, Minnesota. The band's name is based on a deliberate misspelling of Haruspex. The band is mostly known for their live performances. They have also been known to do shows with Minnesota-local hip hop label Rhymesayers Entertainment. They have a very upbeat sound and are typically on tour for at least half of the year. The group style has been compared to the live hip hop band The Roots.

Breakage not really a "new" per say to those who follow the genre, but probably new to some of you on this side of the pond. Love him or hate him Kanye West will be around for a very long time. Especially when Jay-Z goes around saying that he is "a music genius". ..Which remains to be seen. Great Beatmaking doesn't really equal musical genius, it equals 'Great Beatmaking'. But in this day and age with really no one creating anything fresh and new without the aid of chopping 'samples', unfortunately Kanye will become is this (and the probably the next) generation's equvalent to Motzart. Go figure, when the only thing he does really well is talk shit about things that he originated when he didn't. (The whole 808 kick drum as the bassline "..which had never been done before I did it.." intervew comes to mind.) Hater you say? "Hate" is another offering from the latest album from a 'retired' Jay-Z, "The Blueprint 3" aka "The Ghetto Techno Album".
