This item was awesome!! Loved that I could cook dinner and the baby could be fed at the same time. Loved it in the car seat!! Hated trying to prop a blanket. Everyone props and it doesn't work and is dangerous. Great for the high chair or bouncy seat too! Was worried that they might get too much milk and choke, but the my little one would just push the bottle out of his mouth when he was done. Love that it has a bib built in so when he does do that it

These bottles are great. I have 6 of them, I use them every day.

Here's what I like about them: The angle on the neck is very nice, especially when feeding baby in a car seat. They are easy to clean. The tall and skinny design makes them easy to pack a few in a diaper bag. I have used them for 4 months now and have not had to replace any parts. They really are vented. I have a few glass bottles that are nothing fancy and I have to yank them out of my baby's mouth several times during a feeding because the pressure buildup causes the nipple to collapse and eventually nothing gets through. With the VentAire, air actually gets pulled in through the bottom and pressure never builds. Water never leaks out the holes on the bottom as I initially suspected.

Beware: You must screw the bottom piece on tight. Also, you must take every piece apart when you clean the bottles. It is kind of a lot of pieces, but all the bottles out there that allow for air flow, have multiple pieces. It's just the way of things.

I started to use these bottles for my 2 month old son when I began expressing milk in preperation for my return to work and he loves them. I tried a few others and he had a hard time latching on to the nipples, but he got it on the first try with this one and has no problem going back and forth between bottle and breast. I would give this 5 stars but I chose 4 because it is a spendy bottle (nearly $6 for ONE)but worth the cost for a happy baby. Also, I have a hard time putting the nipple back in the ring, so I just make my husband do it! :) I would also prefer a bottle that is angles because it'd be easier...when the bottle gets really low I have to lay him back all the way so that he can get it all. But like I said we all love this bottle more than any others we have tried and I recommend it...especially if your baby is still breastfed also. For our first baby born in July '07, we used (and loved) the original Polycarbonate Avent bottles the first few months. Then the BPA paranoia overtook us, and we switched to Born Free bottles, which are made of honey-colored Polyether Sulphone (PES). The Born Free bottles worked well enough, but we hated the 2 extra complicated parts per bottle that we had to clean. For our second kid born in Sept '09, we wanted badly to switch back to Avent, but read poor reviews of the PES BPA-free Avent bottles (apparently they leaked for many users). Fortunately, right around that time, Avent introduced a second line of BPA-free bottles made of the cloudy Polypropylene (PPE), and initial reviews indicated that Avent fixed the leaks (by adding a simple removable collar between the bottle and nipple). After 1 month of using these new PPE Avent bottles, I can attest that they indeed don't leak, and I don't need to take special care or do any procedure to make them leak-free. They just don't leak. Yes, the newly added collar is an extra part to clean, but at least it's a simple part that's easy to clean. So for all you Avent fans out there, take heart! Avent fixed the leaks. Tip: the leaky PES honey-colored bottles come in yellow-colored boxes. The new leak-free PPE cloudy bottles come in blue-colored boxes. This warmer is simple, easy to use and effective. It is not as fancy as some of the other models on the market, but after trying three other brands I like this one the best. You plug it in, fill it with water (spoon included), and put in the bottle until it's warm. The spoon makes it easy to add the right amount of water (especially in the middle of the night -- you don't have to measure out milliliters like some of the other warmers!) It's also quiet, unlike some of the other brands that have loud beeping sounds. This is the only warmer I found that is good for glass or plastic bottles (although the holder is relatively narrow and will not hold a wide bottle. It is not designed for disposable bottles, either.) The only downside is that it you have to remember to unplug it and pour out the old water each time you use it.
