I have the same problem. My PC uses Windows XP Professional version 2002, Service Pack 2. This problem arises when I type a document in English using MS Word 2003.

After installing Avro version 4.51 on my PC, which has Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2, I have a problem typing a Microsoft Office Word 2003 document. When I press the [@] key, I get ["] on the page instead of [@]. And when I press the ["] key, I get [@] on the page instead of ["]. Mr. Mehdi Hasan or any member of this forum please help me to overcome this problem. I use Bangla (India).

Dear satyapriyananda. I am also facing exactly the same problem with my " and @ while typing a MS Word 2003 document in English. I have Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2. Could Mehdi Hassan or any forum member please help me to overcome this problem.

You have two solutions.
1. To write কে type ক then ে and similarly ক then ো to write কো.
or
2. Select "Old style typing" from "Options". after that type ে then ক to write কে.

ok... but some of my friends also facing the same problem... have u seen my attachments... there r also some graphical problem... it doesn't show the full character
