Active use of Firing Range

The new Firing Range system coming with the Battlefield 6 beta is quite practical. It can be accessed instantly from the main menu and you do not wait for any loading screen.

More importantly, you can switch directly to Firing Range while in the weapon customization menu. When you want to try a new grip, optic, or a different attachment:

• Switch to Firing Range from the customization screen.
• Test the weapon.
• Return to the menu with a single button and try a new setting.

This system makes it easy for you to make fine adjustments that will seriously increase your in-game performance.

Weapon mount and bipod usage

It is seen that many players constantly run and enter combat during the beta process. However, players who use the weapon mount feature can shoot much more stably.

You can seriously reduce recoil by mounting your weapon while behind a wall or cover.

Especially when defending, a mounted weapon works almost like a “laser beam”.

If your weapon has a bipod attachment, you can fix it to the ground by lying down and pressing the mount button. In open area maps, this tactic provides a great advantage especially for sniper players.

Correct fire mode selection

There are fire mode options at the bottom of the weapons: full auto, semi-auto, and three round burst in some weapons.

The three round burst mode completely changes the playstyle in some weapons. For example, using the AK 205 in burst mode can make a close-range weapon more suitable for mid-range.

With a mount + burst or semi-auto combination, it is possible to use many weapons more controlled and long-range.

Zero distance adjustment in long range combat

Distance adjustment is of great importance when using a sniper, especially in open maps like Liberation Peak.

You can see how many meters away the target is by pressing the ping button twice.

Change the zero distance setting according to the target distance when using a DMR or sniper rifle.

For example, if the target is 200 meters away, setting the zero distance to 200 m allows you to correctly compensate for bullet drop.

Benefits of medic class

If there is a medic in the squad, staying close to them seriously increases your survival time.

You no longer need to spam voice commands to get health. You can get health directly by going next to the medic.

Also, thanks to the new drag feature:

• First drag your downed teammate behind cover.
• Then perform the revive process.

Trying a revive in the open mostly causes both players to die.

When you are down, definitely ping the enemy who shot you. In this way, the medic coming to save you will be aware of the danger.

Fall damage and parachute usage

When you jump from a height, if you press the jump or crouch button just before hitting the ground, you can reduce fall damage by doing a landing roll. However, this move leaves you temporarily vulnerable.

You can open a parachute by pressing the jump button when jumping from higher points, for example from a cliff or a helicopter. Remember, you only have one parachute right for each life.

Split screen support in Battlefield 6

Short answer: No. Battlefield 6 currently does not offer split screen support and it is highly likely that this feature will not be added in the future.

There are a few important reasons behind this:

• The game is built on large-scale battles supporting up to 64 to 128 players.
• Massive maps and intense action require high system performance.
• Frostbite engine does not have a structure optimized for local co-op.
• Split screen support never took place in previous games of the series either.

Running two different player views simultaneously on a single screen can lead to performance drop, FPS loss, and interface issues. Therefore, split screen support is not offered on the developer side.

How to play with friends in Battlefield 6?

Although there is no split screen support, it is possible to play together with your friends in Battlefield 6. The game strongly supports the online co-op experience.

To play together with your friends:

• You can create a party or join an existing party.
• You can communicate by using voice chat.
• You can form a squad in team-based modes.
• You can act together by spawning on your friends in the game.

Thanks to this system, even if you are not on the same screen, you can play as a team in a coordinated way and progress together.

Where to view statistics in Battlefield 6?

The process to view your statistics after logging into the Battlefield 6 main menu is quite simple. You need to switch to the Profile section located at the top of the screen from the main menu. When you enter this section, the game automatically brings basic statistics belonging to your player account to the screen.

Data available in profile section

Within the Profile tab, Battlefield 6 presents many data points that players wonder about most in detail. Important information to help you analyze your general performance is located here. Some statistics you can see in this section are:

• Total score
• Kills
• Kill to death ratio
• Revives

It is noteworthy that the revives data is located here because such support statistics cannot be followed in detail in many games.

How to hide Battlefield 6 profile?

If you do not want other players to view your statistics, Battlefield 6 offers you an option in this regard. When you look at the bottom right corner of the Profile screen, you will see a toggle option. You can make your profile private by pressing the necessary button here. This setting depends entirely on preference. You do not have to hide your profile, but you can activate it with a single button if you wish.

