There are some really nice auto auctions and classic car shows coming up for the remainder of the month as well as some great classic car auctions being held in some very warm and inviting locations throughout the month of February. Kruse International from Auburn,IN known for holding excellent antique car events throughout the U.S will be holding several of them and many of these auctions will have live bidding via the Internet and over the phone. Much Like Barrett Jackson sales you see on TV these are sure to produce some record auto auction prices on very hard to find all original muscle cars. Here is a listing of the sales coming up in the near future.

January 22-25
Phoenix, AZ 38TH ANNUAL SCOTTSDALE COLLECTOR CAR AUCTION
This auto auction will be taking place at the Arizona State Fairgrounds- Take a break from the winter weather and head south to Scottsdale for a great warm weekend of bidding on classic cars. From looking at the brochure this auto auction should feature some very nice cars.

February 13-14
Honolulu, HI 2ND ANNUAL HAWAII COLLECTOR CAR AUCTION 2009
The 2nd Annual Hawaii Collector Car Auction held at the Hawaii Convention Center. This is another auction being conducted by the great team of auto auctioneers from the folks at Kruse. This would be another great opportunity to vacate the north and head for warmer weather.

February 20-22
Boca Raton, FL 3RD ANNUAL BOCA RATON CONCOURS D' ELEGANCE
Great exposition of automobiles and motorcycles featured here from just about every year. This should be a great car show for enthusiasts with interests in both classic cars, vintage motorcycles and custom rides of all types.

February 20-21
Oklahoma City, OK OKLAHOMA CITY 2009
25th Annual Collector Car Auction held at Cox Pavilion at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. There is supposed to be over 400 cars up for grabs at this sale. while not one of the largest classic car auctions being held this year it will still definitely be worth putting on your calendar and swinging out to Oklahoma if you have the chance.

Classic Car Auctions Taking TV By Storm

If you have noticed lately many of the cable channels are showing live auto auctions or rebroadcast of classic car auctions. What you need to understand is that the audience they are targeting are those of us that grew up with the muscle cars. This focus on muscle cars with television shows isn't new there are many new car shows that have popped up over the years. Pimp my ride, pimp my truck , the Orange County choppers, and tons of other mechanic and automotive related shows have become extremely popular. Television is always evolving to meet the audience need and these new live auto auctions not only capture the attention of the aging men and women from the muscle car era but also picks up older generations looking for those classic 1930-50 antique cars. It's no surprise that Barrett Jackson and Kruse Auto Auctions have become the big draw that they are. I for one am thrilled to find custom, antique and classic muscle cars for sale at auction more and more these days. Finding these old cars used to be difficult when there were only one or two classic car auctions being held per year. This caused all the collectors and buyer to drive auto auction prices through the roof at these auto auctions. Ebay has been a big player by making auto auctions available to the average joe and not just for the collectors.

Welcome to my new blog. My name is Dean Price and I love classic cars from all era's. My personal favorites though have to be the muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. I started this blog to pass on my enthusiasm for antique, classic and rare cars to others that might have the same tastes in the automotive world that I have. I really love going to auto auctions and car shows to see the real gems the classic car world has to offer. I plan on giving regular updates on upcoming car auctions and shows in areas throughout the US. I'll try to recap them to the best of my ability and provide you with some of the current collector car auction prices, reviews and other information along those lines.
