I made this look a REALLY long time ago, based on this picture:

I just loved the colors, and the way they had a gradient affect from the stem all the way to the end of the petals.

SOO... This is the look I created based on this. It's from a long time ago, like I said, so I'm not positive on the colors, but I can try and find dupes if anyone is interested!

This is a look I did where I used Urban Decay's Lounge eyeshadow. The color payoff is much better in real life, but I feel like it would have looked better with MACs Blue Brown Pigment, but I guess that will have to wait until next time! Here's the pictures:

SImple Brown Smokey Eye

This is just a simple smokey brown eye tutorial I did a few days ago, as a request from a friend! Just follow the steps to a gorgeous everyday smokey look!

First: Prime your eye with your favorite primer. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original all over my lid and brow bone.

Second: Apply your base color to help bring out your eyeshadow colors and make the colors pop a little more. I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

Third: Blend the base color into your lid so that it blends well. (I applied the Primer Potion with my finger, the NYX Milk with the pencil itself, and then blended it with my finger as well).

Fourth: Apply your lid color to the middle of your lid. It's recommended to use a light beige or brown so that the crease color you apply next will match nicely with the lid color. Just gently pat the color onto your lid with a small flat brush. I used my MAC 239 and used NYX Eyeshadow in Champagne.

Fifth: I added an extra little pop of color to bring out the NYX Champagne a little more. (I applied this with the same MAC 239 brush I used in step four). This step is optional, I just did it because I wanted a little bit of a brighter color than just the Champagne and used Ulta Eyeshadow in Copper Bronze

Sixth: Add your crease color! Apply whatever dark or medium in a windshield wiper motion to the crease area. I used a MAC 217 brush for this step and NYX Eyeshadow in Volcano.

Seventh: Add a darker brown to the outer V. I used a brush similar to the MAC 239 but it's some Bare Minerals one that doesn't have a name. :( I also used L'oreal Eyeshadow in Antique Brown for this step.

Eighth: Blend the colors together. I used a Sonia Kashuk Smaller Dome Brush for this step and just blended the L'oreal Antique Brown, NYX Volcano, and NYX Champagne.

Ninth: Apply a light beige color to the inner corner of your eye and blend it with the beigey orange you already have on your lid. I used a light yellow beige from some Lancome palette I had from a while back and I am not quite sure of the color. Just make sure it is lighter than your lid color. I used an old Smashbox thick pencil brush similar to the MAC 219 but a little thicker.

Tenth: Add a simple color close to your skin tone to your brow bone and blend the brown bone color with the medium brown crease color. I used Ulta Bone again and blended it with the NYX Volcano I had in the crease. I used the Sonia Kashuk Large Dome Brush which is also FANTASTIC.

Eleventh: Apply a color with a light shimmer on top of the brow bone color you put on in the previous step. I used my Sonia Kashuk Large Dome Brush again and used just a little bit of the Lancome Palette color I used in my inner eye with a little bit (I mean a really little bit) of the NYX Champagne color I used on my lid.

Twelfth: Next apply some brown eyeliner to the upper and lower lashline. I used MAC Fluidline in Dipdown with my Sonia Kashuk Bent Liner Brush. You can use any gel eyeliner or brown eye pencil you want though- it's up to you!

Thirteenth: Add a little bit of the color you applied on your outer V on top of your liner you applied in the previous step. Just smudge it out a little bit into the eyeshadow colors you already have on your eye. It's meant to look a little smudged- it's a smoky eye remember! I used my EcoTools Angled Eyeliner Brush for this step. (You can see it's a lot less defined).

Fourteenth: Just make sure that all your colors are blended well and everything is looking just how you would like it too. Also apply your dark brown pencil eyeliner on your waterline and tightline your eye if you would like! (Eyeliner on the waterline of your upper eye as close to the lashline as you can get it-it gives the appearance of more lashes!) I just blended a little more with my Sonia Kashuk Large Dome Brush and applied some Prestige Eyeliner in Black Brown.

Fifteenth: Curl your eyelashes with your favorite eyelash curler. I used my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler.

Sixteenth: Last step! Apply your mascara! I used Prestige My Biggest Lashes in Black again.

Hello my dears! I have quite a few looks I did this weekend that I will posting throughout the week but tonight I wanted to post my long awaited thick eyeliner tutorial. Please excuse the messiness of it- I could not find my good black eyeliner pen and had to improvise... sadly it did not come out half as good as I was hoping but maybe next weekend I'll have a chance to post a new one that won't look so horrendous. :( But I wanted to post this anyways since I have been promising it for a couple weeks now. Oh and please try not to be freaked out by my eyes lol I couldn't get the pictures of the eyeliner well enough without my eyes looking really weird and freaky :o

Okay so first, apply your eyeshadow on your lid, crease, and brow bone.

