Having kids myself, I know what a pain it can be to get them to sleep. Aged one, my little first year baby is the most work. I used to have to hold him for sometimes hours just to get him off to sleep, until my friend recommended the Fisher Price Rocker Bouncer. At first I though oh its just another baby chair there’s nothing special about it. Then after borrowing a friends and noticing how much my baby loved it my view changed.

First of all, you one of the biggest selling points, is that it changes from an infant rocker to a toddler chair. This means that for me, with two boys ages one and four, they can both use the same chair just by switching it around. There is a kickstand that folds in and out which enables whoever is in the chair to sleep comfortably in Fisher Price Rocker Baby Bouncer. There are also soothing vibrations which run throughout the chair, allowing the baby to be relaxed and fall to sleep easier.

The seat has two different positions it can recline to, allowing you to set it to your babies preference. The sturdy central restraining holds your baby tightly in place, and leaves no room for your baby to slide out and hurt themselves.

The hanging toys are fantastic. My child loved them so much I detached the baby bouncer and put them in the car for him to play with as well. There are various toys including rattles, squeaky toys and just normal plain toys. You can also link your own toys to the Fisher Price Rocker Bouncer, and there are spaces allocated to do just that.

In conclusion, I would rate the Fisher Price Rocker Bouncer a ten out of ten. It is a fantastic product, which I thoroughly regret not buying earlier. Retailing at around £34.00, it’s a very cheap price for a fantastic product. If you are looking for a baby bouncer but are not quite sure which one to get you cannot go wrong with this one.

Also useful for travel, as you can take a lot of it apart.

As you can see from the review the Fisher Price Papasan baby Bouncer is a fantastic product, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking into buying a baby bouncer for their child. Not only is it affordable, but it is also a fantastic product which does the job required and does it well which as the most important thing as you baby is involved.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of getting one, or who already has a baby bouncer but is looking to upgrade to get at better one. Fisher Price is one of the leading baby toy making companies in the world. They supply over 5 million baby toys a year, which is a substantial amount for a company. However recently a lot of people have been asking me are Fisher Price products safe. My friends know I have many of their products, yet they have heard bad things about them so I am going to tell you my experiences with Fisher Price.

I have 3 main fisher Price products. A highchair for my child, a bouncy chair and a game which I play regularly. I have owned the highchair for about 3 years. During that time, I have had to re screw in one screw, and that’s due to my child being hyper around mealtime and rocking back and forwards. Apart from that its treated me very well and has posed no problems. The very high chair I have, went through a lot of criticism once because people said they broke easily. I can tell you now after almost daily usage for around 3 years it is still working in fine condition.

The baby bouncer I have owned for a bout a year and a half. Again there had been a lot of criticism about this product saying that the support structure often gave way, and thus the baby hit the floor. I have had nothing but joy from this. Not only does it put my baby to sleep when he sits in it, he also enjoys being in it and playing with the toys that attach. I haven’t yet had a single fault with this product.

Although a small puzzle, still a good buy. Not along to go wrong with these I suppose, but it has done me well the last 10 years! Still all looking good and the picture has not peeled away from the actual pieces yet so that’s a good sign.

As you can see although only a small section of their products, I believe them to be safe for Our Babies as they are all very well made and have lasted me so long. I believe the media hype up all the bad points about Fisher Price and do not bring out the good points enough.

Starting off by selling a Dr Do little, the company had little selling success until the 1950s where they decided that plastic could be a good material to use for toys. This effectively changed the toy world, as fisher Price was one of the first companies to use plastic to make toys.

In 1969 Herman Fisher retired from being the owner of the company, as Fisher Price was purchased by Quaker Oats. In 1991 Fisher Price once again reached its independence from the Quaker Oats Company, and became a publicly traded company. Since then, they have got bigger and have increased their revenue dramatically.

Over the last 80 years Fisher Price have been in business, they have created around 5000 toys and certain pieces of equipment. They are widely believed to be a main founder in the modern toy industry and up till today have fantastic selling records and vast amounts of orders.

Brands that have been marketed by Fisher Price include Disney, Dora the Explorer, Sesame Street and Barney. These all proved to be fast selling products for the company, as at the time when the programs came out millions of children watched them, thus wanting the products.

A sub section of Fisher Price is Babygear products. Although not kicking off that much until recently, this series of products is proving to be a hit all over the world. They make various items from baby chairs and bouncing chairs to cots, toy cars and beanbags.

Fisher price have a good name, and have rarely been involved in any trouble with the law or with other companies. However in 2001 a product recall involved over a million toys due to fears the paint used could contain lead, however at the time many other companies were using the same paint so it seems unfair to pin point all the blame onto Fisher Price, as a lot more companies were doing it.
