Wow. So I haven't been on in about two months. Life is kind of hectic. Back to being a full time college student and working every day. I have to say I do miss blogging though. I definitely am appreciative to still get comment and feedback even though I've been M.I.A. How have you guys been? What's up in the fashion world? School has been busy of course. I'm thinking about joining this Public Relations organization, which should be really beneficial to me. I love life moving at a fast pace...it keeps my mind from being idle and on bad things. So today on my phone I randomly started watching VEVO videos. I came across Common's video 'Come Close" and noticed his color blocking outfit. The colors resembled those of a Jamaican flag. This video was released in 2002. It's funny how some trends repeat themselves..

This month I caught up with fashionista Acacia`. I've known her for a few years now, and she's a go getter and bread maker. Striving to pursue a career in PR, she answered a few questions for me about her style.

Acacia`, what makes your style stand out? My style is eclectic, unique, and bold. The fact that I usually have a bunch of PINK on makes my style stand out.

Where are some places you look for style inspiration? I look at a number of blogs online. I also look at colors I see. The names of OPI inspire me to create a mood for a certain style.

If there was one place you had to choose to shop at for the rest of your life, where would it be? Victoria Secret !!!! Hands down

Lastly, what's one cosmetic and item of clothing you couldn't live without?! My mascara & my handbags.

The traditional earring (usually stud) seems to be going out of style. I'm starting to see more and more hoops, feathers, and now cuffs. What's a cuff you ask? It's simply a earring that doesn't require a piercing. I came across a website that had some super cute ones. I will be purchasing some cuffs soon and uploading pictures dolls. But for now, check out some super cute ones I found!

So how do you guys feel about this style of earring? Will you try it? I know I'll be purchasing plenty soon!

Experiencing a Dry Nail Spell?

Today I got suggested to check out a nail polish top coat named "Seche Vite". Now we've all came in counter with top coats that never work. But looking at the reviews of this one suggest to me that it actually works. Doing research on it I ran across a blog that actually had a lot of sample photos of the shiny finish. Check it out!

I can tell the difference in the polish. It actually glows. This product is available at numerous drug and beauty supplies stores. Retail starting at about 5$.

Lipstick Dilemma.

Okay guys so I've been purchasing lipsticks/lipgloss looking for the perfect nude/goldish color and I keep failing! Colors are tending to look way better online, then when they actually get on my lips they look too bland or too wild. So here's the lipsticks/gloss that I purchased so far...

MAC fresh brew.

This one turned out to be unnoticeable! Maybe it's too close to my skin tone or I need to pair it with another color? If you guys have any tips on this one help me out!

NYX - Taupe.

First off I didn't like the oily/glossy feel to the gloss. Then the color came out looking white! No Bueno.

Bare mineral -Sugar Cookie.

This one had a nice glitter in it but don't know about the color. Just not the goldish tone I was looking for.

NYX - Honey

Lastly I tried this one.. sigh. This came out clumpy and soooooo dry! No color. It looked like a pasty white. And when I applied it the actually stick broke in half!

So with these reviews can anyone suggest me to a nice nude-goldish color ? I'm sick of investing money and wasting it!

Have you heard or seen these? I'm sure if you have then it's been implanted in your memory. Jeffery Campbell shoes make a huge statement when seen. I've been thinking about purchasing some soon. They retail to about $150+, so you should be ready to invest when purchasing a pair. There are a few styles that I wanted to share with you guys that seem unique to me. Would you dare to wear these outstanding heels?

Hey guys :) Just updating. Haven't blogged in a few days because I been trying to organize my thoughts. Also in the process of teaching myself how to video edit so I can video blog instead. I wouldn't say I'm currently going through hardships, but I am going through some twist and turns. My next major blog will be on random things that come to mind. Amber Rose, a model and entrepreneur, was featured in the June issue of Vibe Magazine. She made the cover of the magazine and also had an exclusive issue with Vibe. Since the release of the issue, Amber has tweeted angrily about how her interview was presented in the magazine. She tweeted yesterday and said...

"Just read "my" interview in @VibeMagazine half of the story was untrue & ridiculous!"

"F##K that Cover F##K @VibeMagazine yall wrote a bunch of negative bullshit that I never said or did."

"Yall don't give a fuck that I have a Mom & Family thats gonna read that fake ass shit I gave yall a truthful interview & Yall f##ked me."

Apparently Vibe added things in the interview that Amber Rose allegedly never said. I have to get my hands on that issue and check it out.

What Do Women Really Want In A Relationship?

sRelationships are not a easy things for both parties. But both people should know that before even entering this companionship. Usually the men are dominant, and the females are supportive. These are things that society has trained us to act like simply because of our gender alone. But why do men go into relationships thinking women are so complicated? Women need the simplest things in relationships to satisfy them. I won't go into detail about every one of these things...that's for another day. What I will speak on is validation. For those of you who may not exactly know what it is, validation, when speaking in terms of psychology, is wanting a place to fit in. When this applies to relationships it means women just want to know where we stand in your life. It's never a good thing when you tell a woman you care for her, but on the other hand you show completely different signs. It needs to be shown. You saying "Baby I love you", but yet flirting with other women every date that y'all go on is not validation. Why is it so hard to say one thing and do that one thing? Men in this case make it complicated. Most women will tell you she wants and loves you then will turn around and show you why she does. But see, if a female does this then she is labeled as emotional and weak. But if a man does it he is labeled as a man. Simply that. He doesn't lose points for lying. He just makes up more excuses of why he did it.
I have trust issues. The infamous line I know 90% of the women reading this has heard. Why? Because men use this as an escape goat to get out of being committed. Your probably thinking why does he tell me this every time things get serious? Because he doesn't want to get serious. Take off the rose colored glasses and peep out the situation ladies! If a man really wants and loves you he will put aside all his old dusty girlfriends and take a chance on you. If he wants to keep you around and use you, he suddenly can't commit because he has trust issues. This bumps head with validation once again. If he has "trust issues" you feel like your not good enough or maybe there is someone. Which there probably is. Most men have told me that if they are single, it's a slim to none chance that they will commit to 'talking' to one girl. There is so much I could write about on this issues. Maybe I'll continue it later. Post your opinions on anything I said!

A Little Inspiration.

So today watching YouTube I discovered a channel name Those Girls Are Wild. They had a video reviewing a book written by Sherry Argov named Why Men Marry Bitches. Instantly I got captured in their energy and way of speaking. Shannon got my attention the most. I loved her vibe and how she carried herself. Me and her also have very similar interest when it comes to writing, photography, etc. I checked out her photography website and got instantly inspired. Here's the link by the way, here :). She posted a video on their YouTube channel that described her journey to success at the moment. One of the topics in the video was to start a list of things that you need or want to accomplish. I've heard plenty of times before that putting your goals on paper makes them a little more of a reality. Here's her journey video and also my list of things I want to have by this time next year.

Get a decent paying job.
Buy a professional camera to begin doing photojournalism and also freelance photography experience.
Purchase and iPad or Nook.
Buy a MacBook Pro and download all necessary programs for my photography.
Become involved in some kind of fashion or journalist club at school.
Create and build a vision board.
Continue to expand my blog and include more features on it, ex. interviews.
Keep my GPA up to par.
Buy a flip camera to start a YouTube blog as well.
Train myself to THRIFT STORE SHOP. Sounds exciting and worth it.
Master my main interest which are writing and public relations.
Come in tact with my talents and educate myself on them.
Learn French :) YAY!
Travel.
