It's the island that connects Oakland and San Francisco. The marina is the Treasure island side which is connected by a small isthmus to Yerba Buena island. <br />

That weekend we went ashore and visited<a href="http://winery-sf.com/" target="_blank"> The Winery</a>. Here we bought and enjoyed a bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of their 2008 Cab.<br />
It's always nice to enjoy and share a good bubbly and a nice Cabernet with friends. For Lenard and I, it was a half hour ride to the anchorage.<br />

What is it this year? Stop smoking? Lose weight? Save more money? Whatever your resolution may be for the new year, I know what mine will be. For me it's all about staying fit and good nutrition.<br />
I was reading Time magazine about <i>Fit vs. Fat. </i>According to the article, there was <i>"a study of 14,345 men found that regardless of how much weight they gained or lost over 11 years, those who stayed fit or got even fitter, as measured by performance on a treadmill test, lowered their risk of dying from heart conditions by at least 30% compared with those who fell out of shape. </i><br />
