Trazo C1.8 will be offered as a four-door sedan with exceptional value and fuel efficiency in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. The Trazo C1.8 will be built by Nissan Motor Co., providing Chrysler LLC a high-quality entry into these fast-growing markets.

“The new Trazo C1.8 by Dodge allows us to enter into a segment in which we currently do not compete,” said Mike Manley, Executive Vice President – International Sales, Marketing and Business Development, Chrysler LLC. “The Trazo C1.8 offers customers a high-quality vehicle with great value and provides our dealers with further opportunities to expand their business.”

The exterior of the Trazo C1.8 provides an athletic, yet modern design that is consistent with the rapidly growing Dodge brand. Trazo C1.8’s maximized 102.4-inch (260-centimeter) wheelbase and short front- and rear-overhangs create perfect proportions for city streets, while expressively long rooflines highlight the comfortable and spacious interior.

Trazo C1.8’s grille features intricate louvers that create a contemporary look while integrating the new Trazo emblem. Large halogen headlamps wrap around to front fenders and provide a striking appearance while improving illumination. These elements, combined with a sporty, integrated body-color front fascia, reinforce Trazo C1.8’s youthful looks.

Trazo C1.8’s side profile illustrates aerodynamic efficiency while highlighting generous passenger space within. A raked-back windshield improves Trazo C1.8’s drag coefficient to a low 0.31 Cd while offering a higher roof height for passengers seated in the front and rear. Clean and crisp body-side forms provide a look of sophistication and give balance to the large side glass that gives Trazo C1.8 passengers great visibility.

A well-tailored rear end completes the exterior design while hinting at Trazo C1.8’s cargo versatility. An efficiently shaped deck lid is sandwiched by large jeweled taillamps and provides a strong, integrated look with the wide C-pillar. The deck lid also sits nicely below the large rear window to avoid blocking the driver’s rear view. A large chromed license plate brow and centered Trazo line emblem atop the deck lid ensures the Trazo C1.8 is not a bland, run-of-the-mill four-door.

Space utilization and high-quality interior materials provide Trazo C1.8 with a generously sized interior, rewarding its passenger with comfort and craftsmanship.

Utilizing its longer wheelbase, an interior length of more than two meters front to back makes Trazo C1.8 by Dodge roomy and provides the space needed for an active lifestyle. An up-right seat height position in both front and rear seats allows plenty of leg room. Front-row seats are larger and more comfortable than most C-segment vehicles and deliver comfortable leg room at any position with little compromise to rear-seat passengers. A 60/40 split fold-down rear seat accommodates larger items, while adjustable head rests and a folding arm rest add comfort for up to five passengers on longer road trips.

The instrument panel of the Trazo C1.8 by Dodge duplicates the exterior’s elegantly simple design with a horizontal layout and very efficient use of space. The instruments are housed in three chromed ringed pods, nested in clear view through the sporty three-spoke steering wheel. The center stack contains easy-to-reach climate controls and audio system in addition to a covered storage compartment. A center console, with additional storage features and an ergonomically designed shifter location, flows seamlessly from the instrument panel and defines driver and front-passenger seating areas. Metallic accents on the instrument panel, door panels, steering wheel and other touch points finish off Trazo C1.8’s modern look.

The Trazo C1.8 by Dodge will be available with a 1.8-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder gasoline and E100 ethanol-capable engine with both automatic and manual transmissions. The Variable Valve Timing (VVT) powertrain offers fuel efficiency along with fun-to-drive excitement the Dodge brand is known for.

Quality is a priority for the Trazo C1.8 by Dodge. A three-year, 50,000-kilometer limited warranty is standard on Trazo C1.8, providing ownership confidence.

Chrysler and Nissan’s OEM Agreement
In January 2008, Chrysler LLC and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. formed an agreement for Nissan to supply Chrysler with a new car for sale in select Latin American markets. The Trazo C1.8 by Dodge will be supplied to Chrysler by Nissan on an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) basis in mid 2009.

The OEM supply agreement is the second product exchange between Chrysler LLC and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Around the city, on twisty mountain roads or on the highway, this engine delivers the performance and character that today’s middleweight rider demands.

