This is it!! The Helios Project International having a 1st gathering for the 2012!

Anu nga ba ang Helios Project International? According to the Admin of Helios Franz Lopez,The Helios Project, is the fusion of various Forms of Art and Mass Media with Photography as the Soul that binds these arts into one. And there more, Helios also have active members from the USA (California and Texas), Singapore, Dubai and even from Spain and Portugal!

This Helios Project International gathering was held during the Philippine Pyromusical Competition of UK and Spain last Feb 18,2012

and ofcourse some out of town project.

And it was my first time to meet Alex Narciso, Hillarie Danielle,Jarryd Ching,Reur Escartin Morada, Francis Bucao, and Jason Elazegui

We have no idea where to go after some chat and getting to know each other, we have to choose between Travel Expo at SMX or watch Unofficially Yours. Since the movie is blockbluster on that time, so we decided to go to Travel Expo at SMX .

Ito na ito ang Philippine Pyromusical Competition - Spain team, sabi nila ito daw ang isa sa mga may pinakamagandang Pyromusical at mag-aagree naman ako dun, dahil ang ganda ng mga fireworks na ginamit aside pa dun ang lakas ng music nila, saktong-sakto para dun sa mga makukulay nilang fireworks, di lang yun yung pinakagusto ko yung unang fireworks shot nila.. ang ganda.

Ito na to ang World Pyro Olympics na ginanap sa Moa noong Feb 18,2012, isa lang ang masasabi ko,i really enjoy the World Pyro Olympics, dahil first time kung nanood at di lang yun kasama pa ang mga Helios Pipol.

Kaunting trivia, ayun kay wikipedia "The World Pyro Olympics is an annual competition amongst the most prestigious fireworks companies in the world. The event is one of the largest and most intense international fireworks competitions of the world.

The World Pyro Olympics runs through a period of five consecutive days allowing locals and tourists alike to experience the greatest fireworks display in the world. Two countries fire each day; the last participant fires on the final evening of the event.

The host of the event does not participate in the competition but performs a fireworks display on the last night. Awards, such as the People’s Choice, are given out after the exhibition. The crowning of the World Pyro Olympics Champion ends the event."

Last February 18, 2012 nagkaroon ng isang munting gathering ang mga Helios para sa 1st gathering nito para sa 2012 pero tsaka ko na kwento ang bagay na yun. Sa ngaun uunahin ko muna ito, isa sa mga bagong ataksyon ng Mall of Asia ay ang MOA EYE.

At dahil na blog ko na ang tungkol dito at iba naman ang gagawin ko, dahil di kami masyadong nagtagal yung unang punta namin dito para sa MOA Eye, pero ngaun mas matagal na dahil nanood kami ng 3rd Annual International PyroMusical Competition naginap sa MOA Bay the View.

The Famous "Bunduk Alaya" or also know as Arayat Mountain.

Arayat Mountain is likewise know as Mount Sinukuan,named after legendary goddess and enchanted lady, Maria Sinukuan. It has three peaks, the two highest of which are the Northern Peak with 1,086 meters altitude and the Southern Peak with 984 meters height. The Pampanga River has its bank at the foot of Mt.Arayat. One does not have tp climb its summit to see itsnatural beauty, for its centrally located in the region,so that one will inevitably enjoy its splendor as he travels along national highways of Central Luzon.

Founding And Early Development Of Arayat

Historically speaking, the exact date of Arayat's foundation is still unknown. Definetely, the town was reported to be one of the thriving settlements of Pampanga between 1335 to 1380. One chronicler alleges that Prince Balagtas or his son Araw (Lord) Malangsic (ruler of the Madjapahit empire) was the founder of Arayat. At that time, it occupied what is today barrio Palinlang and was called Balayan ning Pambuit. Present-day Poblacion or seat of government was then a wilderness inhabited by pagan tribes,especially the balugas (Aetas).

