CFMoto is currently testing four motorcycles in India, the 250NK, 400NK, 650NK and 650MT. Out of these, the 250NK is the company's entry-level offering. The naked motorcycle will compete against the KTM 250 Duke in India and is expected to be priced around the Rs 2 lakh mark. It gets LED lights all around and a colour TFT screen.

Powering the motorcycle is a 249.2cc liquid cooled single-cylinder motor that puts out 26.5PS and 22Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox with a hydraulic clutch which should reduce lever effort significantly. The motorcycle will come with two riding modes: Sport and Rain.

The motorcycle features a lightweight trellis frame, while suspension setup includes upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. It gets radial tyres and braking hardware consists of a 300mm disc up front and a 245mm disc at the rear.

The 2018 version of the Suzuki SV650 has gone through a number of changes, with a larger focus on weight reduction. The styling has been kept simple and is no different from the earlier model. According to Suzuki, the new SV650 has 140 new parts that have helped reduce the weight by 7kg and bring it down to 198kg (kerb). New features consist of a single-push starter button and low-rpm assist feature, which prevents the engine from stalling during low-speed pick up.

The new Z650 replaces the Kawasaki ER-6n. The Z650 is not only better looking, but also lighter by 19kg, in comparison to the ER-6n. The parallel-twin motor isn’t as powerful or torquey as the SV650 on paper, neither is it as light as the SV. On the bright side, the Z650 gets a slipper clutch and ABS is offered as standard.

Benelli TNT 600i: This is the only four-cylinder motorcycle on offer in this price bracket. Not only does it look chunkier than the competition, but is, in fact, the heaviest of the lot as well. ABS is standard here as well. While you will enjoy the 4-cylinder symphony, you will really need to twist that throttle to get the rush you desire, despite it being the most powerful with 85PS on offer.

The new Speed Triple made its global debut at the 2015 EICMA motorcycle show and was among the earliest motorcycles from the British brand to comply with Euro-4 emission norm. In terms of styling the new motorcycle looks similar to its predecessor except for new details like sharper headlamps with in-built DRLs, narrower but sharper-looking fuel tank and dual matte black under-seat exhaust with aluminium heat shields. Sadly the new bike doesn't feature the 5-inch TFT full digital console like the Street Triple RS but gets a LCD display equipped semi-digital unit.

heel via a 6-speed gearbox. The new engine is Euro-4 compliant and has been tuned to offer better power and torque spread across the entire rev range. With competition stepping up the ante with respect to electronic goodies, the old Speed Triple was feeling a bit left out. Triumph engineers have sorted that out by loading the new bike with ride-by-wire, a slipper clutch, switchable traction control, switchable ABS and five riding modes - Rain, Road, Sport, Track and a customisable Rider mode which lets you fiddle with the throttle response, power output, ABS and traction control settings

Prices have been revealed for the upcoming BS6 Classic 350, and Royal Enfield has increased the prices by more than Rs 14,000!
Royal Enfield has begun rolling out its BS6 inventory as the BS6 Classic 350 arrives in dealerships. The new bike was seen sporting a chunky cat con, fuel-injection and alloy rims. The bike will be officially launched in the coming weeks. Expect it to bear a premium of Rs 12,000 - Rs 14,000 over the outgoing BS4-compliant model. 2020 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Price

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 dual-channel ABS also gets two new colour options -- Stealth Black and Chrome Black. These will be sold alongside Signals Airborne Blue, Signals Stormrider Sand, Gunmetal Grey and Classic Black paint schemes. In Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey colour options, alloy wheels and tubeless tyres are now standard.

While Royal Enfield has not revealed the power and torque figures of the Classic 350 BS6 yet, it has said that the bike is now equipped with EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system. According to the two-wheeler maker, the overall engine power and torque delivery is tuned and optimised in such a way to get an enhanced vehicle performance throughout the operating range with a superior riding feel while meeting the BS6 emission norms. The outgoing Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS4 was powered by a 346 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, twinspark, air-cooled engine that delivered 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque and came mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Piaggio Liberty showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo created quite a stir and now the Italian manufacturer is reportedly planning to launch it in India.

Powering the scooter will be the same 125cc engine that is seen on the standard Vespa but it will lose the 3-valve technology to cut cost and will be tuned to deliver better fuel efficiency.

The Liberty is a step-through, very popular in South East Asian markets, but not very successful in India, the few times any manufacturer has tried launching any, like the Hero Streak. What the Liberty will hope to achieve is some interest with its utilitarian image and fuel efficiency.
Highlights of the Piaggio Liberty will be the 14-inch wheels compared to 10-inch wheels found on most other scooters on sale in India, electronic immobiliser and disc brakes.

Aprilia GPR 150 Launch Expected in 2020

According to the latest details available, Piaggio is expected to launch the Aprilia GPR 150 in India at the upcoming Auto Expo in February 2020. In addition to the 150cc motorcycle, the Italian brand will also be launching an all-new family scooter at the Auto Expo 2020. Aprilia showcased two 150cc sportbikes at the Auto Expo 2018 namely RS 150 and Tuono 150. The former is a fully-faired sports motorcycle while the latter was showcased as a semi-faired street bike.

