A good budget alternative
Vehicle: 2006 Toyota Rav4 Limited (side airbags in front seats)

Installation: Professional (cost, 2.5hrs labor ~$125 total)

Comments from the installer:

1. These posts are the old style. The newer units come with screw in adapters. This type will not allow a tight fit, nor allow the headrest to stay up with notches.

2. These units will vibrate unless you secure them to the seat with some kind of epoxy. But then, you won't be able to raise them (which won't function properly anyway with the sleeve adapters).

3. You paid a great price for these, even given the limitations.

Comments from me:

Everything he said was true. The units work as advertised, and the looseness of the posts is noticed, but not horrible. I hardly notice.

The sound quality of the IR headsets is laughable. I would not waste any time using these. Situated directly in front of the unit, there is clear distortion. Move right or left even a few inches and the sound signal is lost. Clearly, you will be using different wireless IR headsets, wired headsets, the internal speakers or the radio transmitter. The other 3 options seem fine. I can't comment on radio transmitter in urban areas - the signal will probably degrade.

The video quality is OK. Not stellar. Comparing quality to the factory unit in our 2010 Sienna Limited is very noticeable. Expect to get what you pay for here, but that said - the quality is still acceptable for the application (keeping kids quiet!).

All in all, 3 stars is because of the mounting post limitation, wireless headset audio, video quality and installation instructions. You're paying for a 3 star product and you're getting a 3 star product.

Defective
My Tv's only lasted 3 months! Just after the 90 day warranty had expire the two Tv's stop working. Moreover, there is no manufacture warranty since the Tv's are fake. I contacted Sony and they are investigating the issue. Stay away they are fake copies!

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
beware don't buy from this seller! liars! bad communication and they refused to fix my product so instead they cut the wires and returned it to me and blamed me for cutting wires. they left me with no choice to ever be able to return the item. very mad! i only had it for less then 30 days. stay away!

Excellent Purcharse
Due the xmas rush i can't install these on arraiving, but once i have time it takeme about 15 minutes to install each, my daugther really enjoy it, she is 3 and no problem with any dvd region, rx to the original radio on my truck, usb, and sd, the entretainment prupose i bougth it for was fullfilled over my espectations.

DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!
After reading everyone's reviews, my wife and I decided to buy this unit -- what a mistake! After less than three months of only occasional use, one unit has stopped working entirely. We used it less than 30 minutes a day 4 or 5 days a week. That's it! And there were no small fingers touching it because our son is only one year old and too small to reach the DVD player. Because one unit broke, we turned on the second one, which had not been used since it was installed, only to find that It didn't work either. And did I mention it's never been used? What an absolute piece of garbage. And although we were aware that there was no warrantee on this product, our previous experience with Amazon sellers have always led to some sort of agreeable settlement with faulty merchandise. Not so with this seller, EliteAutoSoundSales. After informing them that we had obviously received a lemon, we received a curt email back from them saying it's been over 30 days and the return period has expired. Don't buy this product -- especially from this horrible seller. Now that I look back on the other reviews, I see that most of them focus on how easy it is to use and how it looks good -- but very few of them comment on the longterm quality of the player itself. I was fooled -- but please do not make the same mistake I did!

Nice but company behavior a problem
-DO NOT GIVE TOM TOM ANY MORE CUSTOMERS- I had this unit 6mo. The power is delivered to the bottom of the unit by a mini usb which is poorly designed and creates too much leverage inside the unit which cracked the connection inside the unit. Thus it would no longer power. First I like the Garmin approach where the power goes into a stand and you snap the unit into the stand (less wear and tear when you take it down to prevent it attracting car burglars). So I sent it back...6 weeks ago after a 10 day process to get a RMA#. They have no idea where my unit is in the repair process and no record of even receiving it. Customer service is in Riyadh according to the not helpful script reading automaton on the phone. It certainly is not this guys fault but I cannot see giving this company any more money until they correct their corporate contempt for their customers. I hope Garmin takes their map updating and traffic flow notions and gives us a better alternative.

WARNING when making updates
I've had many GPSs, I traded from a Garmin Nuvi that got me lost from Italy to Germany to this GO 930T. The Tomtom is better in my humble opinion, both in Eurpoe and the US, but I'll tell you what I hate about TomTom that no fine print will tell you: When you do a map upgrade it will wipe your "favorites" (saved addresses) and your downloaded voices. If you were lucky to Backup your device, you can go fish this file called MapSettings.cfg that resides under the map folder. But even copying this back to your device might put it in an endless loop of shutdowns without ever coming back to life until you dig the tomtom forums for an answer.

It would have taken one day of programming for TomTom home to ask you: DO YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR FAVORITES AND VOICES? and then let the software do just that and not let users have to resort to hours of Googling trying to get your favorite destinations back.

Another WARNING. This GO 930T comes with both European maps and North America, BUT if you upgrade either, the maps will be larger and you'll have to remove one of the two, unless you get an SD card of over 2Gigs...and that is not an easy to do operation if you're not a techy nerd like me!

Very Accurate Directions
The GO 930 hasn't let me down in the six months that I've owned it. The 4.3 inch screen shows maps very crisply and the large size makes it easy to view directions while driving. The directions have been very accurate and I have not gotten lost once since owning it! I am most impressed with the IQ Routes feature, it gives the best shortcuts allowing me to not be stuck in traffic unnecessarily. This helps me cut down the time I am in the car. All in all, I am happy with the GO 930.

