I closed it...<br /><br />I felt a bit sad of course...but inside I also knew that I didn't feel the same passion I felt for BAAAHHH!!! for this new project...so I let it go...<br /><br />I knew I had a friend who applied with a show as well and I just had my fingers crossed for him...later in the afternoon he told me he got in :) I was thrilled for him...it's his first time for at the Fringe and he wrote the show...I'll be there supporting him...and I'm so very happy for him :)<br /><br />Things happen for a reason and maybe it's better this way for me...Stefano is super busy in Italy with a bunch of new show and he's bringing Avenue Q there and he's working like a mad man for that...<br />On my side I just booked 2 huge voice overs in New York and one of them will keep me bnusy until the end of July...<br /><br />I'm also looking for a new project...something that will excite me the same way our little sheep did...<br /><br />Thanks to all of you who are still stopping by /></b></span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;">Long time no write...but I gotta say I used to stop by here often and this place always put a smile on my face.<br /><br />Stafno was very busy with many different projects in Italy, one of which will open there in a few weeks...<br /><br />Meanwhile I followed our little sheep and I know it in my heart that one day that show will be where we want it to be...<br />Right now there's also a possibility to do a staged reading of the show in Rome...we'll see...and of course you'll be the first one to know :)<br /><br />But I surely didn't stop working and looking for other projects...both myself and Stefano we read so many different plays, but all of them even if some were very good, just ended up on the cutting room floor...they weren't what we were looking for...but then...<br /><br />Years ago I remember coming across a good female monologue and I remember buying the play it was from...at the time I did find that script interesting but nothing happened...<br />Few months ago I decided to use on of the scenes in one of my acting classes and I fell in love with it again...I mailed the play to Stefano and two months later (gotta love the postal service in Italy) he got it...<br /><br />He was so very busy rehearsing his shows in Italy but one day he told me that he was gonna read it before going to bed...<br /><br />At a very late time in Italy I received a text message from him...he was laughing and telling me how much he loved it!!!<br />I remember just smiling and already picturing us at opening night hehehe I can't help it<img _fcksavedurl="/editor/fck/editor/images/smiley/rhymbox-1.0/wink.gif" src="http://www.splinder.com/editor/fck/editor/images/smiley/rhymbox-1.0/wink.gif" />....<br /><br />Then I get other texts with lines from the play and a bunch of smiling faces...we both knew we found our new project!!!<br /><br />So we talked and we decided to apply once more for the FringeNYC...it's such a prestigious festival and every year is growing more and more...<br /><br />We got this play just in time...the last day to apply for the festival is this upcoming Saturday...<br /><br />Cross all the fingers you guys have...we know how hard it is to get accepted...<br /><br />Once again me and Stefano will codirect the play and I'll be acting in it, as well as Felipe Bonilla, the lead actor in BAAAHHH!!!...and of course we'll have Marcello La Ferla on our side for beautiful logos and amazing creative ideas...<br /><br />The show has 2 women and 1 man...so we will audition for the other Stefano are still fighting for it...I sent out a bunch of "sheep packages" to different producers and some replied to us telling us that they really enjoyed reading it but unfortunately they were already booked with other shows for this season...<br /><br />That will not stop us...<br /><br />We also want to bring this little sheep to Italy as well...and we are not giving up...<br /><br />This BAAAHHH!!! at the Fringe in NYC...I went back to read the post I wrote that night...and I remembered all the emotions, the feelings, the chills...<br /><br />An experience that changed me deeply, that made me grow as an actress, a director, and a human being...<br /><br />I look at where I am today and if someone would have told me this a year ago I wouldn't have believed him...time goes by, things change and we grow...and this little sheep that is still in my heart...I'm not ready to let her go...I'm still trying for her...<br /><br />Meanwhile we are talking with Stefano about future projects and soon we will have to start moving...<br /><br />Always go on...always!!!<br /><br />Thanks to all of you that still stop by here...for your support and love...you were a big part of thins project
