Something exciting is circling the Magic Kingdom -- literally.

First it was the "Tronrail" in 2010, as two of the Walt Disney Word monorails were decked out in honor of the Tron: The Legacy movie. But on April 2, Marvel Studios in partnership with Disney's ownership of Marvel comics has launched a Marvel-themed monorail on the Orlando property's express run between the Magic Kingdom and the Ticket and Transportation Center.

The Avengers wrap makeover shows a number movie characters in action, a burst of electricity and the movie logo along the length of the vehicle, and is meant to celebrate the May 4 opening of the film, which features characters such as Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk and Black Widow.

Among the stars in the film are Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson.

This could quite possibly be the biggest boost to the film yet, but we all remember what a stir the Tronrail caused when it debuted, spurring Disney purist to become outraged that the theme park would put what they considered to be advertisements on the monorail.

Even though the Tronorail vehicle never went into the Magic Kingdom itself, only into EPCOT’s Future World section because Disney felt it would be more appropriate there, it was not embraced.

Still, the Magic Kingdom has forged ahead.

Rumor also has it that during the Walt Disney Company's annual shareholders' meeting earlier this month, Disney President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger said there were plans to incorporate Marvel into other Disney properties.

Iger hinted that in a few places around the world--Southern California's Disneyland included-- that Marvel characters will appear either in attractions or lands or in some form, to provide entertainment like other Disney characters do.

He also said the Avengers train will run through the summer.

What's next?

An Iron Man flight simulator would be cool.

For the true ‘Avengers’ die-hards out there, and maybe those that missed out on seeing one of the previous Marvel Studios movies that have been building to this summer’s release of The Avengers in theaters.

This is for you.

AMC Theatres is going to be hosting something they call, “The Ultimate Marvel Marathon”.

A superhero event that will be held on May 3rd starting at 11:30 am, designed to treat fans to a montage of six Marvel movies leading up to the midnight release of The Avengers Movie on May 4th.

Yes you heard it correct, and in the order of their original theatrical release and in 3-D where applicable, the showings will include Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk (no Mark Ruffalo), Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America before finally showing the long-anticipated grand finale ,"The Avengers in 3D" at midnight.

For the price of $40, you can see all six films back on the big screen, receive free Avengers 3D glasses, and a $5 AMC Stubs card for future use.

Tickets for this event are already being sold, and went on sale late Sunday night on March 11th. As of now, there are 10 cities with theaters involved, but that is subject to change.

The cities are: Boston, MA (Boston Common 19); Burbank, CA (Burbank 16); Anaheim, CA (Downtown Disney 12); Aventura, FL (Aventura 24); New York, NY (Empire 25); Paramus, NJ (Garden State 16); Lake Buena Vista, FL (Downtown Disney 24); San Francisco, CA (Metreon 16); Lynnwood, WA (Alderwood 16); McLean, VA (Tysons Corner 16).

While this is a bit limited. if you are near one of the areas, if you are serious fan of the series like we are, you are going to want to get your tickets now. This is going to be a fantastic event, that any faithful would kill to be a part of, as they anxiously await the screening of what will be the biggest Hollywood blockbuster of the year.

Well, it does not look like director, Joss Whedon is going to give up any information on the villains for the upcoming ‘Avengers’ movie any time soom. He has seemingly dodged most questions on this subject, and the one bit of information he actually came clean with was to say who it was not going to be.

He debunked all of the rumors that it could be either the Skrulls, the Kree, or even cosmic tyrant Thanos. When last heard talking about the supposed bad guys of the upcoming film, he quickly switched to talking about the disadvantages of working with what seems like an unlimited budget.

"When you can have everything, everybody wants to give you everything, and then it's very hard to make things feel real. To make things feel lived in," said Whedon, "So we had to work hard at taking the big budget out of the movie. Too much (money) is not a good thing. We have to think more creatively about cutting the budget and limiting ourselves.”

Nevertheless, despite Whedon's avoidance, a blurb in a press release regarding the Avengers' toyline put out late in 2011, sparked rumors that there would be a secondary villain in the upcoming The Avengers Movie, who will be working alongside Thor’s evil brother Loki.

This has sent the Avengers' faithful into a frenzy as it has been long speculated that The Avengers movie would boast more than just one villain.

To add fire to the fury, the movie's teaser trailer and a set of unofficial photos only further implied that the superhero team would indeed be facing a threat from more than one rogue baddie--Red Skull.

The last time fans saw Red Skull was in final moments of Captain America The First Avenger, when he vaporized HYDRA commander with the power of the Cosmic Cube. The very same cube that apparently does multiple reality-altering tasks, including transporting a certain villain through time and space.

In the past, Red Skull has used the energies of the Cosmic Cube to wage battle with Captain America. as well as to threaten the entire Marvel Universe, so The Avengers movie could benefit by using the same story line.

So fans, will we actual see Red Skull in The Avengers, commanding an army of alien attackers while working in juxtaposition with Loki?

It looks like we are going to have to be patient, and wait until the 4th of May to figure out just who the bad guys are for the summer hit.

It's almost time for the release of Marvel Studios "The Avengers" to hit theaters soon.

Based on the Marvel Comics superhero team that goes by the same name, this film is for sure going to not only satisfy the average moviegoer but comic-con professor alike. The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man are some of the characters that will be seen when the film hits later this year.

Trailer

A new trailer has recently surfaced for the upcoming film “The Avengers”, and people are already clamoring for more.

The film is set to debut on May 4th of this year, and will have a number of stars appear on the big screen. Those include the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, and Samuel L. Jackson. Quite the cast for a single movie, even if it is “The Avengers” we are talking about.

This is the second trailer for the movie now, as the first one was released some time ago now. Fans everywhere have been begging for more since that day, and I have to say that they were not disappointed with what they received.

UK Name

Over in the UK, this movie goes by a different name. It will be titled “Avengers Assemble” to avoid confusion with a popular British TV series. As this was a popular series that was eventually made into a movie on the big screen in 1998.

Sequel

This movie is still almost two full months away from being released, and they are already discussing a sequel. When talking about the sequel, director Joss Whedon is on record of saying that he would want the sequel to be “smaller”. A completely fresh experience instead of just a rehashed version of the original.

Leaks

The website of Comic Book Movie recently got their hands on an early copy of the movie tie-in story book for the Avengers. They posted the majority of it to their website of the same name, but it was quickly taken down at the request of the studio.

It was said to have shown a number of new scenes. Along with that of course comes spoilers to the plot itself. A lot of unanswered questions were answered with these scans, so it is no wonder that the studio would order them down as fast as possible.

Marvel has officially announced their casting decisions for the Warriors Three in the upcoming Thor movie.

"Fandral will be played by Stuart Townsend. The job of Hogun goes to Tadanobu Asano. And Volstagg will be portrayed Ray Stevenson (King Arthur)."

For those of you asking "who the hell are the Warriors Three?" they're three of Thor's fellow Asgardians who often fight along side our hammer-wielding hero.

Volstagg (the defacto leader of the Warriors Three) was presumed killed when Thor triggered Ragnarok, but instead was merely trapped in a human body. After being freed all three warriors lived in the new Asgard which Thor created.

"Chuck's" star, Zachary Levi, had apparently been set to play Fandral but with production launching in January, his series commitment apparently made that impossible.