Manufactured from high-tensile steel tubing, the all-new lightweight diamond-type frame gives the XJ6 Diversion a timeless and charismatic new look. Featuring dimensions and geometry that have been selected by Yamaha’s engineers to ensure easy handling and optimum controllability over a wide range of speeds, the XJ6 Diversion chassis combines style with substance. A low seat height allows riders to get their feet on the ground with ease, and with ABS available as an option, the XJ6 Diversion is sure to appeal to a wide range of customers throughout Europe.

Possessing a style, character and quality that makes it stand out in a crowd, the new XJ6 Diversion brings a new level of excitement to the middleweight category.

Engine

Newly-developed 600cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder engine
The XJ6 Diversion is driven by a newly developed 600cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder engine which has been specifically designed to produce brisk performance together with an easy, predictable and linear power band.

This new design employs the basic architecture of the highly successful FZ6 engine – and shares its bore x stroke dimensions. However, although the engine’s external appearance is similar to the FZ6, the XJ6 Diversion powerplant is equipped with a wide range of new model-specific features.

Virtually every major feature on the XJ6 Diversion engine is new, and the cylinder head, crankcase, intake/exhaust systems, clutch and shifter have been developed specifically for this new middleweight. By optimizing the new engine’s entire gas flow – from the air/fuel mixture right through to the combustion and exhaust processes – Yamaha’s team of engineers have successfully created a highly responsive and characterful new engine with a linear and rider-friendly torque character.

Engine Technical Highlights
• 600cc liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder 4-valve DOHC
• Redesigned inlet and exhaust
• Newly-developed high-compression cylinder head
• Slimmer inlet ports
• Revised cam profile
• Tuned for strong and linear low to mid-range torque
• One-piece cylinder and upper crankcase
• Rider-friendly linear power characteristics
• Bore x stroke 65.5 mm x 44.5 mm
• Lightweight forged aluminium pistons
• Four-hole two-direction fuel injection system
• 4-1 exhaust with midship muffler located beneath chassis
• 3-way catalyzer and exhaust O2 sensor
• New inner-push type clutch for easy action
• Redesigned shift mechanism for smooth and easy gearchanging

Chassis

Newly-designed tubular steel diamond-type frame
In order to be able to offer XJ6 Diversion riders strong all-round running performance, together with a low seat height and slim overall chassis dimensions, we have developed an all-new diamond-type frame. Until now, the choice for new riders looking for a ‘real’ full-sized cruiser has been limited to larger-capacity 1,000cc+ V-twin models whose higher weight and bulkier bodywork can sometimes be intimidating for less experienced bikers.

With its compact new high-torque air-cooled V-twin engine, as well as a long and low chassis, a low seat height, and class-leading modern styling, the easy-to-handle Midnight Star 950 opens up a new chapter in cruiser design. For 2009 those wild-at-heart riders of all ages will have the chance to own a genuine V-twin cruiser whose looks, image, character and performance ensure that it delivers real street credibility.

Although the machine benefits from the use of advanced Yamaha technology, great care has been taken to ensure that this new bike retains the essential simplicity of design that characterizes every classic cruiser.

For example, our engineers spent a great deal of time tuning the new exhaust system in order to accentuate the soulful low-frequency sounds and eliminate high frequency noise. Likewise, much effort was put into creating an efficient intake system which not only enhances performance, but also emits a good intake sound boost pulse feeling from low speeds right through to the high speed range.

The new Midnight Star 950 runs with a large-diameter 18-inch front wheel in order to lighten the handling feel and emphasize the bike’s image of lightness – and for ease of use and enhanced controllability, the fuel tank narrows considerably at the rear.

This extreme attention to every detail – however small – is evident throughout the machine, and the end result is a high quality machine which adds a new dimension to the cruiser world. With its high-torque V-twin air-cooled engine, steel fenders, belt drive and long and low style – as well as new-style classic cruiser looks and a simple, clean-cut design, the all-new Midnight Star 950 delivers full-sized performance with a lightweight feel and easy handling.

Engine

All-new high-torque 942cc air-cooled V-twin 4-valve SOHC design
In order to achieve the design team’s goals of creating a new generation cruiser with a lightweight feel and gutsy performance, the Midnight Star 950 is driven by a newly-designed high-torque 942cc air-cooled V-twin 4-valve SOHC engine with fuel injection.

