Though Buzz Aldrin have nothing to do with the actual Buzz "astronaut" Aldrin, this band will take you as far as the man himself...

These guys are from Bologna and you can just feel that italian rhythm as you would in other bands like Movie Star Junkies. Their songs are a mix of psych dramatic punk tribal and i would even go further saying that you could get a hint of trans in this band.

What really gets me going in here are the drums and simplicity of the riffs, carrying you away from all actual physical world we could hang on to. The singer's repetitive lyrics bring all the psychedelic sense to their music, adding an extra piece of dramatic feeling...

Imagine the night crawling down on this beach you're walking on, you suddenly feel the air changing and your feet start walking for no reason, no control, you must go forth...

The beat starts and these dark tunes come like clouds, accompanied by the voice, your guide to your trip.

I would recommend all Bazooka (bazookabzk.bandcamp.com) fans, to have a look at Buzz Aldrin, they are really worth having a listen to !

Today it's an upcoming artist full of talent that we would like to present you.

Deborah (Debbie most of the time) is a young photographer based in the South East of France.
At only 23, Debbie has already a very particular personality and an indisputable talent.

Her work mixes poetry and trash culture. It is soft for the eye and provocative for the soul.

Just like Dolls, fairies and teenagers partying together in the underground club from a post nuclear city.

We will keep an eye (At least) on her!

As one of her B-day presents this year Miss Wolf got a book of Diane Arbus from a lovely photographer friend that warned her avant-reading that those photos were at the same a caress and a slap.
"My favorite thing is to go where I've never been.'' - used to say the american photographer and writer Diane Arbus (1923-1971).

Known for her black and white photos of deviant and marginal people as dwarfs, giants, transgender people, nudists, circus performers or of people whose normality seems ugly or surreal.
But most of all her work scream true in through this unknown and awkward faces. Most of all it makes us think about all the use of technologies to cover peoples flows or the ''blurredfication'' of images in order to make them interesting enough to be called art.

"Freaks was a thing I photographed a lot . . . . Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats."

Some of Diane's Arbus works can be seen at the FOAM in Amsterdam from 26th October until 13th of January 2013.

Wolf & Disaster are not only about music, we love cinema as well.
Last week we randomly came across an inspirational documentary about a great film director:
-Roman Polanski - A Film Memoir.

90 minutes about his dramas, his past, art and how does elements are so present in his filmography.

This intimate 'talk' with Polanski is conducted and produced by Andrew Braunsberg, a long time friend
of the director in his house is Gstaad Switzerland.

At a certain moment Braunsberg quote the famous poem 'If' from the English writer Rudyard Kipling: 'If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same'

We believe that it is a pretty good resume of this must see documentary about one of the greatest minds of the modern cinema. As well good opportunity to meet the man behind the big screen.