Visibility of other players’ statistics

You can also examine the profiles of other players within Battlefield 6 and compare their statistics. However, the relevant player’s profile must not be private for this. Data of users with profile privacy turned on cannot be viewed.

Thanks to the new portal experience code system, you can open your own lobby using this system and farm XP comfortably, either alone or with friends.

After finding the XP farm experience created with this code, you can host the lobby. If you want to play completely solo, you can prevent other players from entering by setting a password in the lobby settings. However, this system also works when playing with friends.

Efficiency of farm system

According to tests, the Breakthrough mode played against bots stands out as one of the most efficient options for farming XP. In this system, the lobby is automatically filled with bots, and you only fight against them. Although some Portal modes do not award standard XP, since this experience is specially adjusted, XP multipliers found in normal multiplayer modes work actively.

This means you can raise both your account level and weapon mastery levels very quickly by getting hundreds of kills in a short time.

Special settings have also been added so that players can survive longer during the farm. Since high health and fast regen are defined for your character, bots cannot kill you easily unless you take unnecessary risks in the open field.

Activate double XP boosters

One of the biggest advantages when farming XP with this method is the ability to use Double XP boosters. While in the lobby, you can significantly increase the amount of XP you earn by pressing the Escape key and activating your boosters from the XP boosters section in the top right.

Even this small detail allows you to unlock more attachments in a shorter time by multiplying your farming speed.

Map selection: Manhattan Bridge

In this XP farm lobby, the Manhattan Bridge map has been specifically selected. This is because the map has very dense and narrow areas. This allows bots to reach you faster, making it much easier to get kills. Additionally, since capture points are close to each other, it proceeds more efficiently to both kill bots and gain XP through the objective.

Since there are many tickets on the map, the match lasts a long time, which allows you to farm more XP within the same lobby.

Maximize XP with objectives

The most important detail is this: although killing only bots gives good XP, it is not the most efficient method. The real high XP comes from making a point capture while killing bots. Because for every second you stay on the point, you constantly earn XP through the capture tick. Also, kills taken while defending or capturing a point are rewarded with much higher XP multipliers.

Since a special rule set is used in this lobby, the capture and neutralize duration has been extended. Thus, you can stay on the point for a longer time, accumulate continuous XP, and obtain massive amounts of points by killing incoming bots at the same time.

The most efficient method proceeds as follows:

• Capture all points sequentially on the Attacker side.
• Continue killing bots while inside the point.
• Maintain this cycle until the match ends.

On the Defender side, constantly killing bots by standing at an advantageous spot like a roof within the defense zone increases XP gain even further thanks to the defender bonus.

Best advice for weapon mastery

One of the strongest aspects of this system is being able to farm weapon mastery using any weapon you want. However, since you are killing hundreds of bots, you may experience ammunition problems. Therefore, playing with the Support class is quite advantageous.

You can constantly replenish ammo using a supply bag and continue the farm process without stopping. Thus, both weapon levels and the attachment unlocking process accelerate incredibly.

Speed compared to multiplayer

This Portal method provides a great advantage, especially for players with low-level weapons, as it earns XP much faster compared to classic multiplayer matches. If you haven’t been able to unlock the weapons you want or are having trouble reaching good attachments, it is possible to reach high levels in a short time thanks to this system.

This XP farm lobby created via Portal stands out as a strong alternative for players who want to level up quickly in Battlefield 6 due to both its ease of application and high efficiency.

Accessibility for visual clarity

Start with the Accessibility tab to reduce screen clutter and improve in-game visibility. Turn off Menu narration and Subtitles to eliminate the need for further subtitle adjustments. Set Master volume to the highest level. Keep Tinnitus settings at maximum, though players with tinnitus should adjust this according to personal comfort.

In the Graphics quality section, the Color Profiles area is crucial. Set the system to Custom mode and increase Enemy and Friendly icon saturation to the maximum level. This method makes icons appear much clearer during intense combat and significantly eases enemy detection. You can also adjust colors based on personal preference.

Set World brightness to 45. Remember that this setting works in tandem with your monitor’s brightness and contrast, so balance it with your screen settings for the best result.

Camera effects for stability

The Camera Effects section stabilizes the game by disabling details like motion blur and screen shake. Turn off the following settings:

• Motion blur
• Weapon motion blur
• Infantry HUD motion
• Chromatic aberration
• Infantry crosshair projection

Additionally, reduce Camera shake amount and enable Reduced sprint camera bobbing. These settings lower the risk of motion sickness and ensure the screen remains clean and readable during combat.