For optimum low to mid-range performance, the 942cc engine runs with almost ‘square’ bore x stroke dimensions of 85.0 mm x 83.0 mm, and the highly efficient pent-roof combustion chamber delivers a compression ratio of 9.0:1. (For comparison, the Midnight Star 1300 features a bore x stroke of 100.0 mm x 83.0 mm, and a compression ratio of 9.5:1.) The combination of a 4-valve head with a pent-roof combustion chamber and a ‘square’ configuration gives the engine a punchy torque output for strong acceleration and rapid overtaking potential.

This compact new V-twin engine utilizes the same three axes (crankshaft/front cylinder cam/rear cylinder cam) as the larger-capacity Midnight Star 1300 to give a compact V-bank, but it has a very different power delivery character as a result of the elimination of the balancer mechanism. By not equipping this new V-twin with a balancer mechanism, our engineers have been able to enhance the pulse feeling and also minimize the new engine’s crankcase dimensions and weight.

In addition, the decision to adopt air cooling has given our designers more freedom in creating a clean and simple profile which further emphasizes the light feel and image of this new-generation cruiser.

This gutsy new 942cc 60 V-twin also features state-of-the-art internals, including lightweight forged pistons, a ceramic plated cylinder and highly efficient 4-valve cylinder head, as well as many newly-designed components including cams, valves, throttle body, oil pump, crankshaft, connecting rods, clutch, transmission gears, crankcase cover and exhaust system.

Engine - Technical Highlights
• All-new 942cc air-cooled V-twin 4-valve SOHC engine
• Bore x stroke 85 mm x 83 mm
• 9.0:1 compression ratio
• Compact 60º V-twin design
• Uneven firing interval at 300º and 420º
• Characterful pulse feeling
• Pent roof combustion chambers
• Strong low to mid-range torque
• Elimination of balancer shaft for reduced weight and stronger engine pulse feeling
• Specially-shaped tapered cylinder fin layout for classic V-twin style
• Right side-mounted air intake with tuned induction noise
• Large-capacity 3-litre air cleaner box
• Efficient fuel injection for instant response and reduced emissions
• Optimized squish area design for efficient combustion
• Forged aluminium pistons and ceramic composite plated cylinders
• Roller rocker arms for smoother engine performance
• Right-side 2-1 muffler and 3-way catalytic converter
• Smooth-shifting 5-speed transmission with straight-cut gear dogs

Chassis

New-design double-cradle steel frame
The Midnight Star 950’s new double cradle frame has been designed to deliver a lightweight handling feeling, and this has been achieved by designing a structure which offers varying degrees of rigidity in different areas in order to achieve an idealized rigidity balance. The new frame is especially rigid around the head pipe area, whilst the torsional rigidity is set at a relatively lower level in order to introduce a degree of forgiveness into the handling characteristics, which makes for high levels of surface feedback and increased rider comfort.

The relationship between the frame’s torsional, lateral and longitudinal rigidity levels has been carefully selected by our engineers following extensive testing, and the result is a chassis whose roadholding and handling characteristics complement the performance of the high-torque engine.

From an aesthetic point of view, the design of the new double cradle frame projects an image of simplicity and functionality, which perfectly matches the classic lines of the new air-cooled V-twin powerplant. The engine is mounted to the frame with rigid mounts, with one at the cylinder head and three on the crankcase, and by using the engine as a stressed member the overall chassis weight can be minimized. The four rigid engine mounts also help to accentuate the uneven firing pulse feeling, to give a characterful and enjoyable riding experience.

Chassis - Technical Highlights
• New-design double-cradle tubular steel frame
• 1,685 mm long-wheelbase, easy-handling chassis
• Low seat height of 675 mm
• 18-inch front wheel for light feeling steering
• 130/70-18 front tyre
• Newly designed lightweight 8-spoke aluminum wheels front and rear
• Front wheel: 18 x MT3.50; rear wheel: 16 x MT4.50.
• Classic front and rear steel fenders
• Slim 17 litre tapered teardrop fuel tank with wide and flat upper surface
• A long and low body with a “New-Style Classic” image
• Front forks with 41 mm inner tubes giving mm135 mm wheel travel
• Bottom link type Monocross rear suspension giving 110 mm wheel travel
• Front and rear suspension systems with optimized settings
• Large-diameter 320 mm front disc brake, 298 mm diameter rear disc brake
• Cast aluminium upper triple clamp
• New-design large-diameter multi-function instrument panel
• Belt drive system

COLOURS
Ocean Depth
Dark Red
Midnight Black

2009 Nissan 370Z

2009 Nissan 370Z Ready for LA Auto Show - Sneak Peak

All-New 2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe Readies For Debut

Nissan offers the first look at the upcoming 2009 370Z Coupe, which makes its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 19 November. >
Lexus IS F will come to market with a recommended retail price of $129,000* - significantly beneath its three major rivals.

