PureChat V1.1 Released

Just 25 days after the release of PureChat V1.0, we've significantly improved PureChat with the following new features:

New Daily Statistics email that summarizes the following information by operator:

Number of Chats
Time logged in
Time in Chats
Average Rating

New HTML/Javascript code snippet that's used to put chat button on ANY web page or web site. No longer does your site need to be an ASP.NET site.
The Chat with us active/inactive images now update automatically (based on availability of operators) on any web page, even if the page is not refreshed by your visitors.
PureChat V1.1 is now installed as an independent ASP.NET web site, so you no longer need to install it inside of your own web site.
Added the ability to create new shortcuts directly from the operator console.
PureChat automatically now writes a daily log file of all chat sessions. When the PureChat application is restarted, the last 2 days of log files is loaded into memory so the "Completed Chats" and other tabs maintain their information (in V1.0, a restart of the app meant all info in memory was lost).

BugShooting V1.5 Supports OnTime V8

Bugshooting is a powerful screenshot tool which captures and sends screenshots to OnTime items. This free tool is very easy to setup and integrate with OnTime. You can download Bugshooting at http://www.bugshooting.com. Once installed you will need to install OnTime SDK. Do the following steps to complete the integration:

1) Edit Web.Config in SDK folder
2) Enter the appropriate connection string information for database under <appsettings>
3) Enter GUID under <appsettings>. GUIDS can be generated through VS.NET Tools menu
4) Run BugShooting and go to settings > Server Tab > Add Server Type > Select OnTime > Enter appropriate information > Click OK > Click Save
5) Now Capture a screenshot > select the item type > select item # to attach to > enter description > Click Send to OnTime button
6) Run OnTime and notice the attachment to the item you selected from Bugshooting

SDK Note- Breaking changes

The GetAllCustomers method in the CustomerHandler class no longer returns contacts, it only returns customers. Use GetAllCustomerContacts to get all the contacts.

The AddUser method in the UserHandler class now requires another parameter which is an array of security role IDs. Use GetSecurityRoles to get a list of security roles.
