This gorgeous family was our last family of the day at a recent Portrait Party, and as we got started, the sun was slipping away pretty quickly, so we had about 10 minutes to get all our shots. It was a hectic shoot, so good thing all the kids were so sweet and easy to work with, and so photogenic!! They were a fun family to photograph, and such good sports about having to rush around so much.
I haven't seen the Evermans since they came for Oskar's newborn
session. The boys have grown up so much and they are just adorable.

My very best friend has five amazing children, and I've had the pleasure to know each of them since they were just little babies. This is her oldest, Payton, one of the smartest, sweetest, precocious 10-year old girls I have the pleasure of knowing. I don't often get a chance to just photograph one of the kids on their own, so I had such a blast spending a few minutes focusing (get it? focusing? hehe) on just Payton for a while. She is growing from an adorable little girl into a beautiful young lady, and I am honored to have captured this moment in-between.
This little guy is one of my Baby Planners, and I was so excited to shoot his 8 month portrait session! This is one of my favorite ages to shoot, and Christian did not disappoint!
He was charming, adorable, drooly, hand-chewing, and delightful. I can't wait to get my hands on him for his one year portrait!!

What is a Portrait Party? A Portrait Party has a Hostess, that's you. The sessions take place at your home or at a local park (weather permitting). The Hostess invite the Guests and provide light refreshments, and schedules the Guests to arrive on a staggered schedule so no one has to wait too long.
The Hostess pays NO sitting fee AND gets 10% of the total Party sales as credit toward her own order. The Guests pay a deeply discounted sitting fee per child. Indoor studio sessions are only $25 per child, outdoor natural light sessions are only $15 per child. The Photographer shoots a 10-15 minute session per child.
Within 3 weeks, we post the images online where Guests can view and order the images from their sessions. The prints are shipped within 1 week, just in time for holiday gift-giving. You can also purchase digital files so you can print them yourself.
All sessions are guaranteed, so if you don't like them, you get your sitting fee back in full, no questions asked. That won't happen though, because we are really, really awesome.

So now that we are moving (read the article below for details), we won't need all the furniture in here, or the beautiful samples adorning our walls.
On Wednesday, July 29th we are having an Open House Studio Sale, from 9am to 6pm.
If you have sample images of your children on our walls or on our shelves, come on by and
take a look. Some of the samples are going up for display in local
businesses, but you can have first pick if you'd rather take them home
with you! All of the samples are either framed or on canvas, so you
can take them home and hang them right on your walls. We also have collages, purses, jewelry, albums, and more. Samples are
available at 1/2 price from our normal price list.
All
of our furniture is available for sale... after Wednesday, it's going
on eBay! All of the furniture in the studio is brand-new, purchased
for the
studio last year, and comes from Thomasville, Pottery Barn, California
Closets, or is custom made. 
Everything
in our kids' play area is available, including the Land of Nod toy
storage bookcase, the chocolate velvet mini-couch, the Pottery Barn
Carolina table & chairs, and the ultra-popular kitchen playset with
all the accessories.
In the Baby Station, we have a beautiful brand-new Pottery Barn changing table in perfect 
condition with the matching Sabrina XL baskets and a brand new pad. The cute wooden diaper pin wall hanging is also available.
The
meeting area has a set of three bookcases from Thomasville, perfect for
a media center. Each shelf has a storage drawer underneath for dvds,
games, remotes, etc.
We are also selling our microfiber couch
and swiveling circle chair. Both were specifically purchased because
they are ultra kid-friendly, as they are stain-resistant and clean very
easily.
In the entry, we have a sofa table/console from Thomasville, with a glass top revealing a display shelf below. 
We
are also selling our huge 7-piece desk wall unit from Thomasville.
This is a beautiful set that includes a desk with a storage hutch, two
cabinets with storage hutches above, and a matching wooden chair. All
the pieces are from Thomasville, from their Worklife collection, and
they can be rearranged in a variety of layouts.
In our shooting
room, we have brand-new custom cabinets from California Closets in
their Chocolate Pear finish. These are attached to the wall, so they
would need to be disassembled and reinstalled in your space.
Last
is our custom-built buffet with a cool rustic finish. There are three
drawers and three sliding glass-paneled doors. It's a one-of-a-kind
cabinet, and my favorite piece in the studio, but there is just no room
for it at home!
We are also thinning out our collection of custom tutus, hats, wings, and other studio props.
Also,
in the year we've been in the retail space, my garage has been taken
over by twin stuff that we no longer need, like 2 cribs, 2 high chairs,
a double and single jogging stroller, baby monitors, a baby gate, and
other twin baby stuff. That's all gotta go to make room for the
studio, so it's all for sale as well. Got a baby (or two!) on the way,
we've got you covered!

