I know a few people are a little perturb about the announcement because they have tickets to her US shows this summer! I don't have any tix so I'm good! With the busy year she has planned I would have thought this news would have come after the tour. I guess we need to wait for Life is But a Dream Part II!

Do y'all watch Scandal? That has got to be the best show EVA! The season finale had me sitting in the fetal position for two hours after it went off! I don't know how I am going to make it until the next season begins!

All White Everything at Derby Hatwalk

Saturday was the 3rd Annual Derby Hatwalk Brunch at Villa Christina. This event was pretty amazing! The ladies pulled out their fabulous hats and dresses to mix and mingle for a great cause! Derby Hatwalk is an annual charity that benefits TRIP, an national organization that helps to rebuild communities across the country!

My morning got off to a rocky start! The zipper broke on my original fabulous dress right before I was planning to walk out of the house!!! So I had to switch some things up real quick but was still late! Then, I had to chase after my hat in the parking garage after it blew off my head! I also tried to take a short cut to get out of the garage and got locked in a stairway! But the day turned out amazing and my back-up dress looked pretty good!

P's Bedroom Makeover Party #DisneyPaintMom {Before + After}

We held Peyton's Princess Bedroom reveal party Sunday! Her room was desperately in need of a makeover! Being part of the Disney Paint Mom program gave me the push I needed! Disney just partnered with Glidden Paint to introduce a collection based on the Disney characters that includes five specialty finishes! These paints are only available at Walmart.

Remember, I told y'all I am not a decorator! And I had a trillion and a half things going on this same weekend :) . Now that I got that out of the way check out what I did!

Denim Dress + Rent the Runway Party

Happy Friday! So ready to start the weekend! I am going to keep this short today. This weeks Style Me Friday look is wear trouser or slacks. Not a big fan of this look but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. Most of my pants have skinny legs so I dug deep to find some wide leg slacks. I haven't had to dress up for work in about 7 yrs so I don't own a lot of "slacks". I went real corporate looking on y'all with my look this week.

The Pandora + Lucky Magazine Mother's Day Celebration event in Atlanta was off the hook! I am so thankful for the wonderful opportunity to co-host the event with Melissa Lum, accessories editor for Lucky Magazine. Days leading up to the event felt like it was my wedding day! (Sorry Mister). The rain in Atlanta was non-stop on Saturday but that didn't not keep the guest from coming out!

Modeling on TV for Derby Hatwalk {Video}

Monday morning I appeared on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta to support the Derby Hatwalk Brunch this Saturday in Atlanta. Not long after I wrote that About Me post and told y'all how scared I get in front of the camera, I was asked to go on the show as a hat model to promote the event! I was SO nervous! I thought I was going to pee on myself! I toughed it out and I'm still alive! LOL!

I got to rock this FABULOUS fascinator by Arturo Rios! The hat was donated to the Derby Hatwalk E-boutique and all proceeds will benefit TRIP. Sorry to notify you that this hat is sold! But there are plenty more left to choose from! HERE! Details on my dress HERE.

The first pictures released had me thinking I wasn't going to be able to support this collection since Bey was rocking a tiny winy bikini and booty shorts. 3rd Annual Derby Hatwalk Brunch + #Giveaway

I Heart the Verizon Blackberry Z10

I've had the new Blackberry Z10 on Verizon for a few weeks. I had a problem with the SIM card and had to get a new one so I am a little behind on trying out the new device. I told you guys that I was a former "crack"berry addict HERE. I was very reluctant to let my old Blackberry go to get a new Android or Iphone. I'm finally getting my feet ~~fingers~~ wet with the new Blackberry Z10.

My biggest fear of trying a new device is that it will not be user friendly. To my surprise the Blackberry Z10 on Verizon has been very user friendly! The phone is loaded with videos showing you how to use features. Anything I wanted to know I could type it in the search (like a mini Google). The Blackberry Z10 does not have a "home" button. Everything is done with a swipe. Swipe up if you need to get to the home screen!

Here are the main screens on the Blackberry Z10. I love that you can see the recently used apps on one screen. I hate having to go in and out of apps!

I have been crazy busy this week! Not only did I have a few events I was scheduled to host, my mom got really sick on Monday and had to be taken to the hospital. But she is doing 100 times better than when I took her in! Praise God! Found out she had an infection she didn't know about and is finally getting treatment! She is doing great!

Today I bring you a bunch of random facts about me! I love reading other bloggers random about me post. I love learning more about the bloggers that I follow. Here we go!

I am very outgoing, but I don’t like taking pictures. That is why I have the same pose in every picture (I know you don’t believe me). I get mad nervous when it comes to video but I tough it out!
I have two sisters and a brother. They are more than 13 years older than me! See next random...
My mom had me at 40! I was a big surprise!
I am obsessed with Q-tips! I use them a few times a day. I may be the only person that has a box of Qtips on their shopping list monthly!
I can’t eat without Tabasco sauce… and get it straight…Tabasco and hot sauces are NOT the same! I may or may not have some Tabasco in my purse!
I wasn't sure if I wanted kids, even after I got married. Now here I am, obsessed with my child! Not sure if I want a second! *takes b.c. pill*
I don't sleep much. I don't know how I survive.
My all time favorite movies are Coming to America, Office Space, and Scarface. Just added to the list is Bridesmaids. I finally saw it and could not stop laughing!
I dated Mister for 2 1/2 years before he proposed! That was my longest relationship ever!
Never had a boyfriend over a year straight until I met Mister. I hate to waste time! No, I wasn't a 304! LOL!
I am blessed to have some awesome BFFs! Most of them are from elementary school and high school
I never had a relationship with my dad.
I love Hip Hop! Not the new stuff but all the rappers that are my age or older : ). My faves are Biggie, Wu-Tang, Nas, Jay Z, Common, Outkast, Lauren Hill and Eminem.

Disney Paint Room Update #DisneyPaintMom

I'm back with my Glidden Disney Paint room makeover update! I shared with you guys that I would be using the new Glidden Disney Paint to update Peyton's room (HERE). The Disney paint collection at Walmart features 115 fun colors and 5 cool finishes! I am happy to report that we are making progress! Peyton thinks this is a big art project so we let her take the lead!