Couldn't be happier. Travelled through europe and australia also with this. no problems buying and downloading extra maps. great product.

Too many flaws
This is my thrird TomTom GO, and my last one.

Cons:

- Maximum display brightness is much darker than on my GO 920

- Bluetooth remote takes 10 sec to connect

- Bluetooth remote works for the first three times after turning the device on, then no longer. You have to reset the unit (!) for it to work again, very annoying!

- One button on the Bluetooth remote requires you to push it hard in order for it to detect you pressed the button.

- Accuracy of house numbers is not perfect - sometimes 0.2 miles away.

- TomTom seems to be reluctant to fix such issues and instead rests assured that nobody will return the product for 2 weeks repair since they may not be able to live without it for so long.

Great Product...
I have owned this amp for a little over a year and have had zero problems with it. I have it running 2 10" Kicker L5 solos in the Kicker truck vented boxes. The system is in my 2002 single cab GMC Sonoma really pounds.I upgraded my battery to a Kinetik 1400hd because the amp pulls alot of current. Overall i could not be happier with my purchase. 5 stars to Kicker. Would buy again.

Extremely powerful for a great price.
I did some research to find the best amp for my limited cash. This was mention a few times, but not nearly as much as the zx 1000.1. I went ahead and bought this amp anyways. I am extremely impressed. Right now I have it set up with 2 kicker comp vr 12"'s in a sealed box and man, this thing hits so hard... I got my neighbor who lives about 30 yards away to come out of his house screaming at me to "turn that **** noise off". I was rattling my house's windows.

If you're considering this amp, buy it now. You will not regret it.

Also thank you kicker for listing the RMS Watts instead of Max Output!

On POINT!

This amp by far packs the biggest punch in a small package that I've ever seen. I always went for the amps that were "supposedly" packing alot of power(1200- 2000 watts). Needless to say, this little bad boy out performed all 1500 watt amps that I ever dealt with. Kicker is the undisputed amp king.

I used A smittybilt raised winch plate on my 2005 rubicon.. Everything bolted up perfect ! I had it outta the box installed under an hour... WONDERFUL WINCH !!

Great product, great price, slow shipping but free. Easy to install and works as well as any winch in its class regardless of price. The only draw back is weight. This is a heavy winch!

Warn who?
Awesome winch. Super price and quality. Have used many times in mud and snow and it is powerful and doesn't sap my battery. Mounted perfectly in my XHD modular winch mount bumper. I did not have any hardware problems. The square nuts fit perfectly in the winch "legs". Due check on dimensions for your winch plate and the dimensions of this winch. Especially bumpers where winch is "in" the bumper. Most winches like Warn have the drum for winch line offset more due to how the motors are. The Superwinch is pretty even off both sides of drum. My XHD Modular bumper had two sets of winch plate holes to accomodate these differences. From what I've seen the winch bumper industry is now aware there are players other than Warn. Buy with confidence. This thing rocks and looks good doing it. 04 TJ Rubicon.

Easy Install
Installation was very easy and the winch worked exactly as advertised. This is my second Superwinch and I have never been let down. I think this one will lift a house.

Good product, hardware lacking!
I've been very pleased with this winch after a difficult installation... At one point I used this to drag the bottom out from under a 60ft poplar tree that wedged into the ground and hung up on another tree after I cut it. I know from the past that a come-along or even dragging with chains wouldn't have budged it. Speed is also faster than most.

HOWEVER, the bolts I received with the winch (1/2in) would not even fit through the mount holes! I went and bought 4, 7/16in grade 8 bolts and the nuts fit in the right side of the winch but not the left(?!) 3/8 was too small so I had to grind down 3 edges on the head of 2 of my 7/16 nuts to get this to mount, a royal pain! Great product though so I guess it's worth the trouble.

Also, I'd recommend going to a steel wholesaler and getting 1/2in plate steel to drill and mount to, save a LOT of money off the retail plate. Go to myspaceDOTcom/jbtvt and click pics to see the process I used.

Gentran 3028k Transfer switch
Overall, this unit is all one needs for the standard house. As an electrician myself, I found it relatively easy to understand and to install. I did make a few changes though, and that was to change the 20 amp and the 30 amp DP breaker to 15 amp SP. as I had no use for the larger ones. They were easily attainable at Menards. I also brought my essential circuits directly into the Generator panel, thus eliminating the need of running "through" the main panel. This is easy to do on a new house installation. the kit was as decribed and the price for that particular watt and kit was the cheapest for the money and quality around. the great thing about that unit is that the curcit breakers are standard unlike most units and interchangable to any configure. as long as you keep within the max wattage and a common breaker which you can purchase anywhere. would recommend this to anyone looking for a tranfer switch kit.

perfect
everything (except for a breaker for the main box) in this one package. So far this thing has done exactly what i expected.....my power not gone out one time since purchasing, so I've never actually used it!!!!! Exactly what I was hoping for when i bought it!

Great Kit
Unit was very easy to install, took longer to plan which circuits I wanted to power. As mentioned by other reviews, I did have to switch out some of single breakers for dual pole to get to the 10 circuits which also required some additional wire.

Bought it in combo with the Generac GP 7000E. The manual transfer switch kit came with 25ft generator cord, plugs and everything I needed to connect to my load center. I can run 10 circuits and almost everything in my house except the AC. Ran it for about 8 hours with partial load on one tank of gas.