Another account mentions such names as Jose Carlos Garcia,Macapagal,Simbulan,Lapira and Maria Vinas as the early pioneers of Arayat. By 1571, Arayat was one of the eleven most important communities of Pampanga. Because of its strategic location along the Pampanga River, it became a major center of trade and commerce- supplying the rice requirements of Manila, the Capital City.

On August 29,1590, the Augustians were granted permission to establish a mission in Arayat by the Bishop of Manila, Fr.Domingo Salazar. In the same year, the first Augustinian mission in Arayat was founded by Fr. Juan de Valderrama.

By 1600, the parish of Arayat already existed according to one historian of the Augustinian order in the Philippines,Elviro Jorde Perez. Available documents even show that a certain Fr.Contreras was the parish priest of Arayat until 1621. However,it requires further research work to determine whether or not the present church structure is the same as the one originally built by the Augustinians. Also it appears that the first baptism to be recorded at the parish was performed by Fr.Villalobos in 1758.

Similar to other towns in Pampanga,Arayat has agriculture as the main livelihood of its people. When Pampanga cash draft shifted from rice to sugar in the early 1800's,Arayat continued to flourish as a market center with the coming of a group of big investors in the sugar industries. In 1835, the town had a population of 6,912, which increased to 14,000 by 1880 thereby making it sizeable community by the standard of time. The commercial importance of Arayat began to decline with the opening of Manila-Dagupan railroad. Other towns like San Fernando and Angeles rose to prominence as the coming of the railroad made them the central collecting and distributing points for the sugar produce.

The Arayat Pampanga , One of the place to go for relax, to unwind, and to eat some exotic food.

But before that, lets me tell you what the stories behind the Arayat.

According to the historial researchers gave different accounts to explain the origin of the name "Arayat".
First that Arayat was originated from the name of Fernando de Arayat, a Spanish ecomeindro whose birthplace in Spain was called “Arayat”. Over time particular researcher claims that the natives had transformed the word to “Daya”.

Second, the original vernacular name “Dayat” was derived from “dayatan” which literally means dry season rice crop.

Third, that Arayat was formerly known as “Alaya” or “East”. Thus, “bundok alaya” or “eastern mountain” referred to Mt. Arayat. Likewise, this same source considers the word “Arayat” to be of Spanish coinage.

Fourth, that a contemporary researcher believes that Mt. Arayat and the biblical Mt. Ararat, were Noah’s Ark landed are one of the same thing which town was named. This does not account for the etymological background of the present name and does not explain why another Mt. Ararat exixts in the Middle East.

Mukhang napaaga ata ako ng dating dahil iilan pa lamang ang mga nakikita ko sa place, buti na lang at kakilala ko yung ibang members ng Helios ka naman di ako na OP sa kanila.

At dahil nga wala pa yung iba at may mga kanya-kanya ginagawa ang mga Admin, kaya naman habang wala pa sila ay naglaro muna kami ng GameCard, ang walang kamatayang tong-its at pusoy-dos.

At ilan sa mga nakalaro ko dito halos 1st time ko din makilala, katulad nila Chef Juni, Berd, IO at sina Justin na second time na mula sa XPC Image Hunt at si Jaydee naman on the 3rd time in a row mula sa Book Launching.

At dahil 1st time ko maglaro ng Pusoy-dos nakikinood muna ko para naman may idea ako kung paano laruin ito, sapagkat tong-its lang ang alam mo sa GameCard.

Ang unang laro ang Hug to Jerusalem, isa to sa mga laugh trip na games ng gabing iyon grabe, sobrang saya, ito ang version namin ng trip to jerusalem dahil imbes na uupo sila ay yayakapin nila yung nakatayo.

Ang Ikalawang game naman straw me kung saan ang bawat player ay ipapasok ang mga staw sa bote, ang twist yun kailangan mong humarap sa kamera ng flash bago mo ipasok ito, pasensya na wala ako kuha yun.

Ang ikatlong laro naman ang Drink Me, kung saan iinumin ang isang can ng sanlight gamit ang straw pauhan ito ng pag-ubos ng laman, sad to say di ako nanalo.

