On the 22nd of May 2007, an autoshow officially known as the PLUS 2nd LINK Autoshow Fiesta 2007 was held at the 2nd LINK R&R, Johor Bahru. This event was organized by PLUS, 2nd LINK and Gabungan Kelab Kereta Belia Berkereta Negeri Johor and attended by officials from PLUS, 2nd LINK and YB Aziz Sapian, the State Ministry of Sports & Youth Deputy Director. According to Shahifudin Sulaiman, Chairman of Gabungan Kelab Kereta Belia Berkereta Negeri Johor, the PLUS 2nd LINK Autoshow Fiesta 2007 was aimed at creating a new venue for motoring enthusiasts to show-off and display their creativity. This event can also be seen as a gathering venue for motoring clubs from all over the state. “I would say that this event is a success and there are plans in turning it into an annual event,” he added. Apart from the autoshow, visitors were also able to try out their karting skills at the temporary go-kart circuit set-up by Kartquest.

During the charging cycle the IC regulator may not be able to match the battery loads, generating electrical spikes and voltage fluctuations. Spikes will affect the timing circuitry or damage the ECU. Voltage fluctuations will effect the analog/digital functions of sensors and turn-on-off time of the EFI actuators. Then incomplete engine combustion will occur. Incomplete combustion means loss in torque and power, carbonized pistons, polluted exhaust, increase in fuel consumption and increase of cost of ownership. When Max-Zone is installed the battery will be desulphated and the demand for charging energy is less. Thus, some of the 1-2kW of useful power is saved from the engine. With the load removed, the useful power can be transferred to the wheels, therefore resulting in torque and power increase, smoother acceleration with a quieter engine, lower fuel consumption and lower cost of ownership. A new battery has 100% charge with specific gravity of 1.265 SG and open circuit voltage of 12.73V.

Once again we were at Speedway Circuit PLUS for the 2nd round of the IGKC or Interclub Go-Kart Challenge 2007. Most would know by now that this interclub event, which is held during the first weekend of each month, is open to all especially car club members and corporate groups. What better way to spend a weekend than to be able to mingle with other club members while putting to test your driving or racing skills all at a very affordable price. That’s what IGKC is all about, besides for the winners there is also a few ‘goodies’ in store! TAVAC, a club for Toyota Avanza owners was established in the month of May 2005. Recently, they organized a Charity Drive and Anti Drug Convoy to the East Coast. The event was launch at Dataran Merdeka by Tuan Azemin, a director of Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan, Kuala Lumpur. This charity drive was also supported by Biro Membasmi Dadah and UMNO Malaysia.
