I know I have not been posting..but its been crazy hectic with the boy...He graduated the day before Thanksgiving and we got home with him about 2:30 Thanksgiving morning and except for 2 1/2 days in December, he was home from Thanksgiving until January 5th. Yes he had a longggggggg break. He is now in Miss at his permanent base, loving it and bringing in and taking off planes...scary thought there...LOL...He almost got married...thank you Jesus..he didn't...it was a bad time for all of us..but he has started dating a very sweet girl he went to school with and life is good at the moment...his best friend that went to Texas with us for his graduation...graduated yesterday from BMT...yessssssssss I cried when I talked to him...LOL So anyhoo here is a few pics of him and others.

Just a quick update....Aaron is doing great...He started into block 3 last Thursday and went to Flt Doctor for his feet and they are working on getting that fixed. He had a great weekend, as you can see from the picture below..He has always had a dream to meet Brett Favre and he got his wish. He was so excited and we had a hard time calming him down...all day...LOL. I love that he has gotten another one of his wishes. The other picture I posted was from 2 weeks ago...him a few other guys decided to have a nerf ball war...LOL..yeah they had fun and got several guys coming into the dorm. He's having so much fun, and I'm so happy for him and very proud of what he is doing with his life.

Well things are going ok, he's having problems with the heat and humidity. He's having some sinus headaches and his feet are giving him some problems..but all and all its all good. He's on a waiting further orders before he starts block 3 and it could be a few more wks before he gets to start. I'm including some pictures that Tammy took last weekend while she was there....thank you so much Tammy and Kevin.

We are going down next week and spend weekend with him and I'm sure I will have lots more pictures then...:)

I love him, I really do but one of the days......lmao...his new thing to do to me is tell me....mom I have more stripes..I outrank you....LOL yeah well son guess what...I brought you into this world and I can dang sure take you out....lol....he tells me all of the time...you have to be nice to me to get on base....man I really do love our little games we play and I'm so happy that he is happy with his life.

He sent me a picture last night trying to make me scared..hehehe, This is his MTI face...I'm really scared....lol

My son was so bored....LOL nothing on base to do, storms all over the place..so he cleaned and studied...ummm hello..where's my son...the same one that slept till 2 oclock each day...my he has changed. He blew up his cell phone and called from a friends cell telling me in a panic...momma get me another phone quick..LOL and of course me being me...out the door I go..phone is on its way to him...he might just live after all..lol

There is not enought words to describe this experience. One thing before I forget....If you read this and you have a loved one there........breathe..LOL they are all good. hot maybe, but I did not hear any screaming other than like I did when my son played football. There is 50 to 60 in a flight..so their MTI's have to yell so that everyone can hear them. I have also watched the DVD of my son's first 6 wks and there was none there either. If I had known this in the beginning...my life would have been so much calmer and I would have been at ease. I have decided the BMT stands for......Basic Mom Torture....LOL.

Ok on for the events. The Airmans Run: OMG when they topped that hill and was singing...that was it for me...LOL My son was close enought for me to touch him....and NO I didn't...lol but I sure wanted to...The funny thing was..they were going so fast..they all were about to knock each other down. Below is a pic of my son...He's the little one with the ace bandage on his knee.

We had a 4 hour break after the Airman's Run...talk about the mom torture again..LOL. So we walked around and watched some of the Rainbow and Baby Flights. There was not many out because they had black flagged the base...that means its dang hot. I was sitting under the naughty tree doing the one vice I have...yes smoking. and started talking to this guy..well damn it was JR from California..him and his wife Donna belong to the group I started for all of us..never did get to meet her that day..but it was all good..we were staying in same hotel. And yes I got to meet all but 1 of the members of our group and the 1 I didn't get to meet..kept missing each other.

Ok I have started crying writing this..just remembering it all..so I will write more later today.

In some ways, its seem like this day would never come...and in other ways..its like whoa...where did time go. He PASSED his PT test..woohoooo..We also heard from him this last Saturday Night and he sounded good but really tired....But then again we all are..I don't anyone in this house has got a decent nights sleep in the last few days. I know for me...I slept the best, the very first week he was gone.

We are leaving tommorrow night Tuesday...and driving thru the night so maybe Jordan can sleep. I will post pictures when we get back. We had a friend make us a sign...he's gonna see us from a mile away...LOL

I also put up a picture here that I took of a picture he sent us. Its his first official Air Force Graduation pic. I will post next week of pictures we take.

Oh guys wish us luck and prayers and mojo or whatever you prefer to do....I might be able to update in evenings...not sure how good the internet at hotel will be. If not I will see everyone next week.

A got to call last night...they got base liberty and he was at the BX eating..lol my boy does like to eat. They came in second place for beast week, Made this momma even more proud...;D He said they saw diamond backs, rattlers and scorpions at beast...no one got bite as far as I know..but one group of the girls found a snake in their tent and one of the TI's said it was a sight to see...lol I told A they would have had to taken me to the hospital if I had been there...lol

Anyway, this week is classes, testing and the big PT test...the only thing he is worried about is the sit-ups...I'm keeping everything crossed that he passes that.

First off, I want to thank everyone that has sent me emails and made comments here about all of this..They have really helped..but with a lot of sadness...I'm going to stop blogging....there will be no more of the good, bad or ugly. I have received a few emails from people that I guess do not understand and have told me in no uncertain terms..to stop...to grow up and on and on.

Well this has been my experience and as I stated in the very first post...MY experience. But anyway....I can't deal with this kind of criticisms at the moment...My only thoughts are of my son....how is he doing? Has he caught whatever has put 19 boys from another flight in the hospital? So yes I'm going to stop blogging. I'm so very sorry to the other moms that have been reading this that also are going thur this...If you want to talk email me.