Though loaded with a host of exciting features and powerful performance capabilities, the brand would have to tone down the RS 150 and Tuono 150 to launch them in India, which is a very price-sensitive market. The Aprilia GPR 150, on the other hand, is already on sale in China and would be one of the best options for the brand to debut in the 150cc motorcycle segment in India. The sportbike was spotted in the country a few months back where the brand has showcased it to a bunch of Aprilia dealers to get their views on the launch of the 150cc machine.

If all goes well, the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 will witness the launch of GPR 150 in the country while the motorcycle will be available for sale sometime after that. Since Aprilia is known to offer premium motorcycle range in India, one can expect the brand to launch the GPR 150 at an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.50 lakh, which is higher than the price of its close competitor Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.

The launch of the 150cc machine in the Indian market would be one of the wisest decisions from the brand to get a strong foothold in the country. If the brand manages to get ahead in the competition with the launch of Aprilia GPR 150 in India, expanding its portfolio in the 300-400cc segment would be something expected by the enthusiasts.

Zeppelin Cruiser Launch Uncertain

With the recent setback faced by the auto industry that led to a major decline in the sales, the upcoming Auto Expo will see the participation of only 3 major two-wheeler brands while the 19 other have decided to skip it. Since TVS Motor is no longer a part of the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 where it was expected to launch the production version of the much-awaited Zeppelin 220, the launch of the cruiser is now uncertain. The brand is yet to comment on the change in plans and there is no recent news on the new date for the launch of the TVS Zeppelin.

It is being said that TVS Motor is putting a lot of effort in the Zeppelin project while the testing of the motorcycle is expected to commence shortly on the Indian roads.

The initial unveiling of the power cruiser at the Auto Expo 2018 showed the motorcycle with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) with assist motor as well as an HD camera. Though, in order to keep the production cost under check, the brand will be skipping certain features for the production version.
As per the reports, the TVS Zeppelin will get major body parts inspired from the Apache RTR 200 including the headlight, instrument console as well as the switchgear. The motorcycle will feature an LED headlight setup with premium plastic cladding for the body panels.

The concept motorcycle was equipped with golden USD front forks to give it a distinguished look though, the brand is likely to replace them with conventional forks to meet the design requirements of every individual plus to keep the production costs in check. The rear end of the motorcycle will get an adjustable monoshock absorber.

The production version of the motorcycle is expected to get dual-channel ABS for added safety. The concept motorcycle was showcased with a contemporary brown and black colour scheme, which gives it a well-finished look while the retro-inspired headlamp adds on to its persona.

Mechanically, the TVS Zeppelin will be powered by a 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor, inspired from Apache 200’s engine. There is no information on the exact specs of the powertrain though, it is expected to generate higher output in comparison to the Apache RTR 200 4V.
The brand will most probably equip the power cruiser with a BS6-compliant engine. Being positioned in the TVS portfolio above the Apache 200, the TVS Zeppelin is expected to get a price tag of around INR 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Suzuki Katana 1000 India Launch Expected in 2020

Suzuki Katana 1000 has been recently showcased in India for the first time at the Auto Expo 2020. The motorcycle is based on the underpinnings of the GSX-S1000F while features a resurrected name that used to be undeniably famous under Suzuki’s portfolio back in the 1980s.

Powering the Suzuki Katana is a 999cc, in-line four-cylinder engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 150HP @ 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 108Nm @ 9,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle was initially showcased at EICMA 2018 in Milan as well as at the INTERMOT 2018 in Germany. The production variant of the sportbike is expected to be brought to the Indian market via the CKD route while the launch will most likely happen later this year.

Coming to the design language, the front fascia of the motorcycle reminisces the bits and pieces of the old Katana while features the twin-spar aluminium frame inspired from the Suzuki GSX-S1000F. The square headlight pays tribute to the older iteration of the motorcycle while the all-new shape of the fuel tank complements its sporty design. The neo-retro outlook of the motorcycle is further completed with a TFT display. In addition to this, the brand has also kept the “Katana” badge the same when compared to the last-gen motorcycle version.

The all-new Suzuki Katana 1000 features a fully-adjustable KYB 43mm USD forks at the front while the rear has been mated to a monoshock absorber. The braking power is offered by disc brakes at either side with Brembo/Nissin sourced callipers mated to dual-channel ABS as standard. Suzuki has equipped the motorcycle with switchable three-level traction control while the fuel tank capacity and the kerb weight stands at 12 litres and 215kg respectively.

German model maker Robert Gülpen has built the most expensive car model in the world – a 1:8 scale replica of the Lamborghini Aventador made from carbon, platinum gold and decorated with precious stones.

52-year-old Gülpen, who describes his creation as a “high-tech work of art” said he wanted to create something unique that has never been done before. A former mechanical engineer, Gülpen started making miniature car models from precious metals in the late 1990s and eventually became a renown miniature car model maker. He decided the cutting edge Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 would be the perfect choice for his greatest masterpiece. The body of the car is made from carbon, just like the original, and features around €2 million-worth of precious metals and stones. Metal was used for the detailed rims and diamonds were inserted into the seats, steering wheel and headlights.

It took the German artist 500 hours to complete the world’s most expensive car model, but he now stands to receive more than a fair compensation. His little Lamborghini Aventador is scheduled to be auctioned off in December, by Sotheby’s, in either Dubai or New York, with a starting price of €3.5 million, nearly 12 times more than a real Aventador LP 700-4 (€303,450). But, if a buyer doesn’t feel like waiting until then, they can pay €4.5 million and take home the car.
