I can’t help but point out how unflattering the silhouette is. Even on this petite, lovely model it just hangs like a bizarre alien skin. I’d be interested to see this on a few different body types to see if it looks different. As a petite girl I would never wear it, I’d drown in it.

I decided to skim through a lot of your collection articles today, so apologies for the rather late response :p

I think that the idea of the models being extremely lanky and almost alien like in looks IS the idea here. To look almost “non-human, if you will. Mugler has always been on the fence between fashion and futurism. Both him and Gaultier set standards for designers like Gareth Pugh and Olivier Theyskens. They continue to pave the way for people who push the limits in fashion, and thank heaven for that. I don’t need another Marc Jacobs. *yawns*

For some reason the links for the PDF and PRINT versions go to last month’s magazine. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