OMG it has turned so cold here...grey day and so very cold. I thought this was May and its suppose to be warmer...LOL

Well its Sunday and we didn't get a call this weekend...I wonder what is going on??? Did their flight get in trouble? Is something wrong with the phone there? The phones do not have the best connection there. Well I guess we will have to wait and see...I love the Air Force...its a hurry and wait game...LOL

We only have a couple of weeks and we are heading down to Tx..Oh lord I'm so excited and cannot wait..Not only will I see my son..but maybe it will be warmer...LOL I know I need to get over the rain, cold thingy I have going on...lol

This is J's last week of school...4 days and he's done for the yr..and going to middle school next yr..my how time flies.

My son turns 19 today. The very first time I have not been with one of my kids on their birthday. The mail just ran and no letter. I sure hope he gets to call today.

Some days are so hard and I miss him so much. He's becoming a man, but I really want my child back. I know I have to let him fly but a mom can still want can't she?

Well we are going to my BFF's house tonight, She had her second child the same day that A left for Tx. I have seen him once...I think I will go and hold him the whole night..lol

Not much going on here....J is finishing up his last year in elementary school and we are having some pretty wicked storms..every day. Have I said how tired of the rain I am??

We got a letter on Friday...A sounded really good and seem to really be enjoying some of the classes he's having. Oh he was doing a Self Buddy Care thingy?? LOL and him and another recruit picked up their MTI..they proved that the little guys are not so weak...LOL

Beautiful day in K-Town today..still a little nippy air temp wise but beautiful day. J went to middle school today to tour it and loved it..wants to start today...lol

Yesterday and today both have been not so good days...I go for several days and I'm fine then for no reason I get really sad and miss A so much. His bday is this coming Saturday and I went and got a card to send him...and it really made me sad that I won't see him on his bday..seeing how I was there for his birth....LOL Just a sad day and another reminder that my baby is growing up and spreading those wings.

We got a letter and he sounds really good. Still concerned about his sit-ups but I have faith that he will get them. Every letter I tell him I have faith and I'm so proud of him. just a few more wks and it will be time to hit the road..;D

Well today was another grey day and very windy...my youngest son had field day at school today. The last one for him as he will be starting middle school next year. I have done field day 12 times..between the 2 boys. J goes to the middle school tommorrow for a tour of the building...and they get ice cream...lol they are all excited. Next week is the last week of school and Thursday is Awards day, then Friday is it. Middle School here we come...lol

I didn't get a call yesterday from A but with getting one Saturday Night...I really wasn't looking for one. Would have been nice..but I'm ok with not getting one. I did get a letter today and he sounded really good in it. He will be really busy this week....he has the gas chamber...yuck..lol and gets fitted for his Blues....formal uniform, he also has some other things that he told his dad about..something about a gun..lol man talk I guess...lol He also has the Obstacle Course...alot of the recruits really like this. He is also on KP duty...working in the kitchen/chow hall...he said he gets to have either ice cream or a coke with his meal. He has not had a mountain dew or coke since April 14th and he wants one bad....LOL He sounded really good Saturday Night and in the letter I got today...so we are all plugging alone.

Thats it for now..I'm gonna go find me a hot bathtub....;d

Storms early this morning,,then we actually got to see the sun...could not believe it..lol I didn't get a letter today but I did get a call. He sounds so good and sounded like he was really enjoying himself. He wanted to let me know that he had taken money out of his account...LOL got to love that child. He also said when we get there he wants me and him to go to grocery store and bond...Its a little joke between me and him.

He's doing alot better with his sit-ups and we might just get there...;D

Oh and a little update...transformer for our house blew last nite. boy it got warm inside fast...missed most of Nascar Race..but yehhhh go Mark Martin...;D

Today is a wonderful day here, The sun is shining..alto they are still saying rain today. I have enjoyed sitting outside.

The big news is....I got 3 letters from my son...2 were letters about this and that..and the 3rd one was a Mothers Day Card w/a little teddy bear necklace..for me to adopt..I'm almost teared up..lol I so love my son and miss him so much that it hurts. He's starting week 4 Sunday, 4 more weeks to go..we are half way thur..woohooo..Now I have to bust butt and get some money made..They tell us they will eat, eat, eat, and then eat some more..so I gotta get the money for him to eat...I so cannot wait to get there.

I'm taking my computer, so he can chillax has they say and he can get online at the hotel..So I will be able to keep everyone updated on our week there.

Oh I'm so excited.

Still raining...have I said how tired I am of the rain? LOL and it looks like all the way thur the weekend...boohiss.

Well no letter today, I didn't receive one last Wednesday either. I want to call down there and tell them to get their act together..lol don't they know this mom is missing her boy? LOL just kidding guys. I don't want to cause him any problems or me go to jail. But I can think it...lol

Hopefully I will get one tommorrow. Crossing fingers and toes.

I've noticed I'm having a hard time this week getting to the swing of things I normally do..so tommorrow and Friday is catch up day...;D

Well I think we are gonna need a ark soon...LOL We have had rain since..well I can't remember when..and more the rest of the week...yeppers we need a ark...LOL

I got a letter yesterday and today..he sounds really good in them..so I'm really hoping he was just having a bad day Saturday and is ok now...;D I did hear from a another mom who's son is in the same flight as A and she said her son told her, that he knows mine...he said he can eat a pound of food in 1 minute and mine can eat 2 to 3 pounds in 1 minute...LOL I don't know why but that really made my day. I sure hope it is my son.

Well we are having about 1 hour of sunshine..so I'm gonna go sit outside. My world seems so much brighter when the sun shines.

Its raining for like the 4 or 5th day in a row..No call last nite. Its sucks.
I'm worried about my son and no way to find out if it was just a pity moment or if something else is going on. It totally sucks at the moment.
