For me, Michael Jackson was an inspiration to a lot of people. He was a musical legend and his music will live on forever. He just wanted to make the world a better place for people, one that will always be remembered. I am not a big fan of the media so i feel whatever happened in the past was a lie and the public was out to destroy an innocent man.

Still, Michael Jackson is the only famous person i’ve ever followed. His songs are part of my childhood memories, each happy time has one of his songs attached to it. Sure, i can’t believe his death has effected me in the way that it has. Nobody will ever come close to the performer, singer, songwriter, dancer and businessman he was. I love you Michael, i hope now you can rest in peace, away from all the nonsense people tried to destroy you with. You are not beaten, i hope you are looking down on these moments knowing how much you were loved and respected. Can’t quite believe your gone.

Rest in peace, Michael Jackson, no one can hurt you now, and know that your contribution to music will not be forgotten. Thanks Michael!

My best performing ads are Google AdSense, but you’re limited to three of those per site and i already meet that limit so i wanted to try some of the AdSense alternatives out there. Yes, I have been testing a couple of programs and most of them are just crap. They try to copy Google AdSense and fail greatly because they will never be able to have more advertisers than AdSense. They aren’t innovative. Good news, i recently discovered another good advertising program (the first one in a while). The name of the program is Chitika. Yes, Chitika, this’s all about Chitika .

By the way, below is my comprehensive Chitika reviews and analysis:

As most of you know that Chitika is a search targeted advertising network. You have seen the ads on many of my sites including this one. So what is Chitika Premium ads really? Well, it is a Cost per Click ads visible only to Search Engine visitors from US and Canada. Regular visitors and visitors from other sources do not see anything. The ads shown are related to the keyword that the person used in their search.

Chitika is very unique in that it only shows to people who reach your site via a search engine. If someone reaches your site from any direct link (their RSS reader, bookmark, a link you send out on Twitter, etc) then they don’t see the ads at all. I really love this feature. This way my regular readers and Twitter followers aren’t seeing this ad spot at all but the people who just chanced upon my blog are seeing targeted search results based on whatever they searched for that led them to my site in the first place. It’s based on the idea that casual surfers who chanced on your site through search results are the most likely to click on ads anyway so why not only show it to them? It is also like a perk for regular readers that their experience has less ads.

Want to see this in action (or not see it, as the case my be)? There is a Chitika ad at the right sidebar of this blog, also an ad on every single post-page. If you came here through search results, you are seeing it but, if you are a regular reader or otherwise accessed this from another direct link, you aren’t seeing it. I think that is pretty cool!

There are a wide variety of options for the Chikita Premium ad boxes and many sizes so you should be able to fit one just about anywhere.

Their other service is called Chitika AdPro. This service is much more limited in the sizes that you can use but has its own merits. Once you set up one of these boxes, you can set a minimum ad price on it. To will show the normal Chitika search result based ads until you get as advertiser who is willing to meet the price that you set. Then that advertiser can take over that space and show their ads. When you have no buyers, you are still getting a chance to make money off of that space but, as long as someone is willing to pay, it also gives you the option to sell it for more to a specific buyer.

I have been pleased so far with their results. As always, I will post updates on how it is going, especially if i later change my mind and decide i no longer like their service. But, as blog ad options go, this one came very highly recommended and, so far, i really like what they have to offer so I am very optimistic.

1. Easy and Fast Registration

One thing that is really great about Chitika is that it is extremely easy to register. They do not require a whole lot of information, just the basics. Also you do not need to have a really popular website to get accepted. After you register in a few hours you should be approved. Most sites get approved the same day they register. Most ad networks make you wait a few days, even a week!

2. User Friendly Control Panel

The Chitika control panel is easy to operate and you also get a Channel system to let you track which pages are making you the most money. You can set up as many as 1,000 channels.

3. Ads Made Easy

The ad code generator is very easy to use. It has so many options and settings. First and one of the most important things is you are able to change the color of pretty much everything in the ad. This will allow you to match the ads to the color of your site for a better CTR.

Sure, when i first had a look on the default layout of Chitika’s ads i was amazed. I previously made a post about psychological AdSense optimization where I talked about colors and all that. The layout is extremely important as it decides whether the user clicks on the ad or doesn’t.

Chitika offers all methods of optimizing your ads, changing the title color, text color, border color and URL color. That’s of course what Google offers as well but there is one significant difference. Google’s TOS disallows placing images next to your advertisements because they think that that could somehow encourage the user to click the ads. What’s the big deal? That only means more money. The visitor sees the image and then automatically focuses the ad unit next to it resulting in more clicks. That’s a clever trick which Chitika automatically implements. Check out the picture, Chitika automatically displays relevant images next to the ads! Amazing, i was stunned when I saw that the first time. That of course means more revenue for you.

