On the surface, network marketing companies appear to be
thriving communities of consuming customers all happy with
the product that they are consuming and they really are, but
what drives that community of thriving consumers has
absolutely nothing to do with the product itself.

Let's think about this statement.

Let me ask you a question:

Why did you decided to get started in a network marketing
business?

You don't have to say anything out loud but answer this
question in your head right now to yourself.

I guarantee you answer is somewhere along these lines "Well,
I started my business because I wanted to make some extra
money and who knows maybe even become financially free."

Am I right?

Well let me ask you another question now.

When you prospect and talk to leads about your business what
do you talk to them about?

Most likely you try to stick to the corporate script which
inevitable ends up with your prospect asking you questions
about your network marketing companies products or services.

And by the end of the conversation you've lost control of
the call and both you and your prospect end up confused
(usually get somewhere between details about your companies
product or service and the compensation plan).

Using Your Inner Guidance System
We know that the body has a natural bias toward health and energy. It's designed to last for 100 years with proper care and maintenance. When something goes wrong with any part of our body, we experience it in the form of pain or discomfort of some kind.

We know that when our body is not functioning smoothly and painlessly, something is wrong, and we take action to correct it. We go to a doctor; we take pills; we undergo physical therapy, massage or chiropractic. We know that if we ignore pain or discomfort for any period of time, it could lead to something more serious.

How to Tell Right From Wrong
In the same sense, nature also gives us a way to tell emotionally what's right for us and what's wrong for us in life. Only when you're dissatisfied for some reason do you have the inner motivation to engage in the outer behaviors that lead you onward and upward.

Listen to yourself. Trust your inner voice. Go with the flow of your own personality. Do the things that make you feel happy inside and you'll probably never make another mistake.

Here are three steps you can take immediately to put these ideas into action.

First, listen to yourself and trust your own feelings. If there is a part of your life that causes you stress and unhappiness, resolve to deal with it.

Second, identify those areas of your life where you are dissatisfied or frustrated for any reason. What changes should you, could you make?

Third, remember that nature wants you to be happy, healthy, popular and prosperous. Any deviation from those conditions is a signal to you that action is necessary.

Also learn all you can about the business of Network Marketing. There are some great books and audio programs out there that you can use, as well as some great websites that help you learn how to be successful. Also work with our up line to learn all that you can.

Practice

Next you need to put into practice what you have learnt. As you learn something new, put it into practice immediately, that way you will retain the lessons much better and you will quickly find out what works for you and what doesn't.

Teach

And finally teach what you have learnt to those that you bring into the business, because, just like you depend on your sponsor to guide you, your downline depends on you for guidance. Teach them all you can, so that they can also become successful in this business.

The quicker they see success, the less likely they will drop out later. Also remember that their success ultimately results in your success. As Zig Ziglar is famous for saying, "Help enough other people get what they want, and you can have everything in life that you want."

You see your success in Network Marketing, truly does depend on the success of your downline, so it is in your best interest to help them to achieve their dreams and goals. And by helping them, you are also teaching them to help those that they sponsor into the business, and hopefuly the trend will continue. You could say it is a little like viral marketing. As you downline emulates you, they will build your business much faster that trying to do it all yourself.

One last though on this, is that those you sponsor into this business will inevitably emulate you. So if you sit back and wait for something to happen, they will do the same. However, if you are actively out there learning all you can, putting it into practice & teaching your downline to do the same thing, they are more likely to follow your actions and and both of you will become successful together.

You cannot succeed in this business alone. It truly is a team sport. You need your downline as much as they need you. So be the leader that they need and can look up to and work with, because until you do, you will never see the results you truly desire.

Work together with each person in your team, because the two of you will achieve far more than either of you alone. You will soon see your business multiply instead of it simply being added to over time.
