ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Ayesha Gulalai alleged that Imran Khan sent her inappropriate text messages.

Addressing a press conference, Gulalai said she wanted to hold presser tomorrow but as some PTI women had a press conference so she had to respond.

“I am not concerned about party ticket or NA-1 seat, it is an illogical allegation, she said.

“Among many things, sending text messages is one of their bad habits,” she said.

Gulalai said that Imran Khan always talks about turn of people to leave, adding that now it’s the PTI chairman’s turn.

“Imran Khan cannot keep himself in control,” she said. The former PTI MNA said that Imran wanted to introduce western culture.

She said that she is not the only one facing such a situation, many women in the party are facing such behaviour.

She said that when she was in the PPP, she felt very safe.

“I am not joining Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz,” she said.

In one of the party meetings, Imran uttered appalling things about late Benazir Bhutto, said Gulalai, adding she was very shocked to hear that.

This is one of the reasons why Gulalai said she stopped attending party meetings, she said.

Late Benazir Bhutto gave me two tickets, MNA and MPA, said Ayesha Gulalai.

“The PTI has different criteria for party tickets, something we don’t fulfill,” she said.

Imran has psychological issues, he doesn’t like talented people, she said.

"I didn’t go to Imran Khan with a delegation because of a party ticket," she said. Gulalai said she took along a rickshaw union leader as CM KP Pervaiz Khattak wasn’t giving him compensation for his 10 burnt vehicles.

She alleged that Pervaiz Khattak has distributed jobs illegally among his relatives.

“Won’t call him Khan Sahab, he’s a fake Pathan, I will call him Imran Niazi,” she said.

She further claimed that she along with the delegation provided proofs to ‘Imran Niazi’ regarding Khattak’s corruption but he dismissed them.

The former PTI MNA said that Imran himself stays in his Bani Gala residence during sit-in days but the common party worker faces tear gas shelling and police’s baton-charging.

Gulalai, earlier today announced that she is leaving PTI. Speaking to the media, she alleged that the reason for her leaving the party was that the honour of women was not safe, citing Imran Khan as a major reason behind it.

“I did not leave the party over the issue of NA-1,” she said, adding that she had to go through mental agony due to the situation.

“What was in those text messages I will reveal in my press conference” she earlier said.

ISIL claims deadly attack on Saudi forces at mosque

Saudi Interior Ministry identifies Najran suicide bomber: Saad Saeed Saad Al-Harthy

A blast triggered by a suicide bomber has killed 15 people at a mosque inside a special forces headquarters in Saudi Arabia near the border with Yemen.
An interior ministry spokesman said on Thursday that the "terrorist" attack took place during noon prayers in the city of Abha, in the southern province of Asir.
Twelve of those killed were members of a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit, while the other three were workers at the compound, officials said.
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has claimed responsibility for the attack that also left nine others wounded.
Earlier, state media said 17 people were killed.
Saudi Television said initial information indicated that the blast occurred after a suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt.
Earlier speaking to Al Jazeera, a Saudi political analyst said that if the latest attack is proven to be the handiwork of ISIL groups, it would be the largest ISIL attack targeting security forces inside the oil-rich kingdom.
"Those guys, they are at war with us," Jamal Khashoggi told Al Jazeera. "This is shaking us to the ground."

Thursday's bombing was the most serious in recent months against Saudi security forces, who have been targeted in attacks blamed on the ISIL group.
In mid-July, a car bomb exploded at a security checkpoint near a prison in the capital Riyadh. It killed the 19-year-old driver and wounded two policemen, the interior ministry said.
In the southwestern city of Taif on July 3, a policeman was gunned down during a raid in which three people were arrested and flags of the ISIL group found, police said earlier.
On successive Fridays in May suicide bombings at mosques of the minority Shia community in Eastern Province killed a total of 25 people.
A group affiliated with ISIL calling itself Najd Province - which takes its name from the region around Riyadh -- claimed those attacks as well as another suicide bombing that killed 26 people at a Shia mosque in Kuwait in June.