The pricing represents an aggressive and determined bid by Lexus to take charge of the highly competitive sports luxury market.

It is as challenging as Lexus' launch in Australia in 1990, when it priced its first LS400 well below its established competitors as a means of establishing a new benchmark for the luxury market.

The Lexus IS F uses a compact five-litre V8 engine developing over 311kW and 505Nm of torque.
<span style=";font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:85%;" said Lexus chief executive John Roca.

"Almost 20 years ago we arrived in the luxury market and raised the bar in terms of build quality, specification and value.

"In 2008 we have targeted our performance car rivals," said Roca.

The IS F will compete directly with the performance flagships of other luxury marques.

IS F's price will allow Lexus to establish the "F" brand, and build credibility beyond its core "luxury" vehicle market.

"IS F enters one of the most competitive categories," Mr Roca said.

"This category is all about passion and brand values. With the IS F we have the brand values - the passion comes with the first drive.

"The core Lexus values are what will set us apart from the competition.

"Lexus is extremely excited about the arrival of the IS F and the new clientele it will bring.

"Furthermore, Lexus now has a hero car that will stimulate sales of other IS models," said Mr Roca.

*All recommended retail prices quoted exclude dealer delivery, government and statutory charges and optional extras, but include GST and LCT.

2009 Fuoss 01 Lightweight Trackcar

Single-seat central motor vehicle for the special Fahrfeeling
Distribution of the small series begins in the first quarter 2009
Favorable cost of insurance
With driving licence class B to move (early class 3) in the public traffic

It is so far. Aesthetic and technical. Visible and invisible. One of these is a basic principle of all TECHART products: quality original equipment manufacture.

The new TECHART Aerokit I for the new Porsche 911 model is characterised by its unrivalled exterior design and its inner values: optimal aerodynamic values, confirmed by wind tunnel tests and high quality polyurethane RIM throughout. And, of course, all produced at the company’s manufacturing site in Germany.

TECHART is presenting its programme for the new Porsche 911 models at the Essen Motor Show from 28 November to 7 December 2008.

TECHART Aerokit I for Porsche 911, model year 2009

Vehicles fitted with the TECHART Aerokit I demonstrate a passion for perfection, even at first glance. The result of development work and wind tunnel tests: a sporty and elegant appearance typical of TECHART as well as optimal driving stability thanks to reduced buoyant forces and balanced aerodynamics on the front and back axels.

The new front spoiler I emphasises the dynamics of the new 911, reduces buoyant forces on the front axle and ensures optimal air flow for the effective cooling of the brakes. The air inlets on the front of the vehicle also come with new decorative features. Sill panels emphasise the vehicle’s strong side lines.

A roof spoiler and three different types of rear wing enable precise aerodynamic adjustments to the back axel. The V4 Concept Model proposes a new, sensual design direction based on Honda's trademark 4-cylinder V- engine.

This year Honda celebrates its 60th anniversary as a company and next year the 50th anniversary of its participation in road racing, as well as the 30th anniversary of racing with an innovative 4-cylinder V-engine with oval pistons. Considering these milestones, Honda chose "The New Beginning" as its exhibition theme leading into 2009 and exhibited the V4 Concept Model which signifies the beginning of a new era.

For Intermot, Honda collected and exhibited successive V4 race machines as well as mass-market motorcycle products which were developed by feeding back the technologies cultivated through participation in challenging race competition, enabling visitors to review the lineage of 30 years of V4 engine technologies and see how Honda will take motorcycling somewhere it has not been before. The exhibition also offers an easy-to-understand introduction to various challenges Honda has undertaken in order to create joy for its customers, by utilizing its technologies that have been continuously advanced through Honda's 60-year history and by its participation in motorsports.

Honda understands the global trend today that motorcycle users see increasing value in more emotional and sensual performance during the real world riding experience rather than absolute performance measured in numeric specifications. On another front, user friendly features that meet with human sensibilities are also becoming important along with safety and environmental features, especially in mature markets.

