Transmission Films is an Australian film distributor, launched by former Dendy Films execs, working in conjunction with the Australian arm of Paramount Pictures. Transmission buys the rights for various Australian and international films, while Paramount handle the physical distribution and DVD releases of Transmission's releases.

Alliance Films/AV Pictures (2009) [Dailymotion]

The logos for Alliance Films (formerly Alliance Atlantis) and AV Pictures, from Lesbian Vampire Killers (2009).

I'd dare say that within the film's home market that the Momentum Pictures logo was seen instead of the Alliance logo, even though Momentum is an subsidiary of Alliance. This was seen on the Australian version of the film, which was distributed on DVD by Transmission through Paramount Australia.

The End of Evangelion Logos (1997) [Dailymotion]

The original two movies in the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise featured eight logos, both in the same order as listed here:
- Kadakawa Shoten
- TV Tokyo
- Sega
- Production I.G. (ends with "ING")
- Movic
- Star Child (with "King Records" byline)
- Toho Company
- Gainax

The logo for the franchise (IIRC) is included with this clip, which is taken from the second movie, The End of Evangelion (1997).

NBN News Intro, Close and IDs (2009, WS) [Dailymotion]

An updated copy of the NBN News intro and close, as well as the NBN IDs (including an Australia Day version).

This is the first Dailymotion uploads from me that have been recorded from an NBN digital television signal. Early in January 2009, NBN launched a digital signal from the Rossgole Lookout transmitter on VHF channel 9, which will serve Scone, Aberdeen, Muswellbrook and surrounding areas of the Upper Hunter.

Following a recent clip featuring logos from CTV's Corner Gas, here is the 2004 update of the logos of 335 Productions, Verite Films and CTV itself, with updated animation and the Bell Globemedia logo stricken off the CTV production logo.

I've also included the CTV Original Programming intro, as Australia's SBS left this in their airings of the show.

NBN finally updated its set, news graphics, openers and music during late November 2008. It sounds a bit like the Sky News theme...

Oh, and yes, NBN hasn't installed their digital signal in my neck of the woods yet. So we're stuck with 4:3 analogue "goodness" for the time being.

ABC DVD has updated their introductions, updating the logo to the version the ABC's commercial division uses. They still distribute their titles through Roadshow Entertainment.

For those who aren't aware, ABC DVD is the DVD arm of ABC Commercial, the commercial arm of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Australia's public broadcaster. The multi-coloured logo is used only for commercial purposes, they use their existing silver logo for their non-commercial arms.

Two promos for shows on Australia's ABC1 (part of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Australia's main public broadcaster), promoting their new Wednesday night line-up, perennial Saturday night favourite The Bill, and to top it all off, an ABC1 ID. The new name and logo was controversial at first, but things soon settled down.

The intros for Ten Late News and Sports Tonight and its close as well as of this year (2008). Sandra Sully and Brad McEwan present Australia's only commercial late night news bulletin. The bulletin airs weeknights across the Ten Network and its affiliates.

Originally, it was two separate programs, and on Friday nights, it's still the case. Sports Tonight also has two 5.30pm editions during the weekend.

SBS World News Australia Intro and Close (2008) [Dailymotion]

The intro and close for the late edition of SBS World News Australia, although there is little difference between this and the intro and close for the 6.30pm edition.

Unlike the commercial news, or ABC News, SBS World News Australia lends itself towards major national and in-depth international news rather than state or local news.