3 cup rice (ceela/aged rice)
1 2lb chicken cut into pieces
½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
½ teaspoon big cardamom
2 -3 pieces of cardamom
½ teaspoon fennel seeds
1 cinnamon stick
Few cloves
Pinch of fennogreek
Pinch of black pepper
1 teaspoon Coriander powder
1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
1 teaspoon Crushed pepper
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon salt
Shan Sindi biryani masala
One large onion cut into slices
Fresh green chili s
Ginger cut Julian style
4-5 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
½ cup yogurt
½ cup tomato paste
1 teaspoon Kewra water (essence) (optional)
2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Food coloring
Step 1: Fry onion in oil until golden brown
Step 2: When the onion is golden brown, add the Coriander powder, Red chili powder, Crushed pepper, Paprika, and salt
Step 3: Add the cumin seeds, regular & big cardamom, fennel seeds, cinnamon sticks, cloves, fenugreek, black pepper, and some of the Shan masala.
Step 4: Cook for few seconds, and then add the ginger garlic paste cook for another 30 seconds until the oil starts separating
Step 5: Once the oil starts separating, add the chicken. Mix it well.
Step 6: Cook the chicken until the oil starts separating. Do not cover the pot with the lid. This is so there is no steam inside the pot.
Step 7: Soak the rice in the water for 30 min, before boiling the rice, rinse the rice 2-3 times
Step 8: When the oil is separated, add the tomato paste, cook it until the oil separates again, about 8-10 minutes Again, do not put a lid. Or if you want to put a lid, put it so only half of the pot is covered
Step 9: While the chicken is cooking, take another pot fill it with water, and add 3 teaspoons of salt. Also, add one teaspoon of kewra water. This is the best time to put it in, but you can also add it on the top of the rice. We will boil the rice in this pot
Step 10: When the oil is separated, add the yogurt. Cook for 10 minutes or until oil is separated again. Make sure the chicken doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot
Step 11: Add the rice into the water when you see steam in the water
Step 12: When the chicken is dry, and there is no water, the chicken is done. We will now add the remainder of the Shan Biryani Masala. We will cook the Chicken for only 1-2 minutes, and then we will turn off the stove
Step 13: When the rice is 90% boiled, we will strain it. Make sure there is no water. We will let it rest for 2 min so all the water drains
Step 14: Now we will add half of the rice in a pot, and then we will add the chicken.
Step 15: On top of the chicken we will add the lemon juice or fresh lemon juice. Also we will garnish the chicken with ginger, and fresh green chilies
Step 16: We will now add the remaining rice, and on top of the rice we will put the kewra water, about one teaspoon. (Do not put kewra again if you have already put it before)
Step 17: Add the food coloring. You can use dry food coloring or drops. In addition, you can use orange, red, and green colors. Put more lemon juice on top of the food color.
Step 18: In the biryani, poke 4-5 holes with a fork to let the steam out
Step 19: We will put a paper towel on the lid, and cover the biryani and cook the biryani on low heat for about 20 minutes.
Step 20: After 10 minutes, we will mix the biryani, we will cook it for 10 more minutes.
Step 21: We will mix the biryani again, and then turn of the stove, and then let it rest for 10 – 15 minutes
Step 22: Our biryani is ready! Now all you have to do is enjoy!

Sheikh Abdul Rashid, an independent MLA in Jammu and Kashmir assembly was thrashed by angry BJP MLAs for hosting a beef party yesterday.
BJP MLA Ravinder Raina first began thrashing Rashid where other MLAs were seen joining him. Immediately, Rashid was rescued and escorted out with the help of opposition members and security.
Rashid hosted the beef party at the MLA hostel where he invited members from the civil society. He already alleged that BJP MLAs vandalized the hostel during the event and that three staffers who tried to stop them were suspended by the government.
The beef party took place in the lawns of MLA hostel here, with the guests being served beef kebabs, 'ristas' (meat balls) and beef patties.
Rashid had claimed that he did not want to offend anyone but wanted to send a message that "no courts or legislature can prevent the people from eating what they want".
The step was "just to give them (legislators) a clear message that it hardly makes any difference whether you accept or reject the bill... religious matters cannot be kept subservient to courts and assembly," the MLA had said.
"Nobody on earth, no assembly, no court and no institution can stop us from having what we want to have," he added.
The beef row erupted after a division bench of High Court in Jammu directed the state to strictly implement the ban in the state as per the law.
The order had evoked strong resentment from various quarters with many separatist and religious organisations terming it as "interference in religious affairs" and sought revocation of the law, besides pressing for implementation of ban on liquor in the state.
The issue is now before the Supreme Court.

AWAZ APNI American Airlines pilot dies on overnight flight

BOSTON —An American Airlines pilot on a flight from Phoenix to Boston died as the plane was en route Monday, the airline said.