4. Paid Per Click

First thing we talked about was the relevancy of the ads. The relevancy is the main factor for high CPC. Chitika is able to display relevant ads as I showed you above. The result is a CPC as high as together with AdSense. I even have a higher CPC on my gaming site with Chitika than with AdSense. That’s because AdSense performs really poor for everyone in the Gaming niche. The CPC you can expect lays anywhere between 75 and 125 percent of your AdSense CPC.

Next factor is the Click Through Rate (CTR), by allowing major customizations and placing images next to the ads the Chitika CTR lays somewhere between 100 and even up to 250 percent of your AdSense CTR. Please keep in mind that most people don’t use Chitika to replace AdSense but as an additional ad on the website. Yes, by using Chitika as additional source of income you are able to increase your total earnings by 10-20 percent. Do you want to miss that?

5. Who Should Use Chitika

The only people who should be using Chitika are those who receive a lot of traffic from search engines. Of those people, the only ones who should be using Chitika are those who can’t get Google Adsense to convert. Chitika Premium ads are only shown to search engine traffic, so those of you getting traffic from other sites need not apply. And as mentioned above, don’t risk losing higher paying Adsense traffic to get a few more clicks on your Chitika ads.

Chitika performs, however, very good for all websites. The sites AdSense performs bad for are the sites Chitika performs very good for. Poor text-content websites for example. Yes, all websites work well together with Chitika.

6. Conclusion

I will continue to use Chitika in hopes they will increase their Automotive inventory of ads and eventually increase CPC’s. The Chitika customer support says that the online marketing industry as a hole is trending toward higher search traffic CPC’s, rather than content related marketing like Adsense for content. I hope they’re right and i wish Chitika luck in their niche. We need options in the market place as both a publisher and advertiser.

Apple enumerates no less than 150 features of Safari trying to account for the claim that the product leads the pack in terms of browser innovation. There are indeed features that set Safari 4 apart, at least from some of its competitors, such as Top Sites, to tracks the sites you browse and ranks your favorites, CoverFlow, a highly visual way to reviewing your site history and bookmarked sites, Nitro Engine, a most advanced rendering technologies to increase your browser speed.

Apple insists this is the “world’s fastest browser on any platform,” and according to Apple :

Using the new Nitro Engine, Safari executes JavaScript nearly 8 times faster than Internet Explorer 8 and more than 4 times faster than Firefox 3 based on performance in leading industry benchmark tests: iBench and SunSpider.

Note that Apple does not compare Safari to the latest beta version of Firefox 3.0, which contains a lot of the same Javascript optimizations as Safari. In running the two side by side on both Windows and Mac systems, they are comparable in performance, though I have not done any formal benchmarks.

Safari 4 also adds a cool feature that was hidden in previous versions. Go to the Advanced tab in its Preferences and check the box next to “Show Develop menu in menu bar”. The Develop menu has some cool features, including the ability to trick Web sites into thinking Safari is some other browser — including the mobile version of Safari used in the iPhone.

It also supports some features in the new HTML 5 specification, including media tags for audio, video and offline storage, also support for multi-touch, spellchecking, full history search, windows native look and feel, developer tools, and so many more…

And speaking of security, Apple also dropped a bunch of MB’s security update on June 8th, 2009 to fixes around 47 different vulnerabilities in multiple programs of Safari 4.0.

The iPhone 3GS was announced for the first time at WWDC 2009, two days ago. It’s will comes in 16, and 32 GB models, black or white/ Afaik, It’s will be priced at $199 and $299 respectively. And yes, the new iPhone 3GS will come installed with iPhone 0S 3.0 just to let you know. Althought, it’s will be released officially on June 19th, but you still able to pre-order it at Apple Store and the iPhone 3G (old model now) is $99.

Yes, the iPhone 3GS keeps same pricing scheme as the 3G, but you have to get a new line or pay the normal price (without a contract discount) if you want to upgrade from iPhone/iPhone 3G to 3GS and you haven’t gotten a new iPhone in two years.

What you get in iPhone 3G S?. Afaik, you will get a faster processors (possibly both CPU and GPU in line with new ARM and PowerVR chips). Yes, it uses the new ARMv7 Cortex processor at around 600 MHz with 256 Mb of ram. So having double the power and ram should make quite a big difference because I know the older ARM processor was really starting to get old in the tooth with more intense apps. Other than that, you also will get a new OpenGL ES 2.0 implementation (no word on OpenCL yet, which leverages GPUs and CPUs), and HSPA cell downloads are also boosted up to 7.2 Mbps, where available.

What you didn’t get?. Well, a various of gadget sources reported that you will never get new casing, and aluminum unibody. Also No 802.11n, Hi-Res 480×800 display, 16×9 display, HD-Radio, HD out via AV cables, no FM Transmitter and other old features.

Overall i agree with other tech folks, iPhone 3G S is not a whole new product, it’s more of a half generation product like when they went from the iPod 5G (video) to a 5.5G. If I knew for sure that they would not be releasing any other iPhone for a whole year, then I would be willing to upgrade from my 2G but since you never can tell with Apple, I might have to think this through a little more.
