Winnie the Pooh Diaper Cake

Winnie the Pooh Diaper Cake

This Winnie the Pooh Diaper Cake is a 3 tier diaper cake made with 75 diapers. 45 on the bottom tier, 20 on the middle tier, and 10 on the top tier.

I secured two baby bottle to a serving plate with hot glue. Then I rubber banded the rolled diapers to the bottles making sure that the overall shape remains round. Repeat this for each tier.

I hot glued baby spoons to the back of each ribbon wrapped item and stuck the spoons in the diaper to secure each item to the cake.

Deluxe Diaper Cake to match baby shower colors

Boy Deluxe Diaper Cake

For the deluxe style, I make sure I have my 85 diapers, cake pans to help arrange them uniformly in the fanned style. Make three tiers(40, 28, and 17 diapers) and secure them with rubber bands around the outside of each tier. I use cardboard paper towel rolls in the center for stability, then decorate according to baby shower theme or nursery theme. In the case of this diaper cake it was decorated for the baby shower colors of blue, green and brown.
I included a Curious George stuffed animal that the customer had. So I also incorporated some monkey embellishments to tie George in with the cake.

Sip N' See Baby Shower

2011-04-01T22:10:00.000-07:00

A "Sip N See Baby Shower" is where guests come to see and celebrate the newborn baby after he/she has arrived. It is perfect for adopted babies - giving the new parents a chance to show off their new little one!

A Sip N See can be a casual event, where guests stop in, visit, sip on punch and munch on snacks. Or it can be a stylish occasion full of decadent desserts, designer decorations and tons of family and friends!

We recently came across an amazing event, planned by the talented Angela from "Invites & More by Angela."

Every little detail is perfect! The green, purple and brown colors she used look wonderful together! Below are several pictures to inspire you!

Such a sweet and simple cake - I bet it was delicious!

Check out the tricycle diaper cake!

Love this crafty spin on the Dirty Diaper Game!

Cute invites!

Love how the pillows have matching fabric tied around them! ...and the presents are all color coordinated ~ Perfect attention to every little detail!

The pictures from this Sip N See are so detailed and inspiring! You can take the cute and creative ideas used and apply them to any shower theme! Thank you Angela for letting us share your party with everyone!

Invitation Poem for Baby Sprinkle Baby# 2

They have their Precious Little Girl,
A Handsome Boy is on his way,
Let's get together to celebrate the big day!

Much of what they'll need,
Family has already provided,
A few things for baby and Mommy too,
Will surely leave Mommy delighted!

A bed set here and blue stuff there,
A pedicure and some new Mommy clothes,
Will help Mommy feel brand new again,
Especially her toes!

Baby Sprinkle Invitation Verse

While pregnant with #3, we moved closer to relatives that were once out of state and unable to make my first shower. My husband's cousin came up with this verse.

A new family member so soon will be here!
A Granddaughter, a Daughter, a Sister so dear.
We're planning a Shower and hope you can come
To welcome the Princess with good family fun.
We missed number one. We missed number two.
Three strikes and we're out, so we're counting on you!

Help needed for a baby "sprinkle"...

There is seven years between the new baby and most of the large items that are needed by the parents are updated and unsafe after 4-5 years.

So not only do they need small items but also large items. We are having a Sprinkle Tea but I am stuck as to how to explain in a poem what that is? Can you help.

Baby smiles and giggles galore
Rachelle and Jamie are having one more.

Madison and Daniel are so excited to know
that a baby sister is ____________________

We invite you to join us for a "Sprinkle" Tea
to celebrate Baby number three.

Please help asap, we have been struggling for weeks and the invites need to be mailed. Thank you

In case you need more help filling your cart; my mommy is registered at Babies-R-Us, Target and Wal-mart.

My sister is pregnant with her 5th child, which will be boy #5! I am looking for wording for her coed "sprinkle." I don't want her to look greedy by having another shower, so I just want people to bring the basic necessities. Her oldest child is 21 and the youngest is 3. She sold everything after the last baby. Please help!

Pins, Diapers, Bottles Galore! (Mom name) and (Dad name) are having one more! Big brother/sister (Name) has plenty to share so this is only a "sprinkle" to show that we care.
A sprinkle of gifts, or advice to share,
and the laughter of friends will sprinkle the air.
Please join us to celebrate before baby is due! We still do not know if it will be pink or blue.

If a gift you wish to bring, Please remember this one thing,
As this is Baby Number Two, just a simple thing we ask of you,
Most they have, but a few they need items like nappies, and bottles to feed,
Maybe some Clothes, cute & Blue they?ll sure bring a smile.
As a baby Boy will be coming soon!
But if you?re still stuck and in need of a clue,a gift card would more than certainly do :)

Tiny hands and tiny feet
a surprise new addition
to make their family complete.

She only needs the little things
like bottles and bibs
We've got her covered
for strollers and cribs.

It'll just be a sprinkle
She doesn't need a shower
A chance for her to relax
even just for an hour.

We've registered her
at Babies R Us
Just a few things
we don't want to make a big fuss.

We'll have plenty of decorations
in pink and in blue,
But let's keep the party a surprise
for You Know Who!!

Pins, Diapers, Bottles Galore
(mom) and (dad) are having one more.
If a gift you wish to bring,
Please remember this one thing -
As this is Baby Number Two,
A simple thing we ask of you.
Most they have, but a few they need -
Smaller things like nappies, and bottles to feed,
Diapers, bibs, lotion and shampoo,
or something adorable in baby blue!

One little boy is already here
He brought us all his love and cheer

He wants to share all of his toys
But there are no other little boys

Now mommy's expecting baby number two
I know what she's having, how about you?

No need to shower this mommy again
We just have to sprinkle with odds and ends!

Let?s get the set ready for the star of this sequel,
Instead of a shower, we forecast a sprinkle.
You may remember the first was a Mister,
Now join us in welcoming his first little Sister!
Not much is needed, just the basics will do,
Such as diapers and clothes are welcomed from you.
If you bring diapers, a great prize you may win,
In a raffle we?ll be sure to put your name in.
So let?s eat some good food and fun games we will play,
We hope you can come, it would just make our day!!