Ang ikaapat na laro, ang pambansang laro ng bayan ang Pinoy Henyo, di lang basta word ito kung di isang epic word grabe kasi ang mga pinapahulaan sa mga players.

At ang huling laro ang Fast Number, isa to sa mga madalas na laro namin yung elemtary kami kung saan paunahan kayo pagsabi ng number at dapat di kayo magsasabay dahil may kapalit na dare yun, at ang dare naman namin dito ay ang pag-inom ng black label at tequila.

Dahil down na yung iba at yung iba naman ay may pasok pa kinabukasan kaya naman nagpaalam na muna sila at yung mga natira naman ay doon na tulog.

At kami naman mga lalaki ay nagkaroon ng random topic at dahil wala na kaming mapag-usapan pa ay bigla na lamang nagpakitang gilas ang Chef ng grupo si Chef Juni.

Pero yung last magic tricks niya nahulaan namin kung paano gawin, thanks kay Master Luis sa pag-analyze nito.

At dahil nauubusan na siya ng tricks naghanap naman kami ng bago laro.

Ang modern Monopoly, grabe sakit sa ulo pero masaya yan ang nasabi ko after namin laruin ito, bakit ko nasabing modern monopoly dahil di na namin kailangan pa gumamit ng mga paper money kungdi debit card ang gamit namin at ang laki ng laman 15M at sobrang mahal ng mga properties. Halos inabot kami ng 4 na oras sa paglalaro nito nagsimula kami ng 2:55Am natapos kami ng 6:16 ng umaga at take note apat lang kaming walang tulog yun dahil talagang tinapos namin ang laro na ito, bankcrupt kung banckrupt.

Time to have a breakfast

Isa-isa ng nagsigisingan ang mga Helios para sa masarap na breakfast na hinihanda ng aming Chef na si Chef Juni (bago siya umalis ng luto muna siya) ang masarap na tuna (di ko alam kung anu tawag dun eh basta may tuna).

At syempre habang kumakain kwentuhan pa rin kung ng kung anu-anu, at ang isa pang pamatay ng boredom namin na si Kuya Berd, bawat hirit mapatay sa tawa.

At bago kami magsialisan sa bahay ni Donna, nagkaroon muna ng "mini concert" sa pangunguna ni Master Franz at Io kasama ng second voice na si FC.

Last Dec 11,2011 naimbitahan ako na magcover ng isang Charity Event ng aming samahan, so far nagustuhan ko ito dahil ito ang unang pagkakataon na ako'y nakasama sa masaya at makulit na Charity Event na ito, na ang Title ay Gawad Kalinga Las Pinas Krismas Party.

Itong parol na to ag isa sa mga nagustuhan ko, dahil sa ganda ng pagkakagawa.

Luneta Park Revisited

Its been so long simula noong binisita ko ang Luneta Park, I admit medyo gumanda ang paigid nito at nadagdagan ng mga bagong atraksyon ngunit medyo na dismaya lamang ako ng kaunti sapagkat di ko na makukuhaan ng Whole shoot ang Isla ng Philipinas sapagkat nilagyan na nila ito ng isang bridge kung saan pude daw makita ng malapitan ang mga pulo ng Pilipinas at may nilagay silang mga trivia sa bawat paligid nito.

Access to Luneta is free of charge, but the attractions inside it ask an entrance fee of P10 to P50. The museums charge more, ranging from P100 in National Museum to P350 in Manila Ocean Park (Click at the links of these museums to know more). Museums and attractions in Luneta are open daily except national holidays, between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The National Museum (open: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) is closed every Monday.

How to get there
Luneta Park is located between Intramuros, Roxas Boulevard, TM Kalaw Avenue, and Taft Avenue. Taxis (flag down rate: P30) from anywhere in Manila are the easiest means to get there. During rush hour (8-10 a.m., noon, 5:30-7 p.m.), the easiest way to get there is through LRT Line-1. The park is just at walking distance from the train’s UN Station.
