German WWII Items, including:

A 133-page, 1936 Adolf Hitler Propaganda Book, forward by Goebbels and Goring, with 205 photos by Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann, has paper inside reading "Recovered from bombed out house in Munich 1945."
One of a kind scrap book with paper inside reading "Souvenir Book of Berchtesgaden, presented to Lt. Col. George Henderson U.S. Army Commanding at Berchtesgaden in 1945, hand made by Herr Erhard Peltz (a member of Hitler's house staff from 1936 to 1945) and Col. Henderson, house servant in 1945." The book has 39 original photos taken by Peltz.
A Nazi SS Stein, with the name R. Brendel engraved on top, and authentication documents inside verifying that Major Reinhard Brendel was an administrator in 1944 at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Camp and was later captured by the Russians and executed for war crimes by the Poles.
A wooden block (a beam tie) from Hitler's guest house at Obersalzberg, removed in 1988, with documentation and COA on back.
A piece of stone, with COA, that was removed from the front column of the Fuhrerbau (Nazi Party Headquarters) in 1997, while it was under repair.

The auction features an award winning 1948 Nash sedan, and a variety of Nash "New Old Stock" (NOS) and memorabilia. Other items include vintage automotive tools, supplies, accessories, and parts. Also automotive equipment. Many items are NIB or never used. And bicycles and mopeds. Selling after the automotive items are over 150 vintage beer steins. Selling at 10:15 am is a 1948 Nash Super 600, Model 4840 with 44,125 original miles, K-231951. The Nash Car Club of America gave this car its "Best All Around Original Vehicle" award for 1988. In original condition, it has never been restored and comes with the original owner's manual.

Also in this auction are parts and memorabilia for Nash, including 2 transmissions, starters, a generator, a Carter carburetor in original box, fuel pumps, 6 clocks, vertical bumper bars, a hood emblem, advertising thermometers, a Nash emblem, etc.

Auction: WWI Museum; Civil War, Indian War Items

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct a World War I Museum Civil War and Indian War Auction with over 500 lots at the Showplace in Binghamton on Sunday May 4, 2014 at 10:00 am , with a preview at 8:00 am.

They are auctioning the contents of Billy Pearson’s World War I Museum together with Civil War and Indian War items. Pearson’s Museum contained items he acquired here and in France, Germany and England. Pearson collected many things, from quilts to pre-Columbian art. But it was his collection of World War I items that he kept to the end. (More about Billy Pearson below.)

Billy Pearson (1920-2002) was a successful jockey, quiz show contestant, art dealer and collector. Racing thoroughbreds, he won over 800 races. Self-tutored in art, he won the $64,000 Question, and later the $64,000 Challenge. He was a dealer in pre-Columbian art and had an extensive art collection. In 1996 Arts and Antiques magazine named him one of America’s top 100 Collectors.

A colorful character with a gusto for life, he married six times and wrote an autobiography, Don’t Look Back. He hobnobbed with celebrities, including Andy Williams, Burl Ives, Edward G.
