" اے میرے پروردگار ! میں نے تیرے لئے اپنی محبت کو خالص کر دیا ہے اور اپنے دل کو تیرے غیر ( کی محبت) سے دھو ڈالا ہے- ( لیکن اپنے اہل و عیال سے بہت محبت کرتے تھے) "

خداوند _عالم نے فرمایا :

" اپنے جوتے اتار دے ، یعنی اگر تیری محبت میرے لئے خالص ہے اور تیرا دل غیر سے دھلا ہوا ہے تو اپنے دل سے اپنے اہل و عیال کی محبت بھی نکال دے"

Truly Inspiring and amazingly beautiful story!!

What touches me the most is the quote from the holy Quran: "Before they call for prayer, I will answer all prayers!"
plz read on...I hope we all get to learn something from this!

This story was written by a Muslim doctor who worked in Africa.

One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do she died leaving us with a tiny
premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter. We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive, as we had no incubator.
(We had no electricity to run an incubator.) We also had no special feeding facilities. Although we lived on the equator,
nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts.

One student midwife went for the box we had for such babies and the cotton wool the baby would be wrapped in. Another went to stoke up
the fire and fill a hot water bottle.
She came back shortly in distress to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had burst. Rubber perishes easily in tropical climates.
And it is our last hot water bottle!" she exclaimed.

It is no good crying over spilled milk, so in Central Africa it might be considered no good crying over burst water bottles.
They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest pathways.

"All right," I said, "put the baby as near the fire as you safely can, and sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts.
"Your job is to keep the baby warm."

The following noon, as I did most days, I went to have prayers with any of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me.
I gave the youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about the tiny baby.
I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm enough, mentioning the hot water bottle. The baby could so easily die if it got chills.
I also told them of the two-year-old sister, crying because her mother had died.

During the prayer time, one ten-year-old girl, prayed with the usual blunt conciseness of our African children.
"Please, Allah," she prayed, "send us a water bottle. It'll be no good tomorrow Allah, as the baby will be dead, so please send it this afternoon."

While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added by way of a corollary, "And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly
for the little girl so she'll know You really love her?"

As often with children's prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I honestly say, "Ameen?" I just did not believe that Allah could do this.
Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything. The Holy Qur'an says so. But there are limits, aren't there?
The only way Allah could answer would be for a package to arrive from the homeland.

I had been in Africa for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever received a parcel from home. Anyway, if anyone did send
me a parcel, who would put in a hot water bottle? I lived on the equator!

Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses' training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door.
By the time I reached home, the car had gone, but there, on the verandah, was a large twenty-two pound parcel.

I felt tears pricking my eyes. I could not open the parcel alone, so I sent for the orphanage children. Together we pulled off the string,
carefully undoing each knot. We folded the paper, taking care not to tear it unduly. Excitement was mounting.

Some thirty or forty pairs of eyes were focused on the large cardboard box. From the top, I lifted out brightly colored, knitted cotton jerseys.
Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children looked a little bored.
Then came a box of mixed raisins and sultanas that would make a batch of buns for the weekend.
Then, as I put my hand in again, I felt the...could it really be? I grasped it and pulled it out -- yes, a brand-new, rubber hot water bottle, I cried.
I had not asked Allah to send it; I had not truly believed that He could.

The ten year old was in the front row of the children. She rushed forward, crying out, "If Allah has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!"

Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small, beautifully dressed dolly. Her eyes shone! She had never doubted.
Looking up at me, she asked: "Can I go over with you, Mummy, and give this dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Allah really loves her?"

That parcel had been on the way for five whole months. Packed up by my former school class, whose leader had heard and obeyed Allah's prompting
to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator. And one of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child - five months before --
in answer to the believing prayer of a ten- year-old to bring it "that afternoon."

"Before they call for prayer, I will answer all prayers!"

Allah wants us to ask of Him and he will surely answer.

LESSONS TO BE LEARNED:
Don't ever underestimate the POWER OF ALLAH...
Allah can do anything Allah desires.
Kids are innocent and pure- Their duas [prayers] are easily and quickly answered by Allah.