The red-eye flight had left Phoenix just after midnight and was diverted to Syracuse after the pilot's death.
"Syracuse, American 550, medical emergency, captain is incapacitated, request handling for runway," a transcript of the co-pilot's radio transmission said.
There were 147 passengers and a crew of five on board American flight 550.
"We are incredibly saddened by this event, and we are focused on caring for our pilot's family and colleagues," the airline statement said.
Another crew was sent to Syracuse to fly the plane to Boston.
The name of the pilot, 57, has not been released.
Passenger Louise Anderson, who was heading from Reno, Nevada, to Boston via Phoenix, said she had dozed off on the flight.

"What I woke up to was the flight attendant telling us we were making an emergency landing because the pilot was ill," she said.

She said rumors were circulating of the pilot's death in the Syracuse airport, but they were only confirmed by an announcement on their makeup flight to Boston.

Anderson said the mood on board then was somber, but she commended the crew's handling of a tragic situation.

Airline pilots must pass a physical exam every 12 months -- every six months for captains if they are 40 or older.

Steve Wallace, who led the FAA's accident-investigations office from 2000 to 2008, said it is rare for a pilot to become incapacitated.

"What is important is the consistent result - the plane lands safely," Wallace said. "The co-pilot is fully qualified to fly the airplane. It's rare, but they train for it."

Modern airliners are capable of largely flying themselves. There is a debate in aviation circles about whether over-reliance on automation is eroding the manual flying skills of pilots.

Even if planes can fly by themselves, however, incidents like Monday's help ensure that regulators won't allow unmanned cockpits - or even an unaccompanied pilot - anytime soon.