In our current economy, so many families have to forgo custom
portraiture so they can live within their budgets. Many of our clients
have expressed regret at not being able to come in as often as they
like, or take home as many of the images they've fallen in love with.
As
much as we wanted to lower our prices to accommodate the realities of
our new economy, our increased overhead due to the new studio space
just didn't allow it.
We've decided to move the studio back
home, where it was for almost a decade prior to our move into a retail
space last year. This will allow us to lower our overhead
significantly, which in turn will allow us to offer our services to
your family at a price that won't break the budget.
What does this mean for you?
First,
and best of all, the decrease in overhead means lower prices on our
sessions. Our full session fee is dropping from $250 down to $150, and
our mini sessions are dropping from $125 down to $95.
Our
studio sessions will take place in the garage studio I've used for
years, or for an additional fee, we can come to you! For the first
time ever, we are offering an in-home service where we set up our
studio in your home or garage. This will make newborn sessions so much
easier, as you won't even have to leave your house to capture those
fleeting first days. Fees will vary depending on location.
I'll
still be working with our talented Associate Photographers, which
allows us to offer so much more than just family portraits. With so
many backgrounds and specialties, we can offer other types of
services. We now offer commercial photography for products, offices,
restaurants, buildings, you name it. We also shoot events and
weddings, headshots for actors and models, Senior portraits, executive
headshots for professionals, and so much more.
As we speak,
we are getting ready to launch an exciting new offshoot, Pin-Ups by
Portlyn (one of our ultra-fabulous Associate Photographers), featuring
glamorous retro portraiture shot in the style of 1940's pin up
artists. Watch your inbox for details as we progress!
Another
change as the result of the move is the process of viewing and ordering
images from your session. We will no longer have in-person ordering
sessions. We will return to online ordering, which will allow you to
share the slideshow of images with your friends and family. Now you
can view and order your images from the comfort of your own home, on
your schedule.
We will also eliminate our minimum order
requirement for cds of digital files of your session. We know how much
you love to archive your own images, be able to print them whenever you
want, and share them with family. We will return to our previous low
prices for retouched and print-ready digital files on CD.
We
will be moving at the end of this month, right after our Christmas In
July promotion ends. Our new prices and procedures will be in effect
starting August 1st.
We hope our new prices will allow you to come see us soon to create images that will last a lifetime.

Last Chance to Purchase Digital Files & Place Orders
Due
to the high volume of sessions we've done since we opened the new
studio, we can no longer archive images from completed sessions. We are
clearing out our archives this week to make room for new images.
If you currently have images on file and want to place orders for prints, 
canvas,
collages, handbags, jewelry, storybook albums, or any of our other
products, this is the last week to place those orders. Call our studio
or email autumn@autumnhullphoto.com asap to book your View/Order appointment. We'll project your
images on the screen and help you make your order selection.
If
you want to archive your own sessions, you can purchase a disk with
your complete set of high-resolution, retouched, printable images. 
Our
normal price for digital files is $1600 for a complete set, but they
are now available for only $125 - $300 per session, depending on the
number of images in your session.
You can order your archive
disk via email or over the phone, and we can burn them to a disk for