Honda believes that the challenge to create attractive products with an increased focus on sensual performance will be the key for the future. At the same time, safety and environmental technologies as well as future energy technologies will continue to become an important theme for the development of motorcycle products. Moreover, in order to offer a comfortable life with motorcycles for a larger number of customers, Honda will put increased focus on the human-fitting match of rider and machine. Conceived around the trademark 4-cylinder V-engine, the V4 Concept Model expresses functional beauty as well as a more sensual image to appeal more to the emotions of people. Embodying Honda's passion for motorcycle development, the V4 Concept Model expresses the unique characteristics of Honda for a new era.

The V4 Concept Model mobilizes the driving forces of Honda - dreams, challenges, and creating new value. Honda positions this model as "the new beginning" of Honda's motorcycles.

2009 Toyota IQ Six Degrees of Innovation - The Steering

TOYOTA iQ: SIX DEGREES OF INNOVATION
Innovation No2: the Centre Take-off Steering Gear

The second in Toyota’s series of cut-paste-and-print guides to the ground-breaking design and engineering features of the new iQ looks at the benefits gained from using a centre take-off steering gear.

By saving space under the bonnet, Toyota has been able to achieve exceptional room inside iQ, creating a car that is less than three metres long, yet has four seats on board. Using a centre take-off steering gear for the Electric Power Steering (EPS), a first for a Toyota vehicle, is a key element in achieving this ultra-compact design.

On conventional rack and pinion steering systems, like those used in the Toyota Aygo and Yaris, the tie rods are connected to each end of the steering rack, while on a centre take-off system they are connected to the centre.

This configuration allowed Toyota to position the system above rather than below the engine and further back towards the bulkhead, reducing the car’s front overhang. The result is a smaller engine compartment and more cabin space.

Coming next: Innovation No3 – the flat, under-floor fuel tank.

Sign up with Blockbuster, Get 50% Off 2008 Fiat Bugster Concept - Leaked Photos

2008 Volvo XC60 - Making the Most of the Volvo Ocean Race

Volvo Cars makes the most of the Volvo Ocean Race

Why would a car company become involved in a sailing race? What is more, why would it purchase a complete race?
The answer is simple. The Volvo Ocean Race is the perfect match for the requirements Volvo Car Corporation sets for engaging in a sport.
The brand becomes even better known, the opportunities to meet customers and do business increase and the employees are motivated and stimulated.

Karin Bäcklund is the Volvo Ocean Race director at Volvo Cars and her objectives are crystal clear. "The Volvo brand name naturally becomes even better known when it is seen by millions of people all over the world. So it's important that we strengthen the aspects of the brand that are associated with excitement and adventure and help the company to be perceived as more emotional and not only rational."

The Volvo Ocean Race offers an excess of excitement and adventure. It is one of the world's most gruelling sailing competitions in which elite yachtsmen compete to see who can circumnavigate the globe most quickly. They need to know that they have the best possible safety equipment and can rely on it.

"As in every extreme sport, it's a question of respect for safety, using the equipment that is available. If you are safe, you can have more fun," says Karin Bäcklund.

World-class safety
She points out that Volvo's core values of safety and environmental care are interwoven with the sport in a natural manner. The boats that are used are absolutely world class in terms of both quality and technology and the actual competition is environmentally sound.

From year to year, the level of safety in sailing races has improved, just as it has in passenger cars. Nowadays, competitors are obliged to wear a life jacket and lifeline when they are on board and the situation demands it. GPS navigation is a technology that is used by cars and boats alike. In the Volvo Ocean Race, it is not simply an aid to navigation, it also enables the Race Office to see the location of the boat, together with its direction and speed, at all times. The moment anything dramatic happens, the Race Office is alerted. One new feature is that a substantial section of the bulb and bottom of the boat are painted in a fluorescent orange to be seen from the air.

Global exposure
The Volvo Ocean Race receives tremendous media coverage. The last race took place in 2005-06 and it was covered in 192 countries. The media figures are impressive. Over 1.8 billion viewers were able to follow the race, more than 17,500 articles were written and the total media value was USD 86 billion or in excess of SEK 533 billion. This extensive exposure not only enhances brand awareness, it also sells cars. There is clear-cut evidence that people who are aware of the Volvo Ocean Race are more likely to choose a Volvo as their next car.