With the technological advances of the 20th century, and those anticipated in the 21st, media has become a most potent weapon both in peace and in war. However, its role as the guardians of the oppressed carries most relevance for civilization. Working without any fear or restraint a free media is the best cheek on excess of any kind by anyone or any entity having the potential and the inclination to inflict excess. What to talk about individuals, even nations feel the heat; that the media can generate on any wrongdoing. Conversely, influence over a “free” media allows the generating of excess without undue hue and cry.
The mass media, in particular the printed press, enjoys a special status which gives them protection against conventional social policies. This freedom is a vital element a safeguard of human rights in a democratic and civil society, media autonomy must be respected and defended. The exceptional degree of autonomy carries duties and responsibilities that calls for regulation both on legal and ethical levels i.e. the media must also be accountable. It would be both sociologically and politically naive to place media outside of any social controls. Accountability can conceptually be divided into various levels and aspects, including law and ethics. The mass media is regulated by legal and financial means to a degree determined by the political balance of power prevailing in each society. And there is little that the professional and academic community can do about it, but there is an untapped potential for indirect participation in the democratic process of media accountability through media criticism. The media criticism called for is not the kind of politically motivated interest group advocacy that is well-known everywhere but scientifically based description and assessment of media performance, carried out by methods of content analysis. The reasoning follows the correspondence theory of truth: comparing media coverage with extra media data. However, truth checking can be left aside, why pay so much attention to content, especially at a time of media concentration and globalization? The mass-mediated content constitutes a strategic part of broader reasoning about freedom and accountability, and ultimately media’s role in democracy.
Propaganda is “a deliberate attempt to persuade people, by any available media, to think and then behave in a manner desired by the source. It is really the means to an end.” Propaganda is a process and in the present age the media have become very useful tools of propaganda. Noam Chomsky and Edward S. Herman offered a ‘propaganda model’ of how the mainstream media work in the USA, this “traces the routes by which money and power are able to filter out the news fit to print, marginalize dissent, and allow the government and dominant private interest to get their messages across to the public” They mentioned a number of ingredients or set of news “filters” through which information must pass, viz (1) ownership of the dominant mass media firms; (2) advertising as their income source and (3) the media are dependant on government and business industries as information sources.
The three major propositions of the Chomsky-Herman study were, viz (1) media perceptions and representations of other countries are highly biased, selective and stereotyped (2) mainstream media usually become the agents of government and elite propaganda and are obstacles to regional peace and stability, eroding its integrity as neutral observer of truth to a certain extent. For example, the Indian media mainly reflect elite consensus and neglect the voices of the subjugated, the causes of minorities being given lower priority In foreign policy and inter-State matters, the media often take a pro-establishment tone and (3) media plays a significant role in fuelling ethno-religious conflicts, having far-reaching implications far an entire region. These are highly interconnected in terms of, religion and ethnicity, media’s jingoistic postures only aggravate the existing situations.
We must highlight objectives necessary for good governance of society and the fight against corruption viz (1) generate media support for the fight against corruption (2) determine means to ensure the freedom and independence of the media and (3) develop an improved understanding for the media’s potential for preventing and combating corruption. The first requirement is to obtain transparency in government functioning and the availability of better access to information. One of the major reasons of corruption is that information is denied to the public under the pretext of confidentiality. Except ‘for a very few areas of national security, there is nothing in the country that requires any classification. This camouflage must be removed from all public dealing and the media particularly must be allowed to function in bringing transparency into all transactions. At the same time no one or entity should be allowed to interfere with the level of freedom and independence of the media. This is a sacred trust that should not be violated. Both the democratic and military regimes have supported free media, but a few incidents did take place during the democratic regimes that were unsavory, quite counter-productive to this concept. The Faisalabad baton-charge recently during the Presidential referendum campaign was completely out of character of the present military regime. Given their rock-bottom salaries and incentives the media is vulnerable to this evil in society, the media itself has to watch out for corruption among their own ranks. What is really required is a self-developed code of ethics and integrity.
The media has a very substantial rote in exposing corruption. The guilty do not like public attention and while investigative journalism is not that developed in Pakistan as in the western world, it certainly has great potential. The problem is that investigative journalism is anathema to both the public sector as well as the media’s commercial transactions. Both the government in third world countries like Pakistan) and free enterprise control advertisements that fuels the cash flow of the media balance sheet. Controlling the purse-strings gives them virtual VETO powers over investigative journalism. Whereas in developed countries such journalists are considered top of the line for my media corporate entity, in Pakistan the media bosses barely tolerate their presence. While curbing the powers of bureaucracy may not be an attainable goal in the present circumstances, can we really expect investigative journalism targeting corporate entities like ENRON, TYCO, XEROX, WORLDCOM, etc? Do people in Pakistan know that ADT is a subsidiary of TYCO? Would any accounting firm be subjected to cynosure in the media like Arthur Andersen has been in the US? There must be a law to protect the rights of whistle blowers, both in the media exposing wrongdoers, and those giving them the information. Of the greatest of importance is the fact that we have to make our politicians accountable. Today people seem to enter public life mostly with the intention of looting the till. Despite NAB’s best efforts the biggest crooks are still vying for political leadership in the future. They serve as bad models which our youth tend to emulate. We must not do selective accountability as we are doing now but target all who enrich themselves at the expense of the State. A free media is the best possible support that NAB can have in a country where the excesses are many but the evidence non-existent.
By a constant barrage of exposing facts about corruption on the one hand and of avoiding corruption on the other, the media has a definite role to play in changing society’s attitudes. Both the electronic and print media must eulogize honesty and integrity. They must also encourage all members of the public to consider themselves equal participants in the war against corruption. Only by universalizing the fight against corruption we can increase the sources of information vital to combating corruption, only by involving the general public we can force-multiply the availability of concrete evidence.

The name of my country is Pakistan. It came into being on the 14th August 1947. In Pakistan we have some fine resorts for excursion and Sight-seeing.
Pakistan appeared on the map of the world as an Islamic state. It was founded on an ideological basis. The Muslims desired a separate state because they wanted to live in accordance with their cultural values and Islamic laws. The establishment of an Islamic society was thus the main object for creating Pakistan. We are now the establishment of a truly Islamic Society.
Pakistan is basically all agricultural country. A great portion of population depends on agriculture The ratio of urban population is still very low in Pakistan and most of the people live in village. Most of population illiterate. The present ratio of literacy is not more than 25%. The people living in village are very simple and hard-working. Pakistan is rapidly growing, and its population is consisted of all – Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Paris etc. The Muslims are in over-whelming majority. But people of other religions enjoy equal civil and political rights. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan. Sindhi, Pashto, Punjabi and Baluchi are the other important languages of Pakistan. The national dress of Pakistan is Shalwar-Kammez.
When Pakistan came in to being, it had no resources. It was poor in all respects. But in course of time. Pakistan made a great progress. Now we have set Up many industries in the country due to the efforts of the people resources. We have raw material for most of our industries. Wheat grows in abundance which is the staple food of the people.
Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Multan, Sialkot, are the important cities of Pakistan. Karachi is main Seaport of Pakistan.