Next, apply your liquid or gel eyeliner to the outer half of your lid. Start in the middle of your lid and swipe it to the outer side of your eye. (Don't worry about flicking it or trying to make a wing just yet).

Next, take the eyeliner and apply it the inner corner of your lid. You don't want this part to be as thick as the outer lid so make sure to do a thin line and increase the size afterward so it blends well with the rest.

Next, your going to flick the eyeliner out a little bit on the outer eye to begin to create the triangle or "cat eye".

Next take your eyeliner and draw a thin line from your lower lashline all the way to the end of where you flicked your eyeliner in the last step. You want to make a sort of empty/hallow triangle between your upper lashline and lower lashline. (This is where my eyeliner started freaking out so please excuse the mess from here on out :/ )

Next, draw in the triangle with your eyeliner so that the emptiness is now a solid black triangle.

The last step is to fix your eye up and eliminate any mess you made and make it look ideal. For mine, I set the black eyeliner with a black powder eyeshadow, and got rid of the thick black triangle at the outer lashline and softened my lower lashline a bit.

And this is the final look that I made with both of my eyes with mascara and a little more blending:

You can see how thick it is on the top, I just don't normally wear a lot of thick eyeliner on the bottom unless I am feeling really dramatic (that's why my outer flick and cat eye aren't as prominent either- they got a little erased as I tried to fix the lower lashline) only because my eyes water a lot and the eyeliner gets so smudged I literally look like a raccoon regardless of the eyeliner I wear.

Also I realized I show you guys a lot of EOTD but I never show you my lip color or anything so I thought I would post a picture of my Lip of the Day. :D

Please don't mind my ginormous lips no matter how much I try they are still always huge lol The colors I used were Sonia Kashuk Lipstick in Truffle and Too Faced's new Mood Swing Lip Gloss in Petal Pink.

So I hoped this sort of helped you guys out. I will try doing another one next weekend with a better eyeliner so you guys are able to see it better (and it won't look so messy). I'll have the rest of my looks up in the next few days as well. Also, I would love to know what other looks y'all would like me to try. The whole reason I am on here is to learn and try new things as well as making looks and tutorials for you guys so I would love your feedback and suggestions. You can either leave a comment or email me anytime you have a suggestion or look you want me to try.

Hello my loves!
Yet again I am lacking in looks but I wanted to give y'all a quick update as to what's been going on.

First off though I wanted to wish my lovely and beautiful followers a Happy Easter!

I hope you had a great day and enjoyed a little relaxation and good food. :D

Secondly, I wanted to give you a guys a heads up as to why I don't have any makeup looks for you guys recently. So I told you last week my puppy had surgery (she is doing great now- thank you guys for your good wishes) plus a quiz, plus driving 7 hours to spend the weekend with my family for Easter. So onto this week- I broke my tooth when I was like ten and have had it bonded since then. Well this weekend the bonding popped off and I have to find someone to fix it. >:o So I finally found someone but I am not sure if they're going to re-bond it, cap it, or put a veneer on and I guess I am just a little nervous. And I also have two big tests this week that I am freaking out about them. I promise though that this weekend I will put together quite a few looks for you guys- including the tutorial I have been promising you guys. I also am hoping to do a smoky look I saw earlier that I am in love with.

Josie Maran Mascara in black

The Josie Maran Mascara is one I have had for a while but haven't used recently because it gives a more natural look than a dramatic one like I usually like. For those of you that aren't familiar with Josie Maran products, they are all organic and natural so they are better for your skin, lips, and eyes (oh and even hair!). I have gotten into ORGANIC products within the last four months or so and I have to tell you guys I have seen a dramatic difference in my skin and hair. While I still battle with the wonderful acne monster >:| I can see that the organic products make a difference in my skin and hair and I suggest you all give it a try! Maybe I'll include some in my give away that I'm having soon... :)

I'm still working on the mini tutorial about the thick black eyeliner and should have it up by tomorrow. If any of you guys want me to do a certain look for you or do a tutorial on one than just let me know and I will happily get on it!

Okay so I found some pictures of this look I made for the Makeup Geek challenge back from the end of January. The pictures are a bit rough because I was having a hard time getting my camera to take close ups. However, I thought it would be worth posting another look. :)

So I was in the mood for a little colorful this week. I feel like it's a little Mardi Gras (minus the green :p), but maybe I'm just a little weird haha... I'm going to start with some pictures of the looks for the "eye of the day" I did last week and then I'll tell y'all what products I used.