Input response: Hold and toggle

You may encounter Hold and Toggle settings in both Accessibility and Gameplay sections. Since identical settings appear in different locations, verify your preferences here.

For actions like Steady scope, some players prefer a hold mechanic while others prefer a toggle. If a button press during gameplay yields an unexpected reaction, check this section to adjust the behavior.

Vibration control

Controller vibration is generally recommended to be turned off as it can improve aim performance. However, some players may keep it on due to habit. If you choose to use vibration, detailed customization is possible.

Gameplay configuration

Disable Invert look. If you look down when intending to look up, reverse this setting. Keep Capture area outline on to clearly understand if you are within an objective area. Enable HUD prompts and Vehicle control hints, but turn off Ping hints.

Set Infantry aim sensitivity to 80. This determines your general turning speed outside of ADS. Similarly, set Vehicle aim sensitivity to 80 to ensure a natural transition between infantry and vehicle gameplay.

Enable Control assist for helicopters. For tanks, activate Decouple tank turret aiming from turning to make turret control independent. Set Vehicle boost to Toggle.

Aim input curve selection

This section defines the acceleration behavior of stick movement. Select BF1 for the Infantry aim input curve. Players accustomed to previous Battlefield titles should choose based on the version they are most comfortable with.

Set all Aim assist values to 100 as they function correctly at maximum levels:

• Infantry aim assist: 100
• Aim assist slow down: 100
• Vehicle aim assist: 100
• Vehicle aim assist slow down: 100

HUD optimization

Keep the HUD on but disable HUD motion. Increase Horizontal HUD padding to keep elements like the minimap closer to the center, reducing eye strain. Keep the SOS filter on to make enemies more distinct against the background.

Advanced visibility settings

This area is highly effective for spotting opponents faster. Set Big map opacity to 100. Limit the Kill feed to Squad and Nearby to remove unnecessary information. Disable Kill feed icons to display weapon names instead for better readability. Turn off Multiplayer ping notifications.

Set Icon intensity to 100 and Vehicle icon intensity to 45. Most importantly, set Enemy icon scale to the maximum value of 150. This significantly enlarges icons over spotted enemies, providing a major visibility advantage.

Minimap setup

Select Large for Mini map size as it is used frequently. Enable Map rotation and disable Interior zoom. Configure the values as 100 / 75 / 60.

Crosshair adjustments

Set Crosshair intensity to 100 and the secondary value to 70. Change the Crosshair color to Green for better screen visibility. Select Thick for the crosshair style. Keep Infantry crosshair projection off for a cleaner look. Set Hit indicator numbers to Large to make damage numbers more apparent.

Core controller settings

In the Controller tab, ensure Infantry aim sensitivity is at 80. Set Field of view (FOV) to 110. This increases peripheral vision without distorting the image too much, helping you maintain sight of distant targets while gaining environmental awareness.

Set Vertical aim ratio to 40 for controlled up-and-down movement. Enable Uniform infantry aiming and set the Zoom sensitivity coefficient to 133, often considered the “sweet spot” for aim feel.

Disable Acceleration. Turn Infantry aiming left and right acceleration completely Off to ensure stick movement responds stably without ramping up. Set Infantry zoom aim sensitivity to 80.

For button layout, use the Custom option if you need to remap inputs, particularly if you are used to L1/R1 – LB/RB configurations.

Deadzone tuning

Deadzone settings in BF6 directly impact aim performance. The goal is to get a fast response to small stick movements without experiencing drift.

Recommended values:

• Left stick deadzone: 9
• Right stick deadzone: 6
• Axle deadzone: Unchanged
• Max input threshold: 80 and 100
• Trigger deadzone: 0

Setting Trigger deadzone to 0 ensures instant weapon and ADS response. Increase this value only if you experience accidental firing or aiming.

Graphics performance

Choose Balanced for the Performance preset; avoid Auto mode to prevent screen tearing. Increase Sharpness slightly to make enemies easier to distinguish. Set Weapon field of view to Wide to reduce the weapon’s on-screen size and gain more viewing area.

Audio profile

Select Headphones and use the War tapes sound profile for better Footsteps perception. Keep Voice chat and Radio off.

System: Crossplay options

Crossplay can be toggled based on the situation. It is recommended to turn it off if you do not wish to play against PC players while on a console, but it can be enabled when playing with friends.