"However, it isn't simply a question of the media. During the last race, 2.8 million people visited one of the stopovers. We are expecting even more this time," says Karin Bäcklund.

Guests can test-drive
At the stopovers, Volvo Cars will be presenting its cars and its core values at a large touring exhibition. All the invited guests, both Volvo's and those from the syndicates, such as Puma and Ericsson, will be offered the chance to take a test drive. At some of the stopovers, the general public will also be able to test-drive cars.

"We have a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with new and old customers and business partners in a setting where none of our competitors is present. This time, we are expecting a total of more than 15,000 unique Volvo guests for all the 11 stopovers."

On this occasion, interest will focus on two new features: the latest car model, the Volvo XC60 -cross-over, and the latest world first in safety, City Safety, the system that brakes the car if it is about to hit something at low speed. This is one way of reducing low-speed collisions at parking lots, for example.

Volvo XC60 to be launched at stopovers
Many markets will be co-ordinating the launch of the Volvo XC60 with the Volvo Ocean Race. In Spain, the local test drives of the Volvo XC60 will take place around Alicante in conjunction with the start. South Africa and Singapore are other countries that will be launching the car when the Volvo Ocean Race boats are in town.

"Volvo Ocean Race combines event marketing, sales, introductions, products and brand on the same occasion. This kind of setup means that we get so much more from the event," says Karin Bäcklund.

In 2008, three Volvo models are being sold in a special Volvo Ocean Race edition in either Ocean Blue or Electric Silver. It looks as though sales will total 8,500 cars.

Teamwork and high performance
Within the company, the links with the race are less a question of sails and nautical miles and more a matter of teamwork and performance. On board a 21.5-metre yacht, eleven people are not only obliged to share the limited space. At any given moment, they must also attempt to sail more rapidly and more intelligently than their fellow competitors. The parallels with the demanding automotive industry are obvious.

"The Volvo culture is also characterised by teamwork, collaborating across professional borders and what we call the ‘power of we' or team spirit. When it is given the opportunity to blossom, it can move mountains," says Karin Bäcklund.

Maruti Swift Accessories

<span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0); The i10, which was codenamed PA, had been creatign a buzz for a while and there was a lot of market interest in the new small car from the Hyundai stable. As it turned out, the new i10 proved to be both a cool package of features, well styled and designed and at a very aggressive price to boot.
Powered by a 1.1 litre iRDE petrol engine (a diesel version will debut first in the export market and later in India), the i10 offers nearly 67 PS A@5500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.1kgm@2800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with a console mounted ergonomic, short throw, i-shift gear box which frees up the space between the driver and the passenger seat and also offers a new look. An electric power steering makes it easy for i10 to negotiate city traffic.
The i10 has very decent cabin space. All the models have AC/ heating, folding rear seats, dual tone beige interiors, rear seat belts and an electronic trip and odometre as standard fitment. The top end model comes with features like a panoramic sun-roof (a first in the B-seg), rear spoiler, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, keyless entry and 2DIN audio system.

The flowing contours and large clear eyed headlamps and the new style front grille give the car a distinctive look. The light weight steel body is reinforced by body coloured bumpers with detachable inserts and an integrated air dam for the front bumpers. The suspension set up with Macpherson struts in the front and coil springs coupled with torsion bar in the rear ensures that the ride is smooth.
Features like full front and rear arm rest, plenty of leg and shoulder room for the rear seat and a tilt steering wheel all help make the drive smoother and more comfortable. A wider wheelbase of 2380 mm offers more cabin space.
Tubeless tyres are standard on all trims. The i10 also offers top end safety features like the ABS, seat belts with pretensioner, dual air bags, impact sensing autodoor and high mounted stop lamp in the rear.
The car is available in 10 colours. The company is offering the i10 with a two year unlimited warranty.
Hyundai i10 D-Lite 3,55,438
1086 cc, Petrol, Manual transmission, 5 seater

Hyundai i10 Era 3,92,639
1086 cc, Petrol, Manual transmission, 5 seater

Hyundai i10 Magna 4,17,805
1086 cc, Petrol, Manual transmission, 5 seater

Hyundai i10 Magna (O) 4,97,733
1086 cc, Petrol, Manual transmission, 5 seater
Hyundai i10 Magna (O) with Sunroof 5,14,21

Pulsar 300 cc FI

Above is the picture of Virtual stimulated photography of Pulsar claiming to be 300cc bike from Bajaj.

