Due to popular demand people are already asking where we are going to be over this Bonfire period. Although the answer is pretty much everywhere from West Sussex to Aberdeenshire, here is a list below. If an organiser of the event wants to get in contact to add gates times, ticket prices etc. Please contact me.

The display took place at the stunning Coltsford Mill. The staff there are fantastic, and the fireworks really are a fantastic way to finish the evening off.

Fireworks at Kempton Park Racecourse

The last few weeks Aurora Fireworks has had the pleasure of conducting the firework finales for Kempton Live. A selection of fantastic live music events, so far Kempton have had the X Factor Finalists Rebecca Ferguson, Paije Richardson and Aiden Grimshaw. Kempton have also had Darius Campbell and his best of British. Still to come are Peter Andre (6th July book your tickets now!), Olly Murs and Hot House Flowers.

We have managed to capture a couple of snap shots and video snippets of the display. Take a look!

Retail Fireworks Reference

Always good to hear when one of our retail customers has had a fantastic (and safe) display. Ian recently purchased some of our largest rockets and our best sellers this is what he had to say about his experience.

"I recently bought £145 of fireworks from you for a 40th birthday party which was the Sunday (15th) just gone and wanted to drop you a line to say they were terrific. I did as you said and set off few small rockets first then the bigger ones followed by the Raging bull and 100 shot one last … it seemed like a whole lot more !!

It was a big surprise for everyone, as had kept it a secret and everyone said it looked like I had spent a fortune on them … which is the effect I wanted. So am very pleased.

In Remembrance

Losing a loved one is the most stressful thing a person can go through, sometimes it can affect whole communities and even nations.

Fireworks are often used as a fitting tribute to those that we have lost. Aurora Fireworks prides itself on the respect with which we treat those who are no longer with us.

This recently happened in a community nearby to our central base in Wisborough Green at the Village of Hurstpierpoint. Aurora Fireworks already conduct the Bonfire night show for the Prep School, and had already been booked for a moving in party when tragedy struck.

A young child was hit by a car who sped off and tragically died from his injuries. It was at this point that a special finale was paid for in his remembrance. The whole community came together to celebrate this young life.

We then received this reference which made us all "Well Up" so all the staff at Aurora would to take this opportunity to share this reference. Which seems to have affected far more people than we first thought.

"We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful display last Saturday. It was truly amazing and we have had tremendous feedback from both the people at our party and neighbours and friends throughout the village.

Thank you, in particular, for making the finale in tribute to James so spectacular. We had a letter from an elderly neighbour who was widowed 8 weeks ago. She wrote

'I watched the firework display from my bedroom window and it brought me the first pleasure in so many weeks. It was a lovely tribute to James...'

So, you brought joy to so many people - thank you.

Civil Ceremonies

Aurora Fireworks recently carried out a fireworks display at Brighton Racecourse for a civil ceremony held there. Also present were a large number of Gurkhas carrying out a sponsored walk. By the sounds of it everybody enjoyed the display!