The Dedication of this Muslim Doctor - spare time was devoted to Allah to bring others closer to Him - Lets also become inviters to ALLAH.
Don't forget others are in need. You may never know when you would be in need!
Always contribute to good causes. You never know the little you give may save some ones life..or in whichever way it will benefit them

Introduction of "ONLINE TEACHING"

Assalamo alaikum
GIOT (Green Island Online Teaching - onlineteachings.greenislandtrust.org), a child chapter of “Green Island Trust” came into operations in February 2012.
Green Island Trust, the parent body has different sections working under its wings namely: “Green Island Foundation School –GIFS”, “Green Island Youth Forum - GIYF”, “Green Island Publications - GIP”, “Green Island Developmental & Educational Services - GIDES”, “Green Island Women Wing - GIWW” and of course “Green Island Online Teaching - GIOT”.
In 2009, the Trust saw the addition of the above mentioned concern GIDES (Green Island Developmental & Educational Services) which now also includes a Computer Lab. A team of dedicated Ulema and technicians remain ever prepared to fulfill our dream of spreading the rivers of knowledge sans frontiers. During personal visits of our management to different Muslim and Non-Muslim countries and interacting with overseas Momineen, it was very well realized that dire need exists of teaching "The Holy Quran, Islamic teachings and different languages" to varied age groups of momineen and mominaat, spread across the globe.
Keeping up with our mission of trying to provide the best quality service in available resources, a comprehensive IT Center was established to provide the medium for reaching out, delivering and storing of day to day affairs of Teaching to our offshore Momineen.

Online Teaching Program
The course has been laid out with special care and emphasis is given to fulfill the exact needs of our Momineen living abroad. It is so designed to suit across-the-board: school going children, working professionals, as well as parents and grand parents staying at home The course will make the student feel learning it all in his/her home country and in home environment.
The course is easy to use and friendly where a novice person can also initiate the session without any external help. A computer with internet connection, a microphone and a headset is all that is needed.

Being a not for profit organization, GIOT charges a nominal fee for this course to meet the day to day expenses of IT Lab and remuneration for the teachers.

We earnestly hope that momineen will benefit from this facility and not only save time, money and energy but above all, bring improvement in worldly life and hereafter for themselves and the society.

“It has been related that once Imām Ja'far al-Sādiq (A.S.) was ill. The Imām ordered someone to be hired to go to the tomb of Imām Hussein(a.s.) and to pray for him. The hired man expressed surprise, for to him there was no difference between the two Imāms. Therefore he asked for the reason.

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (A.S.) said:

“This man is right but he does not know that Allāh(s.w.t) has specified lands where Duas are answered and the Holy shrine of Imam Hussein (A.S.) is one of them.”

The House With the Golden Windows

The little girl lived in a small, very simple, poor house on a hill and as she grew she would play in the small garden and as she grew she was able to see over the garden fence and across the valley to a wonderful house high on the hill – and this house had golden windows, so golden and shining that the little girl would dream of how magic it would be to grow up and live in a house with golden windows instead of an ordinary house like hers.

And although she loved her parents and her family, she yearned to live in such a golden house and dreamed all day about how wonderful and exciting it must feel to live there.

When she got to an age where she gained enough skill and sensibility to go outside her garden fence, she asked her mother is she could go for a bike ride outside the gate and down the lane. After pleading with her, her mother finally allowed her to go, insisting that she kept close to the house and didn’t wander too far. The day was beautiful and the little girl knew exactly where she was heading! Down the lane and across the valley, she rode her bike until she got to the gate of the golden house across on the other hill.

As she dismounted her bike and lent it against the gate post, she focused on the path that lead to the house and then on the house itself…and was so disappointed as she realized all the windows were plain and rather dirty, reflecting nothing other than the sad neglect of the house that stood derelict.

So sad she didn’t go any further and turned, heart broken as she remounted her bike … As she glanced up she saw a sight to amaze her…there across the way on her side of the valley was a little house and its windows glistened golden …as the sun shone on her little home.

She realized that she had been living in her golden house and all the love and care she found there was what made her home the ‘golden house’. Everything she dreamed was right there in front of her nose!
