The fees must fall campaign actually united all students from varies backgrounds of the country, all races and all genders to be one.
Most of the students face the same challenges of not having money to first of all to register and study.
When they are studying they don’t have money to pay so that they are able to carry on with their studies. At the same time National Student Financial Aid Scheme doesn't pay the full fees for some students who are funded by it.
You will find that students get blocked and they can’t continue with their studies. Which raises question that where the money is allocated to students goes too? If students are battling to study further.

University of Johannesburg,TUT, UCT, UKZN just to name a few were also associated with fees must fall campaign.There were a lot of organizations, celebrities and varies people from the communities who were part of the movement. Responses

It is not right that the minister of higher education to be slow in responding or taking the right precautions in managing the issues concerning the students. Minister Blade Nzimande in future shouldn't say “studentsmustfall” read more. The students are the future leaders of the country, without them how is the country going to move forward? Students shall rise not fall!

Recommendation

Government should in future address issues properly and well in time, they mustn't avoid issues until they become a problem which results in protesting. Government must have the correct structures in place to manage money and stick to them.

The xenophobic attacks in South Africa first occurred in May 2008, in Alexandra Township, when locals attacked foreign nationals. In April 2016 it started in Durban than spread to Johannesburg read more.

During Apartheid a lot of South Africans went to other neighboring countries such as Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe just to name a few which were very welcoming and supporting read more. Why now are we chasing and killing our brothers and sisters now? When we in the time of need they helped us and they showed so much of love and support towards us. Where is the spirit of Ubuntu?

Disadvantages of xenophobia attacks

Xenophobic attacks damage the image and reputation of South Africa, in a sense that we are seen as unwelcoming and violent towards foreign internationals.
This plays a huge role in the economy of the country because SA businesses suffer due to xenophobic attacks read more.
Businesses tend to lose investors and the market share prices drops.
South African businesses can not expand to other African countries.

There were many politicians, businesses, celebrities read more, schools, churches got involved with the fight against xenophobic attacks and the used social media as platforms to discourage the xenophobia attacks.

Recommendations

Government should work hard in building more schools, infrastructure, providing more jobs and so on. Because what leads to xenophobic violence is that South Africans feel that they are being ignored and that there is a slow progress in development of what they were promised. This leads to being intolerant in a sense that government is not living up to their expectations.

All the initiatives that they took to combat the violence xenophobic attacks did stabilize the situation though it didn't disappear in a sense that there are instances that you find some foreigners are being disrespected and attacked. There still more that needs to be done!

I wish that all South Africans embrace other Africans by interacting with them and see how much they could learn from them. They are very friendly, loving, caring towards us.
