&lt;p&gt;No longer referred to as Small, Medium and Large, the new editions are named Basic, Professional and Enterprise. There are additions in features for all three along with expanded capability. For example, in the previous version of HubSpot Small you were given just one lead nurturing campaign. Now, with the Basic you have capability for 100 lead nurturing campaigns.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Pricing for new customers will be based on the number of contacts they have in their leads database, and number of visits per month. For example, customers on the Professional edition with fewer than 100 contacts and less than 500 visits per month will pay $400/mo while those with 100 - 1,000 contacts and unlimited visits per month will pay $700/mo.&lt;/p&gt;

The API acronym stands for, "Application Programming Interface" and is a way to integrate external applications in with a primary application or platform for additional functionality. According to HubSpot, the HAPI "includes a Leads API that provides developer access to data from the HubSpot Leads application and can be used for a variety of integrations, most commonly bi-directional CRM integrations for closed-loop-marketing."&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In addition to the Leads API, HubSpot, on their &lt;a title="developer documentation main page" href="http://docs.hubapi.com/wiki/Main_Page" target="_blank"&gt;developer documentation main page&lt;/a&gt; indicates more API's will become available in the future, such as: Keywords, Pages and WebsiteGrader.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Somewhat similar to the HAPI which will afford integration with other CRM products such as SugarCRM, 37 Signal's Highrise and others is the existing integration HubSpot provides as an AppExchange partner with Salesforce.com (SFDC). HubSpot customers choosing the medium product have the ability to easily integrate the Salesforce.com CRM for SFDC Professional users and higher with their HubSpot.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While the new pricing makes the large product twice as expensive as the medum product ($18,000/year vs. $9,000/year) developer access to the HAPI for the Leads API and other API's&amp;nbsp; soon to be released may be well worth the added investment.&lt;/p&gt;
