The introduction to the Steam platform follows the game&#8217;s release on another platform last year under the Preservation Program.</p>
<p>The game is accessible at an inviting price of $8.99 and entices gamers with a generous 50% launch discount. Similar to its earlier release on the other platform, the adaptation for steam consists of English and Japanese language options. The version boasts of a variety of improvements, which include a DirectX game renderer of superior quality, an array of new rendering options, a superior audio engine, and enhanced keyboard and mouse support.+</p>

This release includes compatibility for several platforms such as Switch 2, the traditional Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and PC on Steam. This strategy collection made its initial debut in Japan earlier in the month, specifically for consoles.</p>
<p>The Western version of the release will have physical copies available for PS5, PS4, and Switch. Meanwhile, other platforms will offer the game in digital format. A noteworthy point to remember is the decision by NIS America to cancel Limited Edition and Deluxe Editions for the Xbox Series X|S.</p>
<p>The ultimate turn-based sci-fi strategy collection, R-Type Tactics I &#038; II Cosmos, will provide an extensive platform for players to test their combat strategy skills. This two-game combination of the classic R-Type Tactics titles is updated to be compatible with modern consoles. The collection has numerous unique units across various levels. The two gaming options allow players to fight against or even play as the Bydo Empire.</p>
<p>The story continues with Bydo continuing to threaten humanity. Your mission will be to outsmart and outmaneuver them, in hopes of securing a victory for the Space Corps. However, there is also the opportunity to align with the forces you were originally meant to destroy.</p>

The termination date is set for May 28, 2026, marking an end to a saga that started with its launch in November 2019. On a contrasting note, the global release of this version was already concluded in May 2025.</p>
<p>The announcement came to the public eye via Square Enix&#8217;s official website and social media handles. In their communication, an undertone of gratitude towards players for their continued patronage over time could be sensed. <p>The creators unveiled that the rumors circulating were indeed correct – Fox McCloud, a famed character from the Star Fox games, is certain to make an appearance in the Super Mario Galaxy movie. The extent of Fox’s role in the gaming icon&#8217;s newest venture has yet to be disclosed, but the teasers indicate Fox is not a character to be sidelined. </p>

<p>This game is a tribute to the retro horizontal shooter experience adapted for SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive. Embark on a thrilling adventure through different worlds characterized by elements of fantasy, science fiction, and alien themes. As players navigate through this cosmic maze, they will face a countless number of epic boss battles, all while trying to achieve high scores and uncover hidden secrets.</p>
<p>In ZPF, elements from classic horizontal shooters such as Lords of Thunder, Elemental Master, and the Thunderforce series have been referenced. The game has been beautifully designed by the creator and developer of Super XYX and Tanzer, expressing their passion for the arcade-style gaming genre.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Satoshi Kuramochi, internationally acclaimed for his work on the SaGa series, reported on his personal social media profile that he had decided to part ways with Square Enix as of late February 2026. The announcement suggested that he is functioning as an independent artist.</p>
<p>For the entirety of his tenure with Square Enix, Kuramochi was most celebrated for his prominent contributions to the SaGa franchise. Among the standout games he dedicated his creativity to were the renowned Imperial SaGa, Romancing SaGa Re;Universe, and SaGa Scarlet Grace.</p>
<p>Upon announcing his exit, Kuramochi expanded his statement, revealing that he had also significantly contributed to the creation of Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy alongside the SaGa series. He pointed out that, coincidentally, one of his illustrations to commemorate the game&#8217;s launch turned out to be the last piece of work he produced in his role at the company.</p>
<p>In his farewell message, Kuramochi expressed deep gratitude for the countless opportunities to create illustrations during his time at Square Enix. He extended thanks towards his fan base for their unwavering support. Moving forward, Kuramochi confirmed his commitment to continue creating illustrations professionally and asked for ongoing support and recognition.</p>

The company&#8217;s CEO, Tim Sweeney, has gone on record attributing these changes to the lackluster engagement from Fortnite&#8217;s player base. In an ironic twist, the very game that put Epic on the map is now causing a dent in its workforce.</p>
<p>Despite the successful run of Fortnite and strategic alliances with business giants such as Disney to arrest decline, it seems that the efforts did not yield the anticipated uptick in engagement and growth. Sweeney explains that the financial logistics eventually did not align, with the company dredging more than the revenue it could generate.</p>
<p>To sail through the financial turbulence and secure the company&#8217;s stability, Epic had no other alternative but to let go of more than 1,000 of its workforce. In addition, Epic&#8217;s strategy to curtail costs implicated a whopping savings of over $500 million across various fronts such as contracting, marketing, and halting recruitment for several vacancies.
