Russell Grant has become the seventh celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing.

The celebrity astrologer and his professional partner Flavia Cacace were eliminated following yesterday's live Wembley Arena special.

Grant landed in the bottom two alongside Holly Valance and a returning Artem Chigvintsev, who was absent from the show last week after suffering a spinal injury in training.

Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.

Craig Colton eliminated from The X Factor

The 22-year-old was eliminated from the contest after the first deadlock of the series, having received fewer votes than his bottom two companion Amelia Lily.

Colton selected 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow' by The Shirelles as his safety song, while Lily performed Lady GaGa's 'You & I'.

The X Factor returns next Saturday at 8.15pm on ITV1

British Actress Lucy Griffiths joins the cast of True Blood

It was announced that 25 year old British actress Lucy Griffiths is joining the cast of True Blood.

Lucy has been cast as Nora, Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) centuries-old vampire sister. Nora will be working as a double agent within the Vampire Authority. According to TV Line, Nora is described as “intelligent, intimidating, cool under pressure and a very good liar”. Apparently she “loves Eric deeply, but has dedicated her life to a higher purpose”.

Lucy is known for her role as Maid Marian in the BBC Series of Robin Hood. She was also in the miniseries Collision, and will be featured in the upcoming TV Movie Awakening.

True Blood will be back on HBO for its fifth season sometime next summer.

Synopsis
After his father is murdered, Lieutenant Commander Steven J. McGarrett decides to return home to Oahu in order to catch the killer. The governor offers him the opportunity to run a new task force where he is able to call the shots. Steve brings together his own team, beginning with Chin Ho Kelly; an ex-Honolulu Police Detective and former protégé of McGarrett's father. Kelly has been assigned to a federal security patrol after being suspected of corruption. Detective Danny "Danno" Williams is a New Jersey cop who recently moved to the island to be close to his 8-year-old daughter. Kono Kalakaua is Kelly's cousin and a rookie officer, fresh from the academy. McGarrett's team is given full backing from the governor.
