Website Update!

If you were trying to find my website and ended up here on my blog instead, it is because the server that I host my website was down for about a week which got me motivated to update my website! I have now started the process and my new website should be up and running within the next week or two! In the meantime, you may CLICK HERE to view the current (not so updated) website!! Or you may also visit my Facebook page to see what I am up to and view some photo albums.

I can't wait for you to see what I have been working on! My current website just doesn't reflect my personality, style, or studio at all. The work on the site is at least a year or so old, and the layout is just plain ugly! The new site is going to be classy, elegant, and user friendly with recent photos all taken within the last year! I can't wait!!! Stay tuned!

The Javaheri Family!

The Javaheri Family.

This family came in right after the 4th of July. They had spent a week in Prior Lake for a family reunion, it is the first time the entire family has all been together in almost 10 years!! The families all live scattered across the world, so it was really cool to be able to capture this family portrait for them!

They are a beautiful family and were truly a wonderful group to work with! I had a lot of fun with them in the studio, and just love how their images turned out!! Here is a sneak peek for now!

Charlie is 9 months!

I can't believe how big cute little Charlie is getting! This little guy wanted nothing to do with photos at his session though, all he wanted was his mommy!! We still managed to get quite a few super cute images, of course, because even when a 9 month old is mad they are still cute! Here is a sneak peek of his session!

Ingenuity Marketing.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ingenuity Marketing to update their headshots and to create a group photo for them. Website Down.

Our website is temporarily down, the server has experienced a virus and had to shut down all websites that they hosted. If you were looking for our website and ended up here on our blog, that is why! Mari's One Month Session.

Mari's One Month Session!

Little Miss Mari came in this week for her one month session. She was SOOoooo amazingly good! Most one month sessions involve at least a little bit of crying or whimpering, but not this little diva! She was so mellow and allowed us to pose her pretty much anyway we wanted to!

I met her mom at the Baby Fair and am SUPER excited to have Mari on my First Year's Plan, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE watching these little babies change and turn into toddlers!! These are the greatest images of a baby's life and it is so much fun to capture those moments as they continue to change! Here is a sneak peek at her session!

Evan is three months.

Evan is three months!

This adorable little boy came in this week for his three month session! I met his parent's at the Baby Fair and was so excited to have him in the studio!! He was not a happy camper during his session, but we still managed to get some beautiful images of him (non-crying! lol). Here is a sneak peek at his session, enjoy!

Busy Busy Busy!

I am not complaining at all! I just wanted to let everyone know that the studio is in full summer swing right now and you should expect all orders to take the full 4 weeks, possibly longer if you ordered a specialty item. We pride ourselves on quality products and customer service, and with that said it takes a wee bit longer to get everything inspected and finalized when there are a lot of orders coming in at once.

We have been swamped the past two weeks and this week is no different! I just love this time of year when it's non-stop action in the studio and viewing room! In this industry we spend part of the year twiddling our thumbs hoping the phone will ring, and the other part of the year not even knowing where are thumbs are half the time!! It's crazy and chaotic, and I LOVE IT that way!

If you are looking to book a session, you will want to call soon as session times are filling quickly with High School Senior season upon us. And remember that we don't take weekend appointments very frequently, as Saturdays are consumed with weddings and Sunday is our day OFF!

Also, just a note that the studio will be closed July 3-6 for the 4th of July! We will be back on Tuesday the 7th!

John's Business Session.

John came in this past week for a business session. He owns a real estate company The Canny Group. I believe that now more than ever it is important to have a professional image of yourself on your website, business cards, marketing materials, etc. W

ith so much competition out there, if a potential client visits your website and your photo is of you standing in front of a wall in your office, they might just pass on by and go to the next person's site. But if you have a great looking professional image that really portrays your personality, they are going to be impressed and stop to read what you have to say!

Chanda and Dusting's Pregnancy!

I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing couple during their pregnancy! Chanda found me online and really liked my images, so arranged for a session for the two of them! They were SOOOooo sweet, I just loved having them in the studio! I hope they bring their little baby in for a newborn session ~ those are my FAVORITE sessions to photograph!!
