With so many of us working its a juggling act between nursery, school, clubs, housework and work that there is little or no time spare. So when do you do the Christmas Shopping. If like me, pretty much is online and I have to start early otherwise it doesn't happen. A special "kiss" made using one of our starter kits and featured in the Daily Express:

This kiss was created by one of our customers to send to her husband who was working away. He certainly wasn't expecting a kiss when he opened the box but it did bring a smile to his face! Priceless!

Another customer created a kiss using one of our inkless imprint kits and asked us to change the colour to red so she could email it to her boyfriend. Others have sent the inkless prints back and we've created some stunning silver jewellery and created a kiss keyring so they can always be together.

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert

This is a concert not to be missed, you only have until Friday 2nd March to register for tickets to the Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace. It's a ballot so 5,000 people will be lucky enough to share this very special ocassion and those who are successful in the ballot, will also be able to enjoy a Jubilee picnic in the magnificent gardens of Buckingham Palace, before taking a seat in front of the Queen Victoria Memorial, where the concert will take place.

Enpowering Pregnancy

I was reminded this week of how we don't always come home with a baby when we are pregnant which urged me to remind new parents about a website and charity, count the clicks which was set up by one of my customers. Sophia is a truely remarkable woman who lost her little girl "Chloe" in 2009 and went onto set up Count the Clicks Charity to empower Mums with knowledge and confidence throughout pregnancy in the hope that this will result in a reduction in the UKs Stillbirth and Neonatal deaths. It's fantastic to hear that although Sophia's second pregnancy didn't go as smoothly as most that she now has been able to share the joy of a wonderful little boy "George". I'm waiting to meet George to frame his 3d castings to match those we framed of Chloe back in 2009 and I can't wait! Visit "Count The Kicks" website to show your support and for more information. With Mothers Day fast approaching we need to ensure that no mummy's are forgotten! It's our jobs as parents, Mothers and friends to remind all those new dads to be, new dads and the ones that forget Mothers Day. Its not just about buying the most expensive present that you can find, its about recognising the hard work that a Mother puts into life. Mothers are very special and its nice to let them know it once in a while. Its the small things that make us happy (ooh and the odd big thing too). Fathers Day one of the busiest times at Creative Casting yet Mothers Day is not so - this leads me to believe too many Men either forget or pop into the local petrol station and buy a bunch of flowers and a card. Its much nicer to receive a handmade card from your children and a present that you can see has had much thought gone into it. We've got some fantastic ideas that don't have to stretch the budget from just creating some footprints which you can add to a card to personalise right through to the beautiful fingerprint/babyprint jewellery. Pets are part of the family

Some will say an animal is just that but most would agree that they are part of the family ! Technology is moving so fast that we are able to create some beautiful momentos of our family to cherish for years to come. We've been asked frequently in the last year to help create some lasting memories of our pets and have as such created a range suitable to do just that. Our clay imprint range allows you to create a footprint of your animal in a super soft clay and either leave it natural or paint it. You can simply buy a pack of clay on its own or alternatively buy a framed kits so that your pet is never far from your sight. We can also create some beautiful pieces of silver imprint jewellery from noses to paws. We provide the necessary material to take the print and you post or email it back to us and we'll create a stunning 99.9% fine silver charm or pendant with your animals prints on. A plaster hand & foot ready to start the bronzing process

A break from the workshop for me & just time to post a shot of one of the sets of baby casts I'm currently working on.

These plaster hand & foot casts are now steeped in silicone in preparation for being cast in solid bronze. Always nice to make these gifts, as the bronze casts have such weight & longevity.