Bajaj has officially not announced any plans to launch 300cc right now in India. The Hunk will compete against other bikes like Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Apache and Honda Unicorn. Speaking at the launch, Anil Dua, vice president- sales and marketing, Hero Honda, said: "The contribution of the premium bike segment to bike sales this year has gone up from 10% to 14%. The market is growing and with the new model we will offer good choices to customers."
While the premium bike market has seen a steady increase in growth of about 30-33% in sales, bikes in the 100cc segment have seen a steady decline in growth rate. While the rising interest rates have affected sales in the entry level segment, they have not affected sales of bikes in the premium segment.
Even as Hero Honda remains as the market leader in 100cc segment with over 67% share, it is still to catch up with Bajaj, which is market leader in the premium segment. While Bajaj has a more than 60% market share, Hero Honda has around 18%. However, Hero Honda's has had a fast growth in this segment doubling its volume and share in the last nine months. Hero Honda’s overall share in the two-wheeler market stands at 52%. Arch-rivals Bajaj Auto had cut the prices of its 100cc bike - Platina by Rs 4,000 thus making it the cheapest entry level bike in India. Hero Honda too had cut prices of CD Dawn by Rs 2,000 but has not plans to offer any further discounts on any of its models. The Hunk will be commercially available by the end of this month across all the company's showrooms.

TATA

Safari Dicor 2.2 VTT
<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIJ4f-df2HB9ufIeQWDeJdzv2gVDbioObseO79Ewr8JKWrS09Oi-dfHSINNXzsoku25p6296UDxK_ohpOwQ3_25dbGV2Wnz4LCKZ2R1StLFC0t0kKhGkPj4ITFMXFI_FpiwMQ4YP5J2a-m/s1600-h/638b.jpg"target="blank"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIJ4f-df2HB9ufIeQWDeJdzv2gVDbioObseO79Ewr8JKWrS09Oi-dfHSINNXzsoku25p6296UDxK_ohpOwQ3_25dbGV2Wnz4LCKZ2R1StLFC0t0kKhGkPj4ITFMXFI_FpiwMQ4YP5J2a-m/s200/638b.jpg"target="blank"target="blank" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5134032068623951634" border="0" />DiCOR 2.2 VTT Engine: The new Safari Dicor is fitted with the new generation 2.2 L Dicor (Direct injection common rail) engine that is operated by a 32-bit electronic control unit and incorporates state-of-the-art technology. Renault Logan (also known as Dacia Logan) is a robust, reliable, economical mid-sizer. It has very good space and comfort is good too. Logan coming to India is stripped-down version of European Logan and will have very basic features only. This car is expected to do good in rural areas where Mahindra has better reach. This car will attract prospective Esteem/Indigo buyers and will succeed in breaking many of them. It would be very good option for people seeking a basic, reliable, contemporary sedan.
However, Mahindra has kept all the details secret as of now but if we believe that this is the same car as being sold in some European countries then we have got a little to talk about here.2630mm of wheelbase would be a class-leader and will provide ample legroom in front and rear both. 510 liters of boot-space would be more than adequate. Renault’s engineering and Mahindra’s dealer-network should give fantastic after-sales-services and reliability.1.4L, 76ps Petrol engine’s performance would be good enough unless they tune engine too much for better fuel economy. Car should have performance figures similar to that of Maruti Esteem With a top-speed of 155-160kmph and 0-100km in 13-14 seconds. Fuel economy for this car should be in 10-15 kmpl on city-highway roads.1.5L, 71ps Diesel engine too is good enough and is far better than its closest competitor, Tata Indigo. With a top-speed of 150-155 kmph and 0-100km in 16-17 seconds it will really be a boon at the price it is expected to be offered. This car should give 12-17 kmpl on Indian city roads/highways.
Quick Facts
Car Segment/Body style: Midsize/Sedan
Fuel Type: Petrol, Diesel
Engine: 1.4L (1390cc) Petrol, 1.5L (1461cc) Diesel
Max Power/Torque: 76ps/111Nm (Petrol), 71ps/160Nm (Diesel)
Dimensions (LxWxH): 4250×1975x1525 mm

Carwale Expects: Very much affordable, reliable, robust, entry-level sedan.
